Very nice quirky establishment with the best most welcoming landlady in the world. A bit difficult if you don’t speak Italian, but with modern technology even that is not a problem. Room spacious and very clean, so was the bathroom. The only downside- bathroom was outside the room, but was private and had the key. Vouchers for traditional Italian breakfast in the cafe across the rode and perfect location for exploring Matera. Would definitely recommend

Door for our room had sliding door that could not be locked from the outside which was a bit unusual

It was so exciting to meet Rossella and her welcome was a big surprise. She prepared for us light lunch with traditional products and wine and all was so tasty extraordinary ricotta and bread. The bed was very, very comfortable with lovely bathroom. The location is just 2 minutes walk from the Sassi di Matera. Highly recommended!

The host Rosella is a marvelous person. She is very caring and helpful. Highly recommend this place which is very centrally located

A mess in common aria, noisy people inside the house, "our bathroom" was on another floor and it was used also by other tourist, the housekeeper speak only italian, difficult to find a parking place.
