Supportive staff - received all the details in terms of automatic check-in well in advance, modest but still nice breakfast, spacious room - comfy double bed, great WiFi connection, superior location - everything is nearby (bus station, city center, etc.)

Nothing major to be honest - just make sure to agree on arrival time so that the entrance door from outside would be opened for you. Just talk to Gaia so she could meet you there and open the doors. I was lucky enough because some other people did that to me, so didn't wait too long downstairs.

The property was in an ideal location both for getting to and from Genova City Airport (a 25 mins bus ride plus a short walk). It is located in the centre of the old town with an abundance of food places and shops within <3 mins walking but, noise was not a problem at night. The room was lovely and spacious with a perfect en-suite and good AC system.

Not a complaint but some fruit with breakfast would’ve been lovely and helped compensate the low fibre content of much Italian food.

1. The room itself was clean, normal size with facilities 2. Condition was normal, 3. Breakfast included yogurts and fresh croissants, coffee, tea, etc. Plus, there was always clean water in the kitchen. 4. Self check-in was kind of easy, excluding the main door of the building, which is old and a little problematic

1. The street building is located on doesn't seem to be safe at night times, some strange guys were yelling till late night. 2. The door of the building itself was problematic, you have to play with the key to open it, so I suggested to add this part in the video.

A large room high up in a faded palazzo dating originally from the 14th century. The owner is charming and very helpful. The palazzo is in the narrow streets in the middle of the pedestrianised old town close to the port. All the main sights and museums are in walking distance as is the metro to the main rail stations. The funicular ride to the Ridge is spectacular. The history and art museums are exceptional. Don't leave without trying the ice cream by the Palazzo Rosso.

At night some of the narrow alleys nearby can be threatening. You are advised to take care not to follow suggestions from Google, Moovit or Citymapper that take you off the street system.

The breakfast and location were excellent. The breakfast room would have benefitted from having a microwave, but otherwise all was fine. Patricia was very friendly and helpful and spoke a bit of English..

As this was an 'unmanned' B&B we did have some difficulty getting into the property, mainly because of lack of internet prior to our arrival which meant we missed some relevant messages on Whatsapp. However, we rang the doorbell's of some neighbours who were very helpful and let us into the building, who then phoned the owners/staff on our behalf. However, once we gained access all was very well inside the B&B.

We loved our stay here. Our room was clean and spacious , with the most interesting view. I felt the host had gone to a lot of trouble to make our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! If you like to walk and discover the narrow streets of this beautiful city, Dormire dai Grimaldi is a great place to stay.

Lovely place, the hostess was super friendly and accommodating, making lovely breakfast in the morning to wake up to. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was great. Room felt clean and aircon worked brilliantly.

The location is great during the day but can feel a little bit sketchy at night, not the hosts fault just something to keep in mind if you’re a solo traveler. The walls are also a little thin so earplugs might come in handy.

Tasty fresh pasties brought each day, plus healthy cereals and yogurt we enjoyed. Clean, nicely furnished, owner so responsive. We recommend highly.

Entering the property could be organized a bit more smoothly. There was a bit of confusion about picking up the keys.

Initially it was difficult to find the property entrance but as soon as we got inside we were happy with the room and B&B. The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean, we especially loved the breakfast in the morning! Thank you!

We would have liked to have a hob to cook on but we understand that this is a B&B so it makes sense that there was none, the stairs and hallway outside the apartment were dirty but we know that this is not the fault of the host! :)

The room was spacious and clean.. and it had an air conditioner.. The staff is very friendly and gave us tips on what to do and how to go places.. Close to a big public parking for those travelling by car.. also close to the center and the port.. Breakfast was OK for those who like typical Italian breakfast🤷‍♀️

It's sometimes noisy at night and the sound isolation between rooms isn't the greatest..
