Wonderful, super clean, modern apartment in amazing Palermo. We chose that place based on reviews and location and we were super happy with our choice 🧡 All the staff was super friendly, polite, always smiling and willing to help you with anything you need. Big, special thank you goes to the lady that was communicating with us through WhatsApp ( unfortunately don't know her name ) what a wonderful host she is, so helpful, polite and very friendly, she made all process starting from check in, parking a car, storing the luggage so easy and stress free. Thank you so much for everything 🧡 P.S. Breakfast provided by Kala rooms and served in the Luca Cafe across the street was delicious 🙏

Location, clean and staff very friendly

Very noisy at night

- Big room, big bathroom - Location was perfect and cosy on the square, near the main street and harbour - Friendly staff

- In the morning the hallway was very loud, mostly staff talking - Breakfast was limited to 3 items near a local bar. You got to choose from a pre-selected list (12 items or so). Coffee and drinks was also included in the 3 items. We found it to be limited, but good if you're only staying 1-2 nights. - We had a lot of small flies in our room

Everything was perfect: very friendly and helpful staff, ideal location, large/clean/comfortable room. All you need to have a good vacation.

The only small disappointment was the included breakfast served in the coffeeshop across the street: they didn't have all the items included in the breakfast, the fruit juice was not fresh and sometimes the waiters were a bit brusque. So, most of the time, we had to order extra items in order to have a good breakfast. I would advise the hotel to reconsider their collaboration with the coffeeshop, as it's the only negative experience related to our stay.

The location is great, you are really close to the city center and in a very quite and nice piazza. The host was very accommodating with our needs and she tried her best to help us with our travel itinerary. Breakfast is provided in a nearby place and it was very good.

The towels are very old and you can realize they are very used up. I would strongly recommend new towels to replace the old ones. We had difficulties finding the free parking that is advertised with the property, and after more than 30 minutes looking for an available space we ended up paying for a private parking. We traveled in May, so I am not sure if it is a problem for that specific period of time.

Breakfast is at a local bar which is good value and plenty of choice. Room was very clean and in an interesting area. It was in an area with bars and restaurants but was not particularly noisy. It was easy to walk to the main sights. The room itself was excellent.

We learned very quickly which streets to avoid as you would be constantly badgered to eat at their restaurant, but you could go out and eat without encountering these.

Kala rooms takes over the entire first floor (remember in Europe what we consider to be the first floor in the US is called the ground floor with the first floor above it in Europe) of a very old building in the heart of Piazza Marina. It is a completely renovated property, very modern, immaculate and beautifully appointed. I think there are 5 rooms. Everyone who works there is extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived there and could not figure out what to press to get in. We had to ask a server at the adjacent restaurant to help us. There is a label with the name of the B&B on the right side of the door which is actually the doorbell button. Just letting you know in case you need this information. One other thing. The entrance to the building is located in a pedestrian Piazza. Our taxi was not able to pull up to the door and we needed to pull our luggage over the cobble stones for about 50 feet until we got to the door. We needed help carrying our luggage up the steps and the two young, really nice ladies in charge were more than happy to help by carrying our luggage both up and also down when we left. Our experience there was very nice and I would definitely recommend staying at Kala rooms.

Honestly, I didn’t expect the room and bathroom to be as lovely and clean as they were, and the attention to detail was spot-on - we got little toiletries each day of our stay which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay - the staff were very helpful and friendly and the facilities were great.

Nothing to do with the property itself, but I would just say that if you’re staying during St Rosalia, don’t expect to get a good night sleep - the parade is right outside the window :)

The property is nicely situated within walking distance to the city center, but also close enough to the free parking area along the port area. The staff was super friendly and responsive.

The rooms feel a little dated, but overall clean and comfortable. The AC made some strange noises during the night but nothing major

Spacious room ideally located next to Duomo and tourist area. Staff very communicative and helped us locate place. We were treated to an excellent breakfast at a restaurant nearby.

The restricted zone requires an online pass purchase each day. We knew that ahead of time and Kala Rooms sent excellent instructions on what to do.This requires extra effort but I felt the area was very safe did not worry about our car.
