The staff competent, attentive & friendly. The room was very large & very well appointed The fresco in the room was beautiful.

The location was right at the Main Street between the port & businesses. Very active & very loud. The room was the only one on the main floor with a balcony. Couldn’t enjoy the balcony due to the noise. We were told we would not hear the noise due to the installation of double pane windows. However, every night the noise kept us awake until around 1:30 am.

Beautiful architectural UNESCO heritage building. Good location within easy reach of the train station and old town. We upgraded to a junior suite but am not sure that it was worth the additional spend due to the negative points.

We had to turn the aircon off as it was too noisy to sleep with it on and it made the room very warm. Ceiling was very low , I'm not a tall person but could touch the ceiling. Staff were not overally friendly but were efficient. Water pressure could have been better in the shower.

The hotel was clean with friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was very good.

The location is by the marina/cruise terminal with all that comes from being located in those areas. The streets were dirty with lots of garbage. Saw a few rats. The hotel can’t do anything about that, but it’s unfortunate that such a nice hotel has to be located in a part of the city that the city doesn’t maintain well.

Our stay at this hotel was truly excellent. From the warm and professional service at the reception to the comfort of the room, everything exceeded our expectations. The facilities were outstanding, making our experience even more enjoyable. We are very impressed and will definitely plan another stay here soon.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo Durazzo and I had the most exceptional experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, it was an Italian fairytale. The architecture, concept, and interior design were extraordinary. Every bedroom is designed after different stories of the city and Italy and the attention to detail in every corner of the hotel was incredible. The bedrooms were simply breathtaking. Elegantly furnished and tastefully decorated, they provided the perfect sanctuary after a long day of exploring the city. The beds were so comfortable and the linens were of the best quality as well as the stunning views of the port from the giant room windows. The bathrooms are truly luxurious and have a beautiful selection of products. The breakfast was composed of the highest quality local food and fruits + a professional chef. Another detail that caught my attention were the luxurious amenities offered by the hotel like the spa and living room spaces. What truly set this hotel apart was the impeccable service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the genuinely friendly and courteous staff members who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The staff's knowledge of the local area and their willingness to provide recommendations truly enhanced my overall experience. They gave me a tour of some of the bedrooms and I have never seen a hotel with that level of curation. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the ultimate choice for an architecturally rich and chic experience in Genova. It truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible.

The location was sketchy when getting back at night near the port. Also would have liked option to have lunch or dinner at hotel.

Glorious former palace. Genuinely friendly and accommodating staff.

The contemporary decor, however refined or not, totally obfuscates the glory of the former palace. Which is why one chooses to stay in one. Besides which, the hotel does not provide the services—that attention to detail—commensurate with the price.

It is a fabulous old palace building with much history and beautifully restored. The breakfast was lovely too.

The air conditioning was way too cold and is controlled by reception - originally set at 16 degrees - we needed an extra duvet. Also the property is right on the dock front …with a main road running outside …quite industrial.

This is by far the best hotel in Genova! A beautifully restored Palazzo with great attention to detail…..Everything is done with impeccable taste and quality. The staff are attentive, personable and make your stay extremely comfortable! The two reception staff are especially fantastic!!! If your budget allows, I would highly recommend staying at Palazzo Durazzo!

Fantastic historic palace in the heart of Genoa, with few rooms but exquisitely refined and luxuriously finished. Immense halls and very spacious rooms. Highly recommended. Valet service included.
