The location is very very good 👍 as there are so many shops, Supper makers, eateries and restaurants around. It is about 5 minutes walk to the central train station as I was able to use the train to travel to Rome and back same day which is about 3 hours journey for one way. The hotel is also 2 minutes away from the Metro Lines, bus stations as well as Airport Bus Shuttle right opposite the Central train station for €5 per person and less than 20 minutes to the airport. The breakfast was also good and the staff are nice and helpful. The hotel is very clean including the rooms.

My room was small and a bit of mosquitoes in the room.

The staff were fantastic, the room was comfortable with cold AC, the location was across the street from the Garibaldi train station with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby.

People online complain about the area not being safe. I did not fear for safety and as long as a person is not flashing cash or being careless, I feel it was fine and question whether this alleged "fear/safety issue" has actual merit or if it was because of a more diversified population of different skin tones. The police station is literally IN the neighborhood and there are officers on patrol in the area. The online complaints made me more nervous than the actual area ever did in real life.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very comfortable hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Be aware though as there is no lift, just a spiral staircase. We managed ok but may be hard for others. Very close to main rail station and many shops & restaurants nearby. We went for a long walk and found the streets nearby were very dirty and many dodgy people, not nice and we felt uncomfortable. The traffic in Naples is crazy,, no rules. Be careful crossing the roads even on pedestrian crossings as they don’t stop! Naples was an experience for sure! We will not be returning.

Stairs - I wasn't informed that there was no lift until a week before arrival. Multiple marble steps in a spiral made it difficult to get my bags upstairs. The nice young early morning desk clerk helped me carry them back down. There is also a step up to the bathroom which is kind of dangerous for those midnight trips. I do not like beds with heavy duvets and no separate top sheet because I get hot while sleeping. A separate sheet would alleviate that

All the Staff were very helpful ,but all special shout out to Frederica who went beyond and above to make my stay relaxing & enjoyable. The room was comfortable but unfortunately for me the Air Conditioning just didn't get cold enough so the nights were uncomfortable. Frederica tried to assist me but for me it was just too hot. The location to the station and airport bus was fantastic, very easy commute to Pompei, Herculaneum and the metro. A few good restaurants around too.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Ravi—he's a true gentleman with great suggestions. A really nice guy! The train station is conveniently located just across the street, making it easy to visit Pompeii and Sorrento.

The breakfast was disappointing. There was no fresh fruit or vegetables available—something as simple as tomato slices would have been appreciated, along with a selection of fruits. The options were quite basic, consisting of coffee, cheese, ham, salami, scrambled eggs, frankfurters, crackers, and two types of croissants.

The room was big enough, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious although the selection was pretty limited, but for a shorter stay is enough. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the Piazza Garibaldi station, this is the best place if you want to travel by metro or train in or out the city.

We got a room with street view what was very noisy.

Super close to train station, metro station, and pick up spot for tours. Room spacious, we had a private balcony. Coffee machine in the room which was a plus.

Toilet would randomly run all the time. Lots of sketchy people outside train station, would not have felt safe leaving hotel at night if I wasn't with my husband. About a 20 minute walk to the safer, more touristy part of town. Overall, Naples was the most unsafe town we visited. However, if you are mindful and keep your head on a swivel, you'll be fine.

Ideal Boutique occupies a great location, just across the street from Napoli Centrale station, within Piazza Garibaldi. Loved the large hotel room that included a dresser with large drawers and a large wardrobe but still had unoccupied space to fully open a large suitcase on the floor. Superb, firm, comfortable mattress. A refrigerator with freezer in the room. WiFi worked really well as did the air conditioning. Breakfast on the first floor was okay. A small grocery is about a block away, and Ristorante E Vicchiarelle is a must-visit on Piazza Garibaldi, just steps from the hotel. The grilled chicken along with sides of zucchini and of grilled peppers and eggplant parmigiana were amazingly tasty.

A negative was the discovery of a few ants in the room and a minor dirty spot on a pillowcase. Not sure whether this is representative or simply a one-off: life happens, creatures find their way into most residences and perfection is a rarity. I did report to the receptionist, on the morning of my departure, the discovery of where ants were entering the bathroom through a hole, and she did report this to hotel management, which is what I would want as a response. Had I been staying more than 36 hours I'd have requested a new room, but this was a quick stay and I was out of the room for much of it.

Great location across from the train station. Very good value for money

The only criticism I would make is that the rooms are not very sound proof. I could heard the man on the telephone until 11pm from the next room. Consider adding draught excluders to bottom of doors?
