The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfy. The AC worked well, and quickly. We left the AC unit powered off when we were out during the day, and only turned it on when we came back in the evenings. No issue cooling down the room pretty quickly. Towels were changed every other day, and the location is near the metro, grocery stores and lots of restaurants and cafes. Definitely would come back here if ever in Naples again.

This is typical of any place we stayed at in Italy, but do not leave soap bars lying around the bathroom sink or they will be removed when the room is being cleaned. I prefer a specific soap brand because I have sensitive skin, and both here and another hotel in Rome would throw out my soap bar if I forgot to pack it away and left it in the bathroom. It wasn't expensive soap at all, and I could buy more at the grocery stores in Italy, just a hassle when I forgot to pack it away.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. I'd arrived in the evening so wasn't sure exactly where I was, but in the morning discovered that the Santa Chiara cloisters were literally behind the wall opposite the hotel, Spaccanapoli was around the corner, Piazza Bellini was a short walk up the same street - and all the other main sights were so close too! The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, but within walking distance of the Spanish quarter, Piazza Plebiscito and the port for ferries tothe Amalfi Coast. Vincenzo was a lovely host and the room had everything I needed for a short city break - the bed was comfortable, there was AC and a ceiling fan, a mini fridge and safe, and the bathroom was modern with a big walk in shower.

Room size is OK, the location is perfect - right in the city centre and close to most attractions, restaurants, bars, shops etc. There are power outlets near each side of the bed, together with bed lamps and nighstands.

Sometimes there is noise either from the street or from the neighbouring rooms (the walls are very thin). The light in the room was poor, since its windows are on a side road which doesn't get natural direct sunlight.

When I decided to visit Naples for the first time last year, the Heavens itself guided me to make a reservation in Hotel Meublè Santa Chiara Suite. After that first staying in the Hotel, I’ve already considered landlord Vincenzo and landlady Maddalena as my friends. This year I’ve visited Naples for the second time, and the feeling was as if I came home. That is the way I was hosted. I’ve never experienced better hospitality on any of my travellings: such spontaneity, good mood and problem solvation along the way. This time I’ve took somewhat wider room, but even the last-year’s wasn’t bad. The bed is more than comfortable. The reservation included a small fridge in the room. Internet is working perfectly and fast. Hot water is perpetual. The rooms are tiding literally every day before noon; sheets and towels every third day. Professional personnel, and professional hotelier services. Not to mention that the Hotel is situated amidst the old city centre and everything is in a few minutes walking: museums, churches, bookshops, souvenirs, main railway station and metro. One thing is certain – when I am to visit Naples next time, my reservation will be at the Hotel Meublè Santa Chiara Suite and nowhere else.

That I couldn't stay longer

For someone travelling alone that was perfect. Everything was clean and comfortable. There was a TV I didnt really use, the bed was large and comfortable; the bathroom fully equiped; climatization and wifi worked well. Very calm. No issue during my trip and nothing to complain about. The neighbourhood was situated in the center of Naples from where I could easily reach most of the monuments and famous places of the city. I enjoyed it.

Perfect location in the heart of Napoli. There are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby and it's easy to get everywhere in the city. The neighborhood is lively, it can get a bit noisy at night, yet no problem for sleeping. The staff is very welcoming and happy to help. Rooms are basic, but comfortable and very clean. I'll come back here when I will be in Napoli again.

Very knowledgeable and friendly host, Vincenzo. Keen to recommend the good food around the estate and also tips and tricks to get around the city. He was very patient in showing me how to access my room when I faced issue working with the keys. Problem solved in an instant!

Corridors and staircases were a bit dark but we can get used to it.

Excellent location, close to the action of the old quarter yet also just off the main strip in a nice and quiet spot. The bedroom was quiet and dark with a comfy bed. I slept very well.

The shower drain could do with a bit of a clean. But otherwise the place was great.

Host Vincenzo was very helpful and responsive. He gave us tips for local attractions etc and helped book our taxi to the train station. Was very willing and open to responding outside of reception hours. Location is central and walkable to main areas in Naples.

Not really too much of a negative about the accommodation but something to keep in mind for travellers- there are 4 flights of stairs to reach the accommodation so keep this in mind if you are travelling with heavy luggage.

Hotel with this price range - it had all what you can hope for and more. Usual criticism what I read from here are mostly things what are impossible to achieve. Like it has to be at the center of the city, but same time quiet at night or there would be good if it's cheap, but with 24 hour open desks etc. You can get one thing or second thing, but not both. Eventually everything is compromise at this hotel were all the compromises in right spots what really matters and not "good to have" places. Will definitely recommend if you want to have good price, clean hotel at the center of the city.
