The location is perfect for exploring the old town and then taking a train from Napoli Centrale to travel down south. The hotel has an old world, first half of 20th century charm. The room was spacious with incredibly high ceiling. The hotel is well maintained, the room and bathroom are fitted and furnished to a good standard and clean.

The online check-in didn't quite work as I expected. Having provided all details online, I expected to be just handed over the key to the room on arrival but we actually went through a normal check-in process.

Our family needed a hotel for a night in Naples. We were coming in from Florence, by train with plans to visit Pompeii in the afternoon. Some of our party was headed home the next day, while others were headed to Amalfi. The location right by the train station allowed us to drop off our bags and take the train to Pompeii from the Garabaldi/Napoli Centrale across the street. The next day, when some of us were headed back to the US, the AliBus with direct service to the airport could be accessed literally 100 feet from the hotel front door. It was incredibly convenient. The hotel was clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. Our bags were stored and retrieved safely. The quietness of the rooms seemed to vary a bit by location. My room (with our boys) was off the street toward Garabaldi Piazza, so ours was fairly quiet. My wife and daughter's room bordered a street and they had some road noise, but still slept fairly well. The staff was courteous and spoke English well, though the accent in Napoli was a bit harder to understand than in northern parts of Italy, at least for an American. We did not try the restaurant or bar, so I can't speak to their quality. The value we got for the rooms was probably more than we paid for them.

As I said, the rooms varied in noise level depending on location. Bt that was to be expected. You're in the middle of Naples and right by the train station.

This hotel is directly opposite Napoli Centrale station. The area is not the best but as I was using Naples as a base, it was a convenient location for me as I used the trains a lot. Also handy for Alibus which picks up and drops off outside the station for transport to and from the airport. There are also many restaurants and shops just outside the hotel, so no problem looking for anywhere to eat and drink. My room was a good size, air-conditioned, with a comfy bed and good shower. No problems with Internet connection. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was kept very clean with attention given to recycling waste. There are two lifts to the upper floors. The breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, sausage etc plus cereals, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses, salads. A nice selection of cakes too. I was very impressed with the standard of this hotel and I would have no problem recommending it to others. I would stay here again.

There is some noise from the street but given the location of the hotel this is to be expected. It didn't particularly bother me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay at Starhotels Terminus in Naples! It was across the street from the train station which was very convenient since we had several bags. The hotel was beautiful; our rooms were cozy, guest-friendly and comfortable. It was clean and fresh, the lobby was lovely and the drinks and dessert from the lobby bar were delicious. We chose not to eat at the hotel to take advantage of the cuisine in the neighborhoods. We chose rooms with a view of the Vesuvius, which was breath-taking. The hotel is in a very busy part of the city so there was a lot of hustle and bustle outside of our rooms which we did not mind at all! We slept well and were rested for our next adventure. We were able to walk to nearby attractions very easily. Although the staff were not the friendliest toward us, we would return. When we first arrived, the desk clerk asked if we had a reservation. There was no warm greeting, which is much different than our experiences in Paris and Barcelona. When I asked another clerk about the door in my room, he seemed annoyed that I had not understood the functionality of the door - the top leaned inward to act as a window to allow fresh air into the space. This was really cool, I just had not seen that before. One clerk was helpful with arranging our day tour with a private drive to the Amalfi Coast. We appreciated their assistance. The four of us had a fantastic time in Naples. We recommend Starhotels and would return to their establishment.

Location and front off staff. location right opposite the main train station. Just outside the hotel is the pick up point for many local tours. Front off staff were friendly, speaks good English and helpful. Room size very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Surprised you can ask for change of pillows as they offer a menu of pillow types.

Breakfast somewhat limited. Americano coffee and tea available for self service. Other coffee options, eg Cuppuccino, expresso, etc had to be ordered through the service staff who either are very forgetful or we are not too welcomed as we had to see other tables receiving their ordered coffee while we had to remind them about our orders several times each day.

We loved the location of the Star Terminus Hotel in Napoli. It was easy to take the Alibus for 5 euros (have euros as as Alibus ticket machine was broken and it really holds up the line for the driver to make change) from the Napoli Airport to the hotel as it drops off right across the street from the hotel. Our room was nice with a view of Mt Vesuvius. It was a small room but big enough for 2 people. It was noisy during the day with car horns honking but we were always out of the room during the day. The staff were helpful and there is an ATM machine outside the hotel. The breakfast was amazing in a very nice dining room. It was a full buffet with everything we could have wanted. There is a whole block of restaurants right next to the hotel. We ate at 3 of them. They were reasonably priced and their food was good. Our favorite was I Sapori de Parthenopeehere where you could watch them bake your pizza in a wood burning oven. We also got an amazing sfogliatella from the beautiful bakery (Cuori di Sfogliatello) next door. I highly recommend this hotel.

Larger room for price.

Perfectly located right across from Roma Termini stazione, especially when you have an early morning train to catch. Interior of hotel was a refreshing oasis away from the surrounding environs of a train station. Furnishings, while a little dated, was still well-maintained and in good working order. Nice high ceiling rooms, albeit a little tight for 3 single beds. Breakfast provided in take-out brown bags were a very nice touch, although the apples provided were not fit for consumption.

Location across from the train station was ideal. Literally walk across the street. Despite being so close to the train station, I was able to sleep well (i.e., noise was not an issue for my room). For 20 Euro extra I could have checked in early had I waited another hour, but I had timed tickets elsewhere that I needed to leave immediately for. They graciously held my bags until I returned later in the day.

The only thing I didn't like about my room was the work desk they provided was placed in a dark corner with no lighting.

One of the main reasons I chose this place is because many tour buses stop here before heading out on their tours, which was a big plus for me.

Perfect location, with a direct Alibus connection from the airport to Piazza Garibaldi. Some reviewers mentioned noise, but I completely disagree — the windows are excellently soundproofed, making the stay very comfortable, and the transport connections to every part of the city are ideal. Very friendly and helpful staff, with excellent communication and the convenient option to leave your luggage in case of a late flight. Delicious breakfasts, everything fresh and of very high quality. Rooms are clean, spacious, and very well equipped. This hotel is truly worth recommending, and I consider myself a demanding guest.
