Location is perfect. 10 minutes walk to Piazza del Ferrari and to Brignole Train station. Anna has been so helpful to us, giving us much needed information and assisting us to book taxi to the airport. Very honest and trustworthy as we had to hand over to her our passports and cash for safekeeping ( key in our safe in the bedroom missing on first day). Anna got this sorted and when we got back after a day trip from Cinque Terre, all our things are already in the safe. Breakfast is good. Again, Anna was so attentive, preparing us freshly made cappuccino first thing in the morning. Particularly enjoyed the pastry with pistachio and custard cream fillings. There are plenty to choose from and the snacks and drinks are available all day. My only suggestion is to have a variety each day ( different types of cold meat ) as it is the same every day. Facilities are good too. We had a small air conditioner and a stand fan at the same time, in our bedroom which is great. We also have a small fridge with a free small bottle of prosecco and a can of beer to welcome us. The room is very spacious. This place could easily be 4 to 5 star if they update the furnishings and interior design. The same with the back garden, plenty of potential in there. Overall, a very good base to see Genoa, Portofino and Cinque Terre ☺️

None. But breakfast is the same every day. The lock on the door is quite fiddly but this is because the property is 19th century building and am assuming they want to keep this charming feature.

The staff has been very kind and helpful with our requests. The location is really good because it is 20 minutes of walk far from the acquarium and other attractions. It has got a close bus stop.

The shower is the only thing which we weren’t happy about because it has to be fixed.

Great location, just 12 mins walk from Piazza Ferrari. Very tasty breakfast with fresh Foccaccio and Breakfast buns on offer, teas and coffees. I had expresso which was very high quality as was the Ginseng Coffee (which was a revelation). Very friendly staff, clean bed linen and spotless bathroom. We really appreciated hot bath after long day walking Genoa streets, palazzos etc. Would recommend hotel as great VFM base for Genoa. Grazie mille!

Excellent location. Close to town center and restaurants Huge spacious rooms. Complimentary drinks and amenities in the rooms. Good breakfast. Yes its a bit dated but charming. We would definatley stay again.

Some electrical sockets were broken or not working.
