A good hotel with a central location. The room was nice and clean with a comfy bed. There was a little coffee machine in the reception/kitchen area and the staff were really helpful.

When booking this hotel I received some strange messages on booking.com and also through email that I needed to complete a "verification process" or I'd lose my booking. I recognised the message as spam because of the fake link they sent and that they asked for my bank details when i had already paid the hotel. It was in fact a scam. It is not the hotels fault but something guests should watch out for because they tried stealing 810 euro from my bank account but thankfully my bank blocked it.

The location is good, within old town with many cafes, restaurants and stores around. The room was very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful during check in. If you are coming by car, the staff helps you for the nearby parking lots (the hotel is located within limited traffic area so not easy to drive in) and give you discount for daily rates. We parked at Marina Porto Antico which is 2-3 mins of walk from the hotel and was pretty good. The staff also contacts you via whatsapp before your arrival which makes the experience even better.

The room size was perfect for our family which we have 4 persons. The location of this hotel is excellent if you plan for the cruise trip or the hotel that close to the aquarium. They also have the luggages store service which we can leave our luggages a bit further after checked out.

It would be great if they can have the bigger shower room. They have the big bathroom but the shower room a bit too small for us. We need to close the window because there were noisy sound from outside during the night. But the rest were fine with us.

Location: Terrific-5 minute walk to everything, including public bus. Staff: Laria, Camilla, Francesco and a young assistant were friendly and understanding. Facilities: microwave, refrigerator, tables, chairs and large tv(italian only) in reception area. Oversized bathroom(room 214) Elevator to access upper floors.

Bed way too hard. Could not sleep on my side. Also, Wifi was sporadic first night. Second night worked fine

Great location, walking distance to Metro and train station. Room looks recently renovated, especially the bathroom. Comfy bed and room very clean. The man who held our luggage and the man who checked us out at departure were very polite and friendly.

The woman who was at front desk in the afternoon was quite surly, always looked like we were bothering her. Room could use more furniture; anything that didn’t fit on the tiny bedside wall shelves had to go on the floor. No chair, but rather an office stool to sit on. Bathroom was VERY nice but no where to put toiletry bags or to hang a towel.

The location is fantastic, in the heart of things in the old town on a busy street. The hotel felt safe and secure with the front door locked against anyone trying to wander in off the street. There was no noise from the street despite it having plenty of restaurants and bars. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and there was air conditioning. For a budget hotel it had the essentials including toiletries.

You have to remember this is a budget hotel. It states tea and coffee making facilities and it does have a kettle and two mugs in the room. However, that is it - no tea or coffee, not even a spoon (unless we were unlucky!)

It's OK for a couple, but the room is just big enough for a bed, one armoire and a desk. So, no comfort, no spending free time - for that you can use common area with a fridge and a microwave. So, depending on how you spend your time, it can be sufficient (as it was for us, jsut to sleep over) or too small.

The hotel is located in a very central area with plenty restaurants, shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, bus stops, metro, train and everything that you could possibly think about that you my need. It's very clean and the shower is just great. The staff was welcoming and super friendly for the duration of my stay. The hotel is close to Piazza Principe which is a great station for day trips to Cinque Terre and Portofino, many other destinations as well like Milan, Rome etc but I was on a short trip to visit Cinque Terre and Portofino. The bed was super comfortable as well.

Great location in the old town of Genoa. Staff communicated with me before my arrival providing instructions on finding the place. Staff was very helpful as I changed rooms as I did not want a room without an attached bathroom. They also recommended a local restaurant frequented by locals. There was an elevator.

hotel is undergoing renovation so my room needed painting. Also I could not get the door to terrace to stay closed so I pushed a table in front of it. This was the reason for a lower score.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay at the Mini Hotel. We were immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the premises, the friendliness of the staff, the spacious bedroom, bathroom, antechamber, and the location. Check-in and check-out were problem free. We were greeted each day with a friendly, “Buongiorno” from the receptionist. We appreciated the level of security provided by the four keys. Although our room was front facing, it was surprisingly quiet. We did hear the occasional dog bark or person shouting but otherwise our sleep was undisturbed. There was very little internal noise too – we did hear a child crying once, but there were no other loud voices or doors banging. The hotel is ideally located for enjoying a walking tour of Genova, within walking distance of Piazza Principe (where bus from airport stops), Piazza Ferrari, Castelletto, the Port and many wonderful restaurants. We did have to get a bus to Boccadasse. Housekeeping was superb with a daily change of bed linen, towels, and soaps/shower gels, plus the in-depth cleaning of the bedroom and bathroom. Toilet rolls are renewed when necessary but it would be a good idea to have a spare roll provided in case one roll is finished before the housekeeper arrives. Furniture was kept to a minimum. A kettle was provided (but not cups), and there is a coffee machine in the reception area. Air-conditioning is provided and the shuttered window could be opened to enhance airflow. The bed was comfortable but some people might require more than a single pillow (there are extra bedclothes in the wardrobe which could be used to elevate the pillows). We would like to thank each member of staff who made our stay in Mini Hotel so memorable, not just while we were present in Genova, but in our communications beforehand. Booking.com made an error in double charging us and it was a nightmare to deal with their (Booking.com) customer services when requesting a refund.
