The location is perfect for exploring the old town and then taking a train from Napoli Centrale to travel down south. The hotel has an old world, first half of 20th century charm. The room was spacious with incredibly high ceiling. The hotel is well maintained, the room and bathroom are fitted and furnished to a good standard and clean.

The online check-in didn't quite work as I expected. Having provided all details online, I expected to be just handed over the key to the room on arrival but we actually went through a normal check-in process.

Location across from the train station was ideal. Literally walk across the street. Despite being so close to the train station, I was able to sleep well (i.e., noise was not an issue for my room). For 20 Euro extra I could have checked in early had I waited another hour, but I had timed tickets elsewhere that I needed to leave immediately for. They graciously held my bags until I returned later in the day.

The only thing I didn't like about my room was the work desk they provided was placed in a dark corner with no lighting.

Perfect location, with a direct Alibus connection from the airport to Piazza Garibaldi. Some reviewers mentioned noise, but I completely disagree — the windows are excellently soundproofed, making the stay very comfortable, and the transport connections to every part of the city are ideal. Very friendly and helpful staff, with excellent communication and the convenient option to leave your luggage in case of a late flight. Delicious breakfasts, everything fresh and of very high quality. Rooms are clean, spacious, and very well equipped. This hotel is truly worth recommending, and I consider myself a demanding guest.

Right near the central station which was great for us with luggage! Garibaldi station is right at the doorstep of the hotel which was perfect for our day trip to Pompeii and getting into the city centre. Facilities and staff were great, with staff taking our luggage up to our room and storing it for us at checkout free of charge. Definitely more high end which was evident in all aspects, would highly recommend!

Only downside to our stay was the heating was WAY too hot and the aircon didn’t work. We resorted to opening our balcony door to combat this, however this opened onto busy traffic who were heavy handed on their horns :/ other than this though everything was great!

I love the following about the property:- 1. Location - near the Metro and train station, restaurants, convenience stores, bakeries, etc 2. The toiletries provided don’t leave your skin dry. 3. Shower is really nice - water pressure and water temperature is perfect 4. Cupboard has enough hangers for 2 people. 5. Bed is comfortable and 2 pillows per person is provided.

I didn’t like the size of the shower stall… it’s puny. If you are taller than 156cm and weigh more than 65kg, you will find it very challenging to shower in the stall

Amazing location, right across from the Napoli Train station. Mostly a clean location, there was some questionable things in the sheets but overall a clean hotel. Convenient for the purpose of our stay. Make sure you go up to the 7th floor for the rooftop. Great views! It was a little tricky to find our way up but worth it for this view point! Also there’s a great little pizza shop around the corner!

Room was a bit small. 3 of us sleeping here and it was very tight space. But we only slept here, spent the days exploring, so it’s fine for the purpose of our trip. Front desk staff called the room at 10:30pm when we were about to sleep, to ask us to come down to rescan a passport we had already given them.

The receptionists (Vittorio and another guy) were great! They both spoke very good English (finally after 6 days in Italy they were the first that we managed to communicate!) The guys at the parking were very helpful since we had to pick up the car at 3:00 in the morning and they arranged to open the garage just for us. The room was spacious, super clean and they had an extra very cute detail for our kids! Even the location is very very busy during day time, we had a very relaxing and quiet sleep. I wish we had stayed longer!!!

The location is exactly oposite Piazza Garibaldi (central station), so very convenient if you are using the train etc but you must be really really carefull when/if walking around after sunset... It is really dodgy. We actually didnt dare to walk out with the kids.

The hotel was in an excellent location adjacent to the main train station and metro station. It was easy to walk into the old town and get tours from the hotel. The room was large, comfortable and the shower was very powerful. There was a kettle and mini fridge. Our room had a big balcony allowing us to observe the manic traffic! The bed was really comfortable with a choice of pillows and the air con worked we.

The breakfast was OK but a lot of money for what you got. Plenty of it though. There was nothing wrong with the room and we were able to leave our bags on the day of check in /checkout.

The hotel itself is great value for money. Very comfortable, clean, breakfast selection is terrific and very well located. Wifi works brilliantly, sky movie channels in English, tea and coffee making in room - more places in Italy should have that.

The staff! With the exception of one girl in the restaurant and one concierge, the rest of the staff are either miserable or rude. Every single person on the front desk looks like their faces would crack if they smiled - I've never seen such a collection of miserable people in my life - it's called HOSPITALITY for a reason. Housekeeping walked straight into our room on two consecutive days and if you asked for a cappuccino in the restaurant the reaction was like asking them to donate a kidney. Soundproofing isn't great, this is an extremely busy part of Naples and car horns and sirens are still clearly heard with doors closed and locked.

I truly love this hotel. I’ve stayed a couple of times in the past over the years because it was clean, safe, pleasant, and perfectly located right next to both the train station and the main, extremely useful subway line. But since I was last there, the hotel seems to have had a serious upgrade of its decor and gorgeous marble baths. My guess is that with the makeover of the train station itself, and the opening of a slick shopping mall underground, lots more people have realized what a great location the hotel has and the owners have responded appropriately. It’s significantly more expensive than it used to be, but the value is even greater because everything about the place has been so tastefully upgraded.

Only ONE thing really bugged me. The electronic room keys never, ever, worked quickly, as they should. I even got a fresh key, but it was as bad and tedious as the first one. I was invariably angry by the time the door finally deigned to open.
