The location of the room is good, it is a little bit far from the city center (you need to walk around 15min there from the hotel), however the area around the hotel is very nice, there are a couple of popular city attractions and many restaurants. In general, the hotel is very comfortable, the staff is friendly and speaks in English. There are different options for breakfast. The room was cleaned each day, the hotel service provided fresh towels regularly and various amenities.

The numbering of the rooms in the hotel is a bit confusing, when you exit the elevator on the first floor, there is a sign indicating the number starting with 600, while on the floor all the rooms start with 100. In my case, I booked a room with a single bed, so it was a little bit small and I had difficulties moving between bed, wardrobe, and table. In addition, the window of my room faced the hotel's courtyard, where the outdoor units from the air conditioning system were located, which were quite noisy, so I had to sleep with a closed window.

Good location, 5 min walk from the Basilica. Bus stops and supermarket close by, as well as a nice gelateria and a great bar (Dai Ragazzi). The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't try the breakfast but it seemed quite extensive for a reasonable price (10 euros). The rooms were very clean and had the AC.

The noise isolation is non-existent, partially due to a gap at the bottom of the bedroom doors. God forbid you get a neighbor who coughs, you will hear it the whole night (as we did). If anyone speaks in the corridor, you might as well not have a door; it would sound the same. The cleaning staff will start cleaning and vacuuming between 7 and 8:30am. Also, the bedroom door cannot be locked from the inside. Any draft will make the door shake and you'll jump up thinking someone is coming in.

Terrific location in walking distance to the Basilica of St. Anthony. We paid for private parking in their lot nearby which was so convenient (14 euros per night). Hotel was extremely clean with friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast which was booked upon check-in. (10 euros per person, per morning.) I appreciated that the hotel had large umbrellas to borrow as it was stormy (wind and rain) while visiting.

(Room #218) Small room, but of course we chose it so there was no fault. I am always amazed that even though the bathrooms are so tiny they find room for a bidet. Had they not had one, they could have installed a larger vanity or more room to towel off after the shower. Really the only reason I gave a "9" in the rating is that the bed was clearly in need of replacing. When you walked into the room one could see even with the bedspread on, that the bed was sagging with to dips where a couple would lie down. When you sit on the bed, you feel the bedsprings in the mattress.

I was greeted by friendly staff one of whom guided me to my room. The hotel was in an open square with a bar, gelateria and pizzeria/restaurant very close. It was very near the cathedral so quite easy to walk there and beyond.

My room was a single. It was very small but the furniture unit had a good space for a suitcase which kept the limited floor space clear. The bed was right up to a wall but was comfortable enough with a shelf for bits and pieces and light switches within easy reach. It looked out onto a courtyard but it was a service area so very noisy early in the morning. Walls were quite thin so loud talking from other rooms meant turning up the volume of the tv!

This 3 Star hotel can easily compete with many 4 Star hotels. Excellent value for money ratio, Staff is excellent (super efficient, and super nice), location is super convenient, rooms super clean and very well maintained all around .. not just the rooms. Nothing at all negative to say but all good things. I have been a world traveler for over 40 years (both business & personal) and I recommend the Giotto Hotel very strongly for someone who intends to visit Padova.

It was simply top and I can't see what more we can ask from this nice and cosy hotel, especially for such a reasonable price.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay! The hotel in Padua was spotlessly clean and offered everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing experience. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always ready to assist. For just ten extra euros, we enjoyed a rich and excellent breakfast that was truly worth it. The rooms were well-maintained, cozy, and beautifully detailed. The location is ideal, with easy access to everything one might need in the city. We highly recommend it and would definitely choose it again!

Clean, welcoming, tasteful and modern room. Nice they gave us slippers and some amenities like hygiene kit and soap. Classic hotel. Bed was comfy and it was quiet and dark with the curtains closed. Shower was nice and warm. It's relatively close to St. Anthony's Basilica, which was our main destination. We didn't get the breakfast, which did look good, but were able to easily get some coffee and brioche around the corner

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make some tea when it was so cold out, and it seemed a bit excessive to me to charge 2.50EUR for bottled water in the mini-bar -- of course we were also able to go to the supermarket nearby, and when we asked, the staff nicely filled up our thermos with hot water

Excellent location; walking distance to all of the historical sights and city center. Great access to parking (14 EUR per day). Staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast for a reasonable price. Room had many amenities including the option for A/C.

It was a tiny bit noisy if you keep the window open, the street gets a little busy, but that’s probably the price you pay for being in a great location. The room had everything you needed but felt a little dated, and the bed was not very comfortable, but it wasn’t horrible either.

Ideal position, perfect cleanliness, top class receptionists, quiet and comfortable, bidè. Public parking place in front of it and a private one not far from the building. I managed to work well with the laptop from the breakfast room after the checkout, but better to ask the reception if it's possible. Great value for the price.

The double bed is made of two single mattresses. Parking the car in the private parking place may end up being more expensive than leaving the car in front of the hotel, depending on the arrival time, better to clarify this.

Buffet Breakfast is ample and good value, including a variety of croissants, coffees, pastries, fruit, egg, cheese, meats. Staff is friendly. St. Anthonys Church 3 m almost next door, Botanical Garden closeby; other sites within 15-20 m walk. Charming area in front of hotel 🏨 . Rooms are efficient if Spartan, bath is good

30 m walk to train station on other side of town, but only 7m walk to Tram which connects 1.7€. Room looks out to mechanicals on rooftop
