I loved the location, it was a short walk away from most places of interest. The rooms, beds and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The other guests staying were fantastic too! Their breakfast and bar was great, and all the events they did every evening were conducted well!

In my room, the AC wasn’t working properly and had eventually started leaking, causing a bit of a puddle mixed with all the dirt and mud brought in by the shoes. Moreover, the lockers cannot be locked properly, which is not great, as we want to keep our valuables locked. The worst part was that my luggage was too big for a small lockers, which is strange coz it was a normal international size suitcase and not exceptionally big. Something really needs to be done about the lockers.

It was my first experience at any hostel in my life! But this hostel is the best in the world I think ! And I’m very glad that I chose exactly this place. Everything is clean. All time you can eat something at the bar. Also you can drink any time you wish. There are so nice breakfast for so cheap price. You can close you box with luggage by the key. They are providing a big towel. There are so warm atmosphere ❤️ I don’t know how to explain but it is magic place. Everybody who is coming there is becoming to be kind and relaxed. I don’t how it’s working there but it is🫶✨. Every employee of this hostel is smiling to you and try to help you with the all your questions 👌. Barmen there is the best in the whole Milan🍹😎!!! Barmen is creating 80% of atmosphere there😎👌✨He is so friendly and open soul person ✨✨✨ Also there are party every day. But there is no noise in the room. The most friendly place of Milan !!!🫶

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! First of all, the location is amazing — very central, easy to reach both the city center and the train station. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the setup gave a real sense of personal space: each bed had a curtain, a personal lamp, and charging sockets. Everything was perfectly thought out for comfort. The showers were big and clean, and there were never any queues or issues. One of the things that really surprised me was that on the verandas, they always had free snacks, fruits, coffee, tea, and water available — it was such a nice touch! But what impressed me the most was the kitchen. It was incredibly spacious and, honestly, the cleanest hostel kitchen I have ever seen. They offered free pasta, pasta sauces, spices, vegetables, fruits, and sweets — you could easily cook a full meal without needing to buy anything. It really showed how much they care about their guests. Also, every evening they organized different activities — dinners, games, parties. The atmosphere was super friendly and welcoming. Overall, this place left the warmest impressions. I would highly recommend it!

The staff - everyone - were fabulous, really friendly, really helpful, totally inclusive, didn't bat an eyelid at a older person checking in to this predominantly younger person's hostel. The atmosphere in the communal area, great buzz, great bar/cafe on the ground floor. Coffee etc always available free, similarly simple but good food available - for free for residents (also a decent menu option available if you want to pay, good value as well). Superb location 10 minutes or less nice walk from the Duomo area. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Sheets were supplied anyway, towels on request. Washing facilities were slightly limited, one combined shower, washbasin and toilet in an 8 bed dorm; I had no problems but I imagine there must be a queue at busy times.. Great price. But back to the staff, superb. They all make this a great place to stay. Thank you.

Best hostel I have ever stayed in! Super friendly and helpful staff, perfect location - close to the main sights but still down a quiet street. Outstanding value with free food to cook with in the kitchen, free dinner, welcome drinks, free snacks, coffee, juice etc etc... Loads to do, guitars, piano, events, fussball, karaoke and more. Very social hostel, made some great friends but still felt I could have my own space if needed. Will definitely be in another Ostello Bello! 10/10 would recommend,

I really liked the staff, everyone was polite and ready to help I liked the renovation, it was comfortable and beautiful The kitchen and lounge area I liked the room, the bed was very comfortable, it was closed with a curtain, there was light and charging for devices

The only thing I didn't like and I would really like it not to happen is that they put a girl from the aggressor country (russia) in my room (6 beds). As a Ukrainian, I found it very uncomfortable to be around her. I hope that in the future they will pay more attention to this.

Great vibes; lovely staff; good social scene with locals and travellers. Range of ages and activities don’t feel too young. Felt very welcomed. Toiletries provided (makeup remover, body wash) and vanity to do makeup. Would 10/10 stay again. Lifts to get to rooms with luggage. Large lockers in rooms. Fits large suitcase and bag. Pretty close to everything.

No extraction fan in bathroom. But honestly that was my only negative.

The staff were absolutely fantastic — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was check-in, local tips, or just a quick chat, they made the place feel like home. The location couldn’t be better. It’s centrally located with easy access to public transport, major attractions, cafes, and supermarkets. I could walk to most places, which saved time and money. The common areas were cozy and perfect for relaxing or socializing. Free coffee, water, books were available all day, which was a lovely touch! The coffee was surprisingly good and the hydration station was always clean and stocked. Highly recommend this hostel if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and a great social atmosphere!

The rooms were spotless, and each bed had a privacy curtain, which made it even more comfortable. The dorms were also very clean. The staff were incredibly helpful, and it’s located on a very cute street that leads directly to the main road. Very close to the Duomo. We were welcomed with a free welcome drink, which I thought was a really sweet gesture. I had booked with breakfast included, and it was quite good. There’s a coffee machine in the common area with various options, all free of charge, and water is also available for free. The kitchen is open and available for use. They have different events every evening. The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was large and airy. There were power outlets everywhere. This was the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Europe. If I go again, I’ll definitely stay here. Thank you very much for everything.

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The bathroom was very nice, and there’s a comfortable common area to hang out and meet other travelers, which makes it a great option for people staying in Milan for a longer time and looking to socialize. However, I did run into an issue during the night I stayed. The hotel uses a smart key system, and some guests arrived around 2–3 AM but had trouble getting into the room. As a result, there was quite a bit of noise in the middle of the night, which disrupted my sleep. I’d suggest the owner double-check that the smart keys are fully functional to avoid this issue in the future. That said, if you’re not a light sleeper, you’ll probably enjoy your stay here.
