It is very central and we were able to walk everywhere. You have to look carefully for the entrance. Once inside, enter the lift and close the lift door firmly. Go to the first floor. This is the reception area. Our room was great. It did not have any tea and coffee making facilities but it has a fridge. It was clean with large cupboards and the bathroom was very nice also. If you go out after 7.30 pm the front doors to the building are locked and you need to use the bell on the left hand side of the door. It is clearly marked with the hotel name and if you ring, the receptionist will open the door and you can enter.There was breakfast available which was very good. The staff were very organised and helpful. We were able to walk a very short distance to the bus stop and catch a number 20 bus directly to the main train station.

The bells ringing very close by was a little disconcerting at 08.30 and 5.30 pm. The locked entrance door of hotel door was tricky as it sticks and does not open as easily as it should. A key pad system would possible be better, where you tap in your code and the door opens straight away rather than waiting for reception to open it.

We booked 2 single beds (Twin Room) for a 4 night stay. Unfortunately, due to the design of the room, it meant that one of us was on a 'camp bed' which was not the best for sleeping & bad back, especially as I had to remember to duck my head as the supporting cupboard overhangs the bed. However, we did enjoy the facilities although we did not partake of breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist when I was bitten by a wasp in the street. The lift is amusing and quaint. Bathroom excellent although the wash-hand basin is so big there is not much room left to put toiletries especially as there is no cupboard/vanity available. No Tissues! Not enough lighting in the main room, but the view into the street was great. Wardrobe and luggage rack were very welcome.

The room was large and comfortable and felt very relaxing. It had been recently decorated very well and was exceptionally clean. The staff were delightful. The breakfast were good and I would highly recommend this hotel.

The only reason I didn't give it 10 was that it advertised tea and coffee making facilities and electric kettles but these did not seem to exist at all anywhere in the hotel and the staff we asked were bemused as they never had. However, the staff were very happy to make us trades of hot water and milk so we could make tea, although of course that didn't mean we couldn't make it first thing in the morning.

The location is perfect. It's on the best street in Genoa. It's close to everything, easy to walk to most places, and there is a bus stop 2 minutes away with a great bus service, and a train station close by too which makes day trips out of the city very easy to do. The room we had was great in size and really relaxing. The room is modern and the beds are very comfortable and the room is very clean and fresh. The ceilings are really high too so feels very airy. We had a lovely balcony which faced the main street, with stunning architectural columns and a great view of the whole street. At night you don't hear any noise from the street as the double glazing blocks it out completely. The main road isnt too busy at night anyway ( it is busy during the day). The staff are really nice, friendly and helpful too. The breakfast is great. There is a wide selection of food to choose from, and great coffee. There is an elevator too so easy to get there with luggage.

There is nothing we didn't like. We totally lucked out with this hotel. We wish this hotel existed in other cities too.

The hotel is reasonably close to two train stations but is really well located in the city. Those who like shopping, you're in the right spot! For those who want to go to the beach, the bus line 15 is near and brings you there. It is a very clean hotel that is located in a building that looks like an apartment building. It's a bit confusing if you are not used to those kinds of hotels. That being said, you feel welcome, the rooms are modern, very clean, strong air conditioning if you need it and the breakfast included is decent. Nothing to complain about.

The shower is problematic. There is no door, only a glass that covers half of it. The water being strong makes a mess on the floor, water everywhere.

Excellent facilities in a compact hotel in an office building housing businesses, on Gevova’s main street, and convenient for the train and bus stations. Easy walk to and from the stations. Lovely period lift to access the hotel on the first floor. Comfortable beds, and excellent bathroom facilities. Good breakfast choice. As Brits we missed not having tea making facilities in the room. The room had a key locking safe, and as no key was offered, presumably it was chargeable. Both unusual these days, but did not mar our stay. Recommended and good value.

The location was ideal for walking everywhere in Genoa, and there is discounted parking in the garage under the COIN department store across the street, which was very convenient.

The listing indicates that there was an electric tea kettle and a tea/coffee maker in the room, but neither are there. I needed to boil water and although I was able to use the microwave in the breakfast room, it was a minor disappointment and inconvenience since I only choose properties that have a tea kettle in the room.

Friendly welcome. Location was very good, 10 mins walk from a major train station, tourist sites very close and many restaurant options nearby. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a safe available. Breakfast was very good, including the coffee. Would definitely stay here again. The City was very easy for a tourist as there were many maps and tourist signs. Look for a doorway under the sign, the hotel is on the first floor.

A lovely hotel in the heart of the city. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was excellent, bigger than we were expecting and great facilities to hand. Just what we needed. A good breakfast with a great selection to give you that must needed start to your day. Excellent location with easy access to restaurants, shops and a short distance from the museum's and the port with its amazing views of the region's coastline. Fantastic transport links to the stations or airport. This is a must hotel for anyone wishing to explore this amazing city.
