Location was excellent. In a very authentic location with bars, cafes, and restuarants all within less than a minutes walk. Area felt very safe. Apartment was excellent. Huge room cleaned evey day (except Sunday) to a very high standard. Plenty towels and toileteries available. Owner was very helpfull and happy to arrange a transfer back to the airport.

Breakfast was served at a local cafe 1 minute walk from the apartment. Received a voucher which allowed us to select certain items. These were fairly basic, but the option to purchase more enticing options was available.

This is our first time staying at a B&B accommodation and were a bit sceptical about it. We were completely amazed and surprised by the very spotless and spacious Bedroom and Bathroom that were well presented and not to forget the balcony over looking the Piazza di Marina. We found everything was well presented with the cleanliness, and the excellent customer service, friendly staff and the great location close to all amenities. We'll definitely book the Kalamarina B&B again when we next travel to Palermo Sicily JTA Sydney Australia

Nothing, everything was great

I absolutely loved my stay at this property, mainly due to its exceptional location, which put me in close proximity to all the major landmarks in Palermo - it's a delight for anyone interested in sightseeing. As for the room, it was a pleasant surprise as well. Not only was it meticulously clean, adding a feeling of comfort and relaxation to my stay, but it also looked exactly like the pictures provided.

Arriving late at night, I found it challenging to locate the property, as the provided images weren’t of the main entrance and no sign marked “Kalamarina Rooms”. Additionally, despite requesting no cleaning service due to expensive photography gear I had in the room, my room was still cleaned. It’s a bit noisy during the night but I was prepared for that as other reviewers had pointed it out too.

Very large room and bathroom. All was clean and well maintained. The voucher to have breakfast in a bar close by offered a good choice of options. Nice location near the main street with bar and restaurants, and close to the sea.

Amazing location, in the city centre but also quiet at the same time! Room was spacious, staff were helpful with parking times and zones, perfect stay for us to visit nearby Palermo

Nothing, only thing to bare in mind is parking in ZLT zones and being aware how to get round it. But this is nothing to do with the place, 100% recommend

I got into Palermo late and the owner waited up for me. The room was clean, comfy, spacious. Central location and only a 15-20min walk from main bus station. Good value for €€. Breakfast at the bar nearby was really nice. I was honestly pleasantly surprised!

There was a bit of a strong smell in her bathroom. Bring your earplugs and you’ll sleep very well!

I liked the big room and the great bed, but the windows could be a problem in summer, when the people will have party on the streets in the close restaurants. The Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very jummy!

Location is great, near attractions. The room is large, sockets near the beds. The check in process was great, they gave us the code for the building door and left the keys in the door for us. As we checked in after midnight it was ideal. Breakfast was good, not great, served at a near pasticeria. You a have a the choice between different beverages (water, juice, coffee) and two pieces of pasticeria.

The room large windows wouldn't close properly and the street is quite lively and noisy until after midnight and in the morning. The air conditioning wasn't much help with the heat. The fridge was wet and had a foul smell.

The staff was very welcoming! Though there was a language barrier, there were no issues at all! You have your own keys so you can come and go at any time. The room is very spacious and the bed is comfortable. There's even a little fridge in the room and a great balcony with a pretty view. The breakfast at Caffe Luca is gorgeous! We loved it! You have an option to take 3 things out of there and please, please make sure you take Iris! That sweet little ball is cooked in heaven.

If you prefer to sleep in silence, there might be a problem with restaurants right outside of the B&B. The balcony isn't soundproof, so it can be pretty noisy with all the music, chatting and laughing. It wasn't a problem for us as after a long day in Palermo we slept like babies. Also, the floor is cold and there are no carpets, so make sure you have some slippers with you or wear your shoes on.
