I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is great—close to the airport, and both the city center and central station are within walking distance. The area is quiet, and the hotel feels safe, with someone at the entrance almost all the time. The room was cleaned daily, which I really appreciated, and the breakfast offered a nice variety of options.

The only downside for me was the strong scent from the air conditioner in the room, as well as the cleaning products used—it was a bit overwhelming. But that’s my only complaint.

Quiet location near the train station. Lots of restaurants & shopping streets within walking distance. Entrance is by security code on the door & CCTv in the public areas Only staff & guests with access to the hotel. Excellent pressure & temperature in shower. Perfect air conditioning, room cleaned every day with fresh toiletries & towels daily. Comfortable bed. Great fresh selection of cold food, fruits, yogurts etc. Staff are friendly though lacking in English but we got by. We were impressed on morning three they knew we wanted a tea & a coffee for breakfast & started to prepare same for us when we were selecting our food. Very helpful & efficient. On our last day we met an English speaking lady. Highly recommend a stay here. We would definitely Italy stay there again.

These are the reasons for an 8 not a 10 score. There is no indoor bar. You can buy alcohol & soft drinks from the bar to bring to your room or sit outside in the garden. There is no lift if you have heavy cases. A few hooks in the bathroom to hang up towels etc & a shelf for toiletries in the shower would be good, especially for those with bad backs.

Hotels in Pisa are expensive, but this one is a budget hotel near the station and not in the main walled city. However, it’s a short walk to the river and then on to the main attractions. We had been in Cinqe Terre and needed a night here so we could see Pisa before flying home. We had to arrive before 11.00am because of the train times, we were given a warm welcome and the keys to our rooms upon arrival which we did not expect. A substantial breakfast was included with plenty of choice. The rooms we booked were small, but clean and adequate for our needs.

Nothing, we got what we paid for and the early check in was a bonus.

Excellent location , secure property, good communication , good size room , air conditioning Excellent, clean and tidy, minibar is available in room, comfortable bed , instant hot water at shower , compact and rustic, modest breakfast .

Water leaking outside the cabin shower and fload half of walking area in bathroom . The reception don't allow you to bring visitor in the room unless they register at reception ( feels like intimacy and privacy is not protected , not the best hotel for BOYZ , any visitor that find out that they need to register refuse to come in room anymore, so fun is limited at this hotel ). Slightly expensive for the facilities that they have .

Location was perfect for our needs. Staff was amazing and very thoughtful. They even gave us an upgrade when they saw we were with a baby. The mattress was very good for our preference.

Very central location in Pisa and extremely quiet nonetheless. Some great food restaurants a few minutes walk away, 6 minutes walk across the river for the main shopping drag. The hotel is full of charm, but it s Giorgio and staff that make the whole stay special. Most comfortable bed I've slept in in a long while. Fridge in the room too. Very generous breakfast. Recommended. Letti con materassi nuovo e molto comodi, posizione centralissima e personable molto gentile, ottimo pezzo e buona colazione, molto abbondante, lo consiglio.

Sliding bathroom doors are a little noisy, but the hotel manager and owner will replace them very soon as they continuously improve the building.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in shower. Mini fridge in room and very reasonable minibar prices. Breakfast was continental and everything very fresh. Liked the toastie machine at breakfast! Coffee excellent too. Location was great. Air con available in the room for €10 euro daily (this is because I visited outside the summer months and there are strict city regulations).

The rooms are very dated and although this wasn’t a problem as everything was spotlessly clean, there was some noise from the corridor and the door didn’t feel very secure (but there is a coded lock to the front entrance downstairs).

Surprisingly delightful hotel slightly off the beaten track but still an easy walk to Pisa’s tourist areas, restaurants and bars. The staff were so kind and cheerful. Great breakfast making the hotel good value for money. Three happy nights’ stay!

The Minerva Hotel was an overnight stop prior to flying out of Pisa. Staff were very welcoming and the hotel provided a good night’s sleep prior to travel - comfy beds and quiet overnight. The room/bathroom were basic but extremely clean and all in good working order. The breakfast was exeptionally good - plenty of fresh fruit and a wide choice of other items, you could have grazed the buffet for some time! overall I would recommend the Minerva.

The hotel was well situated for us being fairly close to the station/airport, but it would be a good 20-25 minute walk to the area of the leaning tower.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant to talk to. The girl that made our check-in and check-out was very nice and did a pretty good job in welcoming us. The room has an air conditioning that is an absolute must-have in Pisa with this weather. Good breakfast in the morning.

Our room was tiny with old furniture and even tinier bathroom. There was barely enough space to move from the door to the shower in the bathroom as the toilet and bidet take all the space. What’s more, the sink has some problems with water evacuation. It’s ok for one night stand, but clearly not acceptable for a 3-stars hotel.
