Excellent place with superb views to the lake and the Malcesine Castle. Wonderful terrace and a swimming pool with views. Easy free parking inside the property. A bar-restaurant for lunch or dinner. The staff very friendly and helpful. You just can’t get enough overlooking the Lake Garda Panorama from the terrace, especially in the breakfast or savouring the taste of a good wine or dinning in the restaurant at night.

There are new renovated rooms and old. Our rooms were old and in profound need of renovation (but we knew before from the photos while booking that our rooms would be old. It wasn’t a surprise or that they tricked us with other rooms).An ugly odor of mould or moisture was annoying every time we went to our room, and it didn’t fade away unless we opened fully the windows. Very few sockets in room for 4 persons. You just can’t charge 4 cell phones in the night time. Mosquitoes was a problem. The refrigerator was out of order, so there was a very smaller one in the kitchen. You still need your car to go to Malcesine. I think that they should have a van or mini-bus or something like that.

A perfect family experience. The 8- and 10-year-old girls were also allowed to enter there. Highly recommend a family vacation there

We had an amazing 2 night stay, hotel was beautiful in a wonderful location with amazing views. The room was beautiful with lake views, pool area wonderful. staff went above beyond, breakfast and evening meal delicious and lots of choice at breakfast. walk into Malcesine lovely and a bit of climb back and walking in area just fab. We will definitely be back as we have found a little bit of heaven . Thank you

Nothin everything was amazing

Our stay was truly wonderful! The breakfasts were very tasty, with fresh and regional products that made every morning special. The staff were amazing – always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything . The warm atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food made our experience unforgettable. We would love to come back!

Everything was perfect.

Location with see view from the balcony or restaurant is fabulous. Easy and comfort and free parking inside of the property. Staff especially girls in reception are showing perfect customer experience. Closer to cable car second entrance avoiding a big queue in the Malcestine

Nothing to complain

I love everything about this hotel - outstanding view from the room, breakfast, kind staff, the pool with amazing view on mountains. The hotel located on the hill only 10min driving from the center. The restaurant at the hotel serves delicious food - I highly recommend to book there a table.

I booked a table at the restaurant to celebrate my mom's birthday and we had to wait for 30+ min for someone to come to us. We left the restaurant and went to the city to celebrate. Apart from this everything was great

Extremely friendly, helpful and professional staff in reception and in the restaurant/bar - on first name terms with many of them and our daughter was spoiled! Gorgeous location perched high above the lovely town of Malcesine and the lake with views up to Riva and the mountains. Delicious food - huge choice at breakfast and dined there in the evenings on alternate nights. Pool is large and plenty of loungers etc. also a jacuzzi-style plunge pool and paddling pool for kids. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped suite with kitchenette. Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful too. Communal areas in the bar/lounge/children's room all modern and spacious. Excellent all round and while usually we prefer to visit new places, we would definitely be tempted to return next year! Malcesine is a lovely town to wander around in the evening with lots of good restaurant options. Also had a nice day out by taking the ferry up the lake to Riva. Gardaland is a day trip - about 2.5 hour round trip? Recommend the paragliding from the mountain up behind the hotel too - the views from up the top of the mountain via cable car are worth it too but time it well as cable car gets busy.

Our suite was described by Booking.com (not the hotel) as having its own private pool - none of the rooms have this! Not the fault of the hotel though. The only downside was having to drive down into town - 800m is, as the hotel makes clear, as the crow flies and it is about 3km down a narrow, steep road. You don't get the spectacular views otherwise of course, but thought worth noting!

Amazing views, good breakfast, nice pool but a bit cold even in late July.

There are old rooms within the hotel without a functioning AC. It took some time for the staff to acknowledge and try to repair the very old AC, before having us move to one of the newer rooms. The restaurant was unfortunately only ok. The pasta dishes were yummy but the mains not so much.

Beautiful property overlooking the lake from the hill top. The walk down is steep but fine. I would recommend a taxi for the journey up though. The hotel were happy to assist us. Alternatively we used uber to order one from the town. Probably the best breakfast I’ve had in the 3 hotels we stayed in this trip. Lovely buffet selection and dishes made to order

The view was truly spectacular! The pool area was very big with a hot tub. The breakfast was great and the hotel room was very clean with a fabulous balcony. The two ladies on reception were also extremely friendly and helpful.

€20 in a taxi from Malcesine (but we knew that). Some bar staff weren’t the friendliest. Pool was very cold!
