A nice establishment pretty close to St. Antony's and in the walking distance to the other sites of Padua (local bus no. 6 to the Railway station is very close, the tram is not far). The staff is very professional, helpful and thoughtful, breakfast was very good. Although not exactly modern, the hotel is very clean (one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in Italy).

My room was next to the corridor and the elevator, therefore noisy. As the window was close to that of the corridor, it was not dark enough to sleep comfortably. That would normally be solved with blinds, though the air-condition was not in a good shape and my window had to stay open in a rather hot room. The staff was dealing with it in a very professional manner.

The hotel is a classic example of old-school excellence — featuring a professional, extremely helpful staff and the charming ambience of traditional Italian hospitality. The team was exceptionally polite, professional, and attentive. The room was spotless, spacious, and filled with natural light. The location is perfect — in a quiet neighborhood just a 10-minute walk from the city center. Underground parking is also available.

Breakfast could be improved with a greater variety of options, and the sound insulation of the room could also be better.

We stayed for 4 days. Breakfast was good, but the same all 4 days. Since we wanted to visit St Antony's church, hotel was very nearby church in a walkable distance. And we could travel to Venice from here by train, walked to Padova train station and took train to Venice.Venice is just We used app to order food to the room. We benefited from the car park which was nearby, safe and secure parking. Room was spacious for us, 2 adults and 2 kids. There was 4 beds for us in room.

We visited Padova to attend the scientific conference. Hotel staff was very friendly. They were so polite. On our first day, staff discussed to get a idea of the city, public transport and supermarket. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was asking for choices of coffee at the breakfast , it was amazing. Location of the hotel was very nice. There are many restaurants available at walking distance. We visited some Italian restaurants. Nearby PAM supermarket was at walking distance. One Indian restaurant Shiva Indian Takeaway) is also nearby for take away food. One can also order online food from them. The food was amazing with reasonable price. The conference venue was easily reachable from the hotel. City center was also at walking distance. Main bus stop of the Padova city is nearby and reachable by bus. Kiosk shop to buy day tickets for buses was close to hotel venue.

In my point of view as per the price of the hotel, the bathroom is small in size. It would have nicer if the bathroom was bigger. Otherwise cleaning was great in the room as well as in the bathroom. Everyday room and bathroom was cleaned.

Great location, very close to the center of the city. Rooms were clean, and the staff was helpful.

Parking might be a problem. There are two options: 1. Park outside on the street, on public parking spots (2 eur/h). Have in mind that it might happen that there are no spots available (I saw cars circling around looking for open spots in the morning). 2. Park in the garage that is a few minutes away (receptionist provides the key), but that is also paid extra. I think it was 15 eur/day, but please correct me if you have more valid info.

The warmth reception from the young man at the reception hall on my arrival and the smiles. Their patience because the train was delayed which affected my arrival time. The entire staff were kind, the facility is also good. The hotel is near to the road and also close to the Basilica of St Anthony. I encourage guests to use Hotel Igea. The only problem is that I forgot my new headset in the room and I don't know how to recover it again. This broke my heart.

The pillow is flat.

This hotel's greatest gems are in its staff. The Reception Team - all friendly. They helped me navigate the whole city on foot or by bus. After 2 days, I have already have an idea where the tourist are. With that I discovered small streets that made me feel I am having an afternoon walk in the medieval times. (Special mention to the reception staff who made me a cappucino on my first day upon I had a long day. Much appreciated.) The breakfast is basic but that is okay. It is worth saying that you get to make your own breakfast everyday by "boiling" your own (dairy) eggs according to your preference. This is actually a good way to save. The hospitable lady manning the breakfast room is so lovely. Very nice to me. You can actually request a Barista-prepared coffee. I love having an espresso every morning. I was able to check-in early. Location is near the Center of the City. I can actually walk from the main train station to the hotel in 30 minutes at most. Very safe place to stay. It does not have any neighboring pubs/bars. Having the 24- hour reception service is very good. Having an air system cooler in the room is a + point. I can also watch their Italian TV channels if you can turn on the English audio option. Hotel also has a luggage storage service in case you have to travel later. I will not hesitate to book here next time.

The bathroom is updated. It took me about a half-hour to work out on how the shower works. Water puddles accumulated on the floor because I cannot control the water coming out of the shower head. Small refrigerator not working.

Excellent location, with parking available in a hotel garage nearby (100 m from the hotel, price 15 eur /day). From Hotel, it’s a 15-minute easy walk to the city center (Piazza delle Erbe) or to Orto Botanico/Prato della Valle. Convenient for returning to the hotel in the afternoon to change before heading back into the city for dinner. Rich breakfast with sweet & salty options. Friendly staff, 24/7 reception.

Location Superb! Convenient to bus stops, in the centre of tourist attractions and close to great bars, cafes and restaurants. Staff Excellent. Professional, genuine, and tried to meet all of our needs. Breakfast Good Italian breakfast with a focus on bread, cakes, biscuits, and buns. Excellent barista. There's a 'cook your own boiled egg station'. Triple room Good size with comfortable beds.

Unfortunately, it is an old hotel with thin walls and seemingly explosive water pipes. If you are a light sleeper, ask for an end room or one on the higher floors. The reception staff were extremely sympathetic and professional when discussing this with us and tried their hardest to offer solutions.

The hotel is well-managed and organized, reflecting a long-standing business tradition. All receptionists are wonderful and courteous, especially the tall young gentleman. Besides excellent knowledge of the city, outstanding communication, and friendliness, he demonstrated helpfulness and a willingness to solve any kind of issue. This young gentleman means a lot to this hotel. Additionally, I commend the hotel's location as well as the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms.

I'd like to offer constructive suggestions. It would be great to expand the breakfast options, particularly including warm food like eggs and sausages, and notably missing vegetables like salad. Also, it would be very useful to resolve the noise coming from some external device (right below the window, on the first floor). That's all. Everything else is in line with the hotel's price.
