The house is in a perfect location, on top of Sassi di Matera but very close to parking locations. For us it was great having a baby and a pram. The room is simple but has everything you need and the price is fair. We were surprised that in the room there is a view on an underground cave that shows how people lived in the past, the glass is just next to the bed. Lovely surprise.

We liked everything about the place, host was wonderful, easy to contact, coordinate with and responded to all questions we asked. The room was beautiful and clean, amazing bathroom and shower. The kitchen was like the rest of the place EXCELLENT. Included breakfast was more then enough. We would definitely recommend this place. WE LOVED IT! Kobe said Hi!

Perfect lille place. The room was cool (naturally) as it was carved into the rock, our room had a view of the old seller that gave it a lot of character. Location is superb, just at the edge of the old town, no steps and can park the car on the adjacent roads. This is very helpful as Matera is a rock town and it is not easy to carry Luggage up and down.

A good, nicely renovated apartment with a well equipped, shared kitchen, looks quite typical for the city. Its location is really good and it has everything you need. A good value.

The breakfast is quite basic (but for this price is ok), check-in is remote and be aware that this type of apartments can be sometimes a bit noisy, as the stone transfers sound well for a longer distance.

The cave dwelling visible under the glass was my favorite part! I also loved having a kitchen, and the bathroom was so nice!!! The shower was a luxury shower. Also, everything was beautifully decorated.

No complaints! Maybe put a sign explaining the recycling and organic waste :).

This place was fabulous, I did not want to leave, the host was very helpful, the location was perfect, the room was spotless and I just loved how it was set up, with the arch ceiling. The shower was great, the added little extra 'floor surprise' in the room was perfect. You must stay here, you will not be disappointed at all. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Being an apartement in a cave it was very cool and we did not have to use airconditioning, whilst it was 38 *C outside. The breakfast, fruit, different foods and coffee he gifted us upon arrival was really of additional value and very nice.

There was one parking space in the streets next to the apartement (on the edge of the ZTL) and it fitted our small car, but larger cars might have trouble finding parking space.

Very central in Sassi area. Very stylish. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Better than any 5 star hotel!

Every thing. Super clean, well appointed and the situation was perfect for strolling around the the old city. A beautiful underground sassi.
