I had booked a single room, but they gave me a very large one with beds for 3 people, a dining table, and even a small kitchen with fridge, stoves, microwave... that I didn't need to use because I was only there to sleep, but could be very helpful for longer stays or a family with a kid. Breakfast was not included, but there was a common dining area where they left a complimentary selection of biscuits, snacks, tea... and a coffee machine was also available. The area was very central, close to Brignole station and felt very quiet and safe at night. The manager was really nice.

The system to open the front door was a bit complicated, as you have to type a 10 digit code onto a very small keyboard on the doorknob

Large room. Located 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Good to have lots of plug/ charging points. There was a communal fridge. I was in Room no. 4. Some of the 5 rooms may have had their own fridge.

My room being no. 4 was next door to room no. 3. Unfortunately room no. 3 didn't have private facilities i. e. an enquire shower room. On the other side of my room I had a shared wall with room no. 3 shower room. I was woken up on at least 3 nights in my 7 nights with people taking showers up to 4 am. Shower wasn't the easiest to get in and out of.

5min walk from station. Walking distance to old town n attractions. Bedroom was big. Bathroom was clean n functional. Shower may be tight for some bigger person. hotel and has a pantry for tea n snack. Can fix up light meals with microwave. No gas stove. Hostess was very helpful n friendly. Bfast was simple but enough. Will stay again if back in Genova.

Bathroom is a little cold in Nov.

The host was exceptional and definitely made us feel welcome. There’s some breakfast snacks in the morning and there’s an elevator that goes to level 3, which is where the place is located. The location is both good and bad. It’s very close to the Brignole train station which was nice, but it was a little far from the port if you’re not taking the bus.

The wifi only worked near the door in the room.

Everything is perfect. The staff was very kind and helpful. The place is near to the Brignole station and you can go to city center by walking in 15 min. Breakfast is ok. You can take Coffee all the time which is perfect. You can leave your luggage before check in and after check out.

You can hear all the noise of the apartment the walls were thin.

This is a spacious pensione near the train station on a street that will lead you into the heart of Genoa. It has everything you need. The proprietor is most kind and generous. It's a clean, friendly place, the kind of authentic Italian hotel that is really fun to stay at.

There was nothing I didn't like. I would just suggest, as the light bulbs are replaced in the rooms, replacing them with warmer light, at the yellow end of the spectrum.

The room was clean and comfortable, the place had a little communal area with a vending machine, desks, a fridge and a small kitchen. We even got some pastries in the morning free of charge. The proximity of the train station and multiple stores is amazing.

Clean room, central location. The manager was very kind - I recommend to stay here. Also very pleasant communication before and during the stay.

It would have been great to have the opportunity to cook as the kitchen’s size would be sufficient for that matter.
