This is the second time that I have stayed here. I like where it is in Genova. Not far from the station,bus stop outside, near to the harbour,pier,aquarium. Lots of places to eat nearby. Rooms are good but dull colour scheme makes them drab. Beds are comfortable. Some noise from outside but it is a busy city. Lovely friendly staff. Very clean. It's a proper old fashioned Italian hotel and I like that.

Lack of good fresh fruit at breakfast. They could cut down on cake varieties and have some melon slices or berries. The bananas were massive,apples wrinkly and oranges difficult to peel without getting in a sticky mess. The orange juicer has been removed from the breakfast room so you now have to ask a staff member if you want some freshly squeezed juice. It is a shame as people quite like to do that.

perfect location, friendly staff (they let a limited number of guests park bicycles and small mopeds inside), comfy bathroom design and layout, overall gives old hotel vibes in a positive way

not recommended for those seeking quietness due to the not-so-soundproof walls and windows that let other guests' conversations leak through, plus there is a drinking place nearby that might disturb your night as it seems to be still open past midnight. still, the hotel is not a wrong choice for those who do not mind background noises while sleeping, especially when fatigued after a long day outside.

The hotel was in easy walking distance of the railway station. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who helped us with things to see and areas to go. We really appreciated that. As we arrived rather early, the hotel let us store our luggage whilst we had a wander and waited for our room to be prepared. The room was comfortable and air conditioning was a plus. The bed was comfortable, everything was very clean. The cleaning staff were very courteous and friendly, so a thank-you to them. Breakfast was lovely as were the staff around assisting. Croissants, cheeses, hams, bread, salad, coffee, fruit juices, etc. My wife and I didn't over indulge and we ate everything on our plates and felt "full". This, in our opinion, is a plus of the hotel for the price. The location: easy to walk to the marina front, to the old city, etc. We walked miles and miles whilst there and found the whole place very interesting and worthwhile for us visiting it.

All was good for us; overall a very friendly hotel and nothing we didn't dislike (apart from the lift, that if you touch it, it stops! Freaked my poor wife out when I touched it "accidentally"!! BUT, there are instructions on what to do so its NOT an issue!)

We were placed in a huge room that spanned three separate rooms (we had booked to stay in a double room) which was virtually an apartment. We weren’t sure if this was an upgrade, but the space was incredible. The location of this hotel is perfect - centred between both main train stations which are roughly a ten minute walk either side, or a short metro trip. The waterfront is also a five to ten minute walk away, and there is a beautiful ascent to a lookout which takes about 15mins to get to from the hotel. The staff were amazing and super helpful with guiding us on where to get our washing done, and organising a taxi to the FlixBus bus stop for an early morning departure following our final day in Genoa. The breakfast was lovely, too. We couldn’t have hoped for a better experience.

The shower fluctuated between hot and cold. Unsure if this was due to high usage across the hotel at that time.

- We were located on the 4th floor and had a wonderful view of the Santissima Annunziata del Vastato church (just across the street). - Breakfast was great. Variety of fresh pastries, cold cuts and cheese, and a very cool coffee machine that made excellent cappuccinos! - Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The front desk workers would always greet us and the staff during breakfast were so polite and would strike up a conversation with us. - Very close walk to Porto Antico and the Genoa Aquarium. We could access some nice areas of the city, such as piazzas, stores and restaurants, all on foot. - Room was quiet. Despite us overlooking a busy street we didn't hear any of the noise as we slept. - Having such a nice hotel allowed us to enjoy all of Genoa's charm.

- Wifi signal was weak in the room but it worked well in the lobby. - Elevator was pretty small, we had to bring our luggages up in multiple trips. Stairs were also quite steep.

The location was good, walking distance from the train station. Also very close to the waterfront attractions. Hop on hop off bus very close for transportation. For one person, the room was good size. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Good hot water and good water pressure. The front desk is 24 hours, a big plus. One thing that really stands out was their breakfast buffet. I thought it was excellent and it came with the room price. Fresh orange juice was great. Breads, Ham, cheese, and so much more. Oh yes, the large coffee machine. Cappuccino every morning, I loved it. A very big PLUS. A big thank you to Nedo, the General Manager. I had a little issue with my wifi. I spoke to Nedo, and the problem was solved . Grazie I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

You are in a busy part of town and some street noise, in some areas, should be expected.

Friendly staff, good room with everything I needed - fridge, air con, good shower comfortable bed It was very clean, the lift worked well, breakfast was exceptional - lots of choice and freshly squeezed orange juice So easy to walk to the main train station, and round the corner from Via Garibaldi The staff gave a map and explained where everything was I felt very safe there as a solo traveller

Happy with everything -

1. Good location. It's walkable to Piazza Principe train station, cruise port and tourist attractions in town. There are two super market and many cafe near by. 2. Room was with a large bed, clean and quiet. 3. Friendly staff, OK breakfast, reasonable price. 4. Recommend and will stay here again.

Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! good Italian style breakfast, unlimited freshly squeezed orange juice is a nice touch, clean overall, central location.

old building, it has it’s disadvantages, bathroom is modern, reception and breakfast area is renewed and good looking, but room itself had a window which is pointing to other building like a meter away and no sun is getting in the room :/ if however you are lucky you get room with street view than it will be great. I guess if you can afford to spend a little more for a little bit more comfort than do it, otherwise this hotel is a good value for money.

Staff were very attentive, super housekeeper. Room was very large, it had a spare bed for third person, which served as a couch/ space to spread our luggage. Bathroom immaculate. Large bed it was lovely to fall into after an exhausting day trying to cram in the sights of Genoa.

The traffic noise in the morning was very loud, even with the windows shut. The toilet cistern sometimes took a very long time to refill, we could hear water running for a long time - we were at the point of calling reception because we thought it must be broken, but it was OK
