Exactly as pictured, room is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. USB and wall plugs available on either side of the beds which is excellent for charging phones. Great location, easy to access metro and trams, or ~1 hour casual walk to major attractions like the Palace and the Duomo. Very nice view from the balcony, and on Saturday while we were there, a street market was happening right outside the doors which was a wonderful surprise. Some very nice bars, resturants and cafes also walking distance nearby. Staff very helpful and easy to contact (very quick reply via whatsapp) and the check in/ check out process was very smooth thanks to them.

The shower does not drain quickly, so be careful not to take excessive showers as the water may spill onto the floor. Street noise is a little loud, but with some ear plugs I slept very well.

The location is great. There is a 1 min walk to a large supermarket and a 5 min walk to the underground train station. The room space is quite large and the price is competitive compared with nearby hotels. The self checkin process is easy and the host gives well instructions.

There are some issues that may not blame the host, such as the old building, the noisy upstairs neighbors, and the weekly traditional market on the street. Specifically, the building is so old that the water that comes out of the faucet is yellow that is dirty and may not be drinkable. You can experience loud noise from upstairs almost every night. And the portable marker seems to be two times a week that may interrupt your sleep in the early morning.

It is very clean and you can tell when you get into the bathroom, they definitely wipe and polish the tape are, more clean than my own home. About 6mins walk from metro, no problem with self check in as we got there late at 10pm. Friendliest and most human WhatsApp chat with emoji in respond etc. There is a supermarket a couple of mins walk away, there was a street market right outside when we stayed. We stayed with a 3 years old who sleep between us, the staff did offer cot as soon as they hear we have a 3 years old. They also have luggage storage with PIN code access, we stored ours for a couple of hours before next location for free.

It is a budget accommodation, so it has no coffee machine. a few steps to get up to the lift, like other places we stayed in Italy, lift is small, but I am glad there is one.

The location was close to a metro line so it was easy to travel to multiple places. Bus and tram stations are also not far away. Around 5 minute walk. There's a supermarket, again around 5 minute walk. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a Smart TV, kettle for water, place to put our clothes ( there's no closet, but there are shelves and hangers), table and mini fridge. The bathroom was clean and looked really good. There was a shower cabin, plenty of clean towels and a sink with enough distance to keep cosmetics and makeup on. They also gave us small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. They cleaned our room I think about once in two days.

The room was very clean and modern - just like the pictures. The location is only a short walk from a train station which you can travel to malpensa from as well as a metro station which connects you to the city - places like duomo. On Tuesdays there’s markets on the street outside but they didn’t wake us up on the 6th floor. The staff are very friendly and very willing to help out.

When checking in, we weren’t given a lot of information. For example, our room was in a different building to the place we checked in meaning we spent time looking for our apartment in the check in building. If the person checking us in gave us proper instructions of where to go next, then we would have saved 30 minutes. As well as that, when we did find our accommodation, we struggled to open the door as there was no instruction on how to use the lock, which is slightly different from UK locks - although it is probably common sense and we were being silly.

I don't know what to say about Star Ribon since I was not accommodated in the room I had booked (I was accommodated in Sun Ribon) and this was done without any notification from the owner. The room was generally clean, generally good comfort and easily accessible via public transport. The staff responded well despite giving incorrect instructions for leaving the luggage on the day of departure.

Change of room without notice. Lack of facilities (having an ironing board but not a suitable connection to an electrical outlet). There were utensils for cooking but no solution to wash them. Windows with one glass, which made the entry of noises inside.

Nice apartment, clean and spacious. Nicely equipped kitchen. Great communication. I would recommend this place if you are not sensitive to the noise.

1) It’s quite noisy at night, impossible to sleep without earplugs as we could hear neighbors very clearly. Also, there is a big street market right outside the bedroom window, loud noises from there till midnight. 2) Would be great to have some basics for kitchen like salt and oil, we had to buy everything to cook at home. 3) The charging socket for cattle didn’t fit, it was too thick for the socket. We found only one socket in the apartment that can fit the cattle one to make tea.

The place was clean and spacious as well. I liked that there was a large supermarket nearby, and I think there were local markets set up on Saturdays. The neighbourhood was calm and pleasant, which I appreciated — especially since it was also close to San Siro, for the football match.

I didn’t really have any major negative points — which is also reflected in the score I gave. Maybe just a small thing: we had some trouble opening the front door of the apartment.

A map to find the office would be really helpful as it’s not that clear how to find your way into the property.

There were no cups in the room to make tea and coffee. Door codes could have been messaged instead of having to collect them from an office. Some information in the rooms would be helpful eg local pharmacy, taxi number etc. I would also warn people that the property is not suitable for wheelchair users if you do not already say. The lift is way to small to accommodate a wheelchair.

The apartment is ideally situated; only a 6-7 minute walk to the Metro (Gerusalemme station), 5 minute walk to a well stocked supermarket. A small misunderstanding when arriving at the property but we soon figured it out and found the correct apartment. Disappointed that we weren't able to access the roof terrace as this has been one of the main draws for us when making the decision to book, but over-all the apartment was clean, comfy and very well presented. An ideal base if you're planning site seeing tours around the city centre. Nice to wake up to a street market under our window on the Tuesday morning. A lively a bustling part of the neighbourhood, which was clean and felt safe. Easiest and cheapest way to travel is definitely the Metro - will most certainly be returning to Milan to see all the attractions we missed the first time and hope to stay here again. Highly recommended.
