This Hotel is in a great location: 10 min to Duomo, 10 min to Train Station to Airport, 10 min to the Castle The single room was small but if you walk all day and go to your room only to sleep, then this room fulfills its purpose The breakfast was the same each day, but it was more then enough to satisfy your hunger Overall for the price this Hotel offers I can definitely recommend it for people who travels on the budget

The audibility between rooms is horrible - you can hear everything what's going on in the neighboring rooms and in the corridors The facilities (especially shower) are old and a bit shabby (but the shower is equipped with a hair dryer, so it balances the drawbacks ;) The room is cold and dampy but it can be fixed with an air conditioner set to a heating

Really good location in Milan, a short walk from the Duomo, Castello Sforzesco and Cadorna metro station so it made getting around the city really easy. Check-in was simple and my room and en-suite were a good size. Staff were friendly and willing to help, and I was able to check in earlier than expected and after check out I was able to leave my bag safely in the hotel to collect just before my flight that evening. Had all the basics I needed for one night, so I would definitely recommend for a short trip.

I couldn’t find any standard EU plug sockets so couldn’t use my adapter to charge anything - luckily I had a portable charger so this wasn’t really an issue. I don’t know if I just wasn’t looking properly, but all I could find were sockets of an older design which my adapter didn’t fit! Again, not really an issue and I’m sure if I’d done my research properly I would’ve been prepared for this. The price was also a lot more than I would usually let myself spend on one night, but for the location I could convince myself it was reasonable, however I don’t think I would spend as much per night at this hotel again.

The location is perfect: it will take you 10-15 minutes walk to almost all tourist attractions. The staff was nice, welcoming and helpful. My room was cleaned every day, the towels were new and fresh, though I had stayed only for 3 nights. I had an air conditioner in the single room, which was very helpful. The breakfast was very nice, the smell of fresh hot croissants was amazing!!!And free wifi was very fast.

The water was hot in the evening, so it was a bit challenging to take a shower. Maybe because it was very hot outside, or because all guests decided to take shower during the evening hours)))Sometimes the shower was clogged, but the water went away very quickly.

Very friendly staff from morning to evening. Quiet room. Located in walking distance to the all the major sites and shops in the city centre and also to several metro stations. The breakfast offered a variety of savory and sweet food, fruits, and drinks (continental breakfast).

The blankets of the bed were thin, so that I needed to use three of them to feel warm as the nights were relatively cold during my stay.

Two people, two comfortable beds. Walkable to main area of interest for Milan. There was no lift which was fine for me but travel partner overpacked and had struggles.

The hotel is located in the historical center of Milan, a stone's throw from all important monuments, restaurants and entertainment venues. It is very easy to return to the hotel from the historical center by walk even at late hours. During my stay I also noticed that the hotel was very quiet, which is a really important feature for me. The breakfast included in the price is extremely satisfactory and most importantly, the entire team at the hotel, from the reception to the cleaning and the kitchen, is extremely friendly and helpful. I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city with easy access to everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my stay very pleasant. My room was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness was impressive. The addition of an iron in the room was a perfect touch, making it easy to stay polished on the go. Overall, a great experience that I would highly recommend!

Yes, it's old, and small, and on a busy street, and as a last minute booking during a period when Milan's hotels were booked out for Design Week, it raised few expectations. But it's a gem: lovely staff - really lovely staff, especially the Receptionist and the elderly gent managing the breakfast room with tremendous precision - small rooms but with everything needed, spotless bathroom with excellent shower... I greatly enjoyed my stay because the Vecchia Milano has a good vibe, a gentle ambiance and atmosphere. It has a good location, close to bus, tram and metro links, and walking distance to the great sights of Milano like the Duomo, the Galleria, the Novocento and Palazzo Reale and the Triennale.

Go carefully when you step out on to the street - scooters come flying through and there's no sidewalk.
