Room was on top floor, rather small but super modern and comfortable and enough for 2 people with carry on luggage. Good size, modern bathroom, lovely rooftop views from the bathroom window. Absolutely loved the breakfast, location in walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Very grateful for letting us check in an hour early after arriving from California on a long flight. That gave us a chance to take a nap and dive right into Milan on the day of arrival.

Not sure if it is a dislike, but despite the great insulated windows and top floor, you can still hear street noise. But that is also a beauty of the location - there is a park right next to the hotel where young people gather in the evening - you can hear the buzz of voices until late. But again - it's only a downside if you are tired, otherwise it's very comforting.

Love how helpful the staff are to my sad situation (Air France lost my check-in luggage at CDG Airport in Paris when it should have flown with me to MXP Airport), so the staff was ok with my request on holding on to my lugguage if it ever got delivered to them by Lost & Found Office from MXP Airport. Since I don't have anything (not even clothes to change nor cell phone charger), the staff lent me a plug-in charger so I can at least charge my iPhone 15 LOL I'm forever grateful for the staff lady's kindness! I'm forever Hotel Mentana's fan! I'll definitely comeback in the near future! The bed is firm and comfy, the room is a good size, the shower is a bit small but it's for one person anyway, so it's all good!

Good location close to shops and sights. 10 minutes walk to two metro stops, 10 min walk to Duomo.

Room was clean but the cleaning soap they used smelled bad, at first I thought there is a bad smell or leak in the room until I realized that’s the sheets. A bit overpriced for the room size and amenities.

The location is excellent, very close to restaurants and shops.. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.. Tried their best to fulfill all our needs.. Also, after checkout, my sister forgot some of her items in the room, they asked us to call the next day and when we called we found out that they kept everything in the safety box at the reception all kept in a nice hotel bag.. Again, the staff were amazing and super friendly! I highly recommend this hotel!

The room was small and had a lot of corners, so was the bathroom.. The cleaning lady didn’t refill some of the items in the room..

Very clean - very good service - helpful and friendly staff - excellent breakfasts.

The beds were comfortable but the pillows and mattress were very firm. I prefer a softer mattress and pillows. Also the bedclothes were very starched There was a strange smell in the room which cleared when we opened the window but came back when it was closed. The starch perhaps?

Hotel Mentana has an excellent location at walking distance from Il Duomo. My stay was short and I had business meetings most of the time, yet, thanks to the location of the hotel, I managed to catch a glimpse of Milan. Would gladly come back. My room was clean and bed was very comfortable.

The only thing that bothered me a little was the choice of food on offer for breakfast. As a person who cannot have a sweet breakfast, I would appreciate one more egg option, apart from hard boiled ones. Excellent coffee, though!

It's a bit small for one-person, but since everything works well I can overlook the small space LOL Location wise it's walking distance to the galleria + Milan Cathedral, so I can't complain! This hotel is located at a good/safe neighborhood according to my friend who lives in Milan for years...so walking around at night is fine! Again, staff are fantastic and friendly!

Absolutely respects its 4 stars. Clean room with everything you need, nice welcoming cookies, friendly staff, super soft towels and robes. I couldn’t take my breakfast due to early departure, and I was offered a good food package instead exactly at the time I requested.

Better to replace hairdryer to a new one. This current one is awful.

Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location was ideal in a quiet area within walking distance to the main attractions, great restaurants and shopping. The hotel breakfast was fresh and sufficient for the start of the day. The staff at the hotel were just fabulous, polite, friendly and extremely focused on the customer.

Everything was great at the hotel - the only slight thing was that the air con controls didn’t seem to work, so the air was pumping out 24 degree heat. We couldn’t turn it down and it was so hot when we travelled anyway, so could have done with it being cooler in the room.
