The property was very clean and close to the airport, bus and train station. There are a lot of close restaurants and places to visit within walking distance from the hotel, including the tower of Pisa. The staff were very nice and allowed my wife, sister and I to store our luggage before checking in and even after checking out of the hotel. The shared bathrooms were also very clean and had plenty of towels to use. The hotel also had a free breakfast, that included a fantastic large expresso, croissants, bread, jam, and yogurt. Lastly, the staff were very kind and also greeted us a smile on their faces. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Pisa! 🙂

Nothing, the hotel was fantastic!

Super friendly lady at the reception, good location, the room was clean. We stayed for 2 nights, each day they cleaned the room and even changed the towels. The breakfast is easy but it is enough to eat - toasts with butter and cheese, coffee, flakes and yoghurt. As for the noise from the railway station please be sure you've chosen this hotel consciously as the staff are doing their job very well and have nothing to do with the noise. And there are no elevator please keep it in mind

It would be great to have some hooks in the bedroom in order to hang the towels

We loved our stay at Hotel Moderno, we were only here for a night but would have loved to have stayed another.. next time. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating, and they thought of everything before you asked, eg, luggage storage after we checked out, if we needed the bathroom once we came back from exploring, and they put on their own breakfast which is included in the price. They even asked us what coffee they could make for us. Just so attentive and you could tell they put a lot of care and love into this place and the guests they serve. Plus that have the sweetest hotel pup. 😍 Thank you for having us

The staff were extremely helpful and made sure all my needs were met throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is also quite convenient — not too far from the train station, making it easy to travel around. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

While my stay at Hotel Moderno was generally pleasant, one thing to note is that the bathroom is shared among several rooms and guests. This could be less convenient, especially during peak hours when multiple guests need to use it at the same time.

Great location. Bed and our bathroom were very clean. Some rooms shared a bathroom. Basic but adequate breakfast (cornflakes, croissants, toast and yoghurt) We walked everywhere from there. Shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We were on the back of the hotel and were aware of some traffic and train noise. However, we would be happy to stay here again.

We've got 2 rooms (double + triple and they were located near each other). That was really comfortable, also the bathroom was as well next door to the rooms. The location is cool and you also have an option to leave the luggage on the day of departure. Really cool in case of leaving by train, cause the train station is 3 minute walk away. Tali (the dog) is great, the owners are great as well. Friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast is a light one, but you still can do some sandwiches (without meat), eat yogurt and drink coffee or tea.

The only thing we didn't like was the smell in one of the rooms. The other one didn't have it, so it's ok.

I loved everything about this great hotel. The balcony was so nice for sitting and watching the city move along in the morning or at night. It is super close to the train station, less than a 5 minute walk. There's plenty of stuff nearby and about a 25 minute walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The staff was super friendly and helpful when I needed suggestions on places to eat or explore. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking!

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. If I'm ever in Pisa again this will be the first place I check for an open room.

The hotel's location is excellent if you plan to explore the surrounding towns. It's close to the train station and within walking distance of the airport. We had an early morning flight, so it was an ideal solution, walking to the airport in about 15 minutes. The service was very friendly. We weren't bothered by the noise of the trains arriving at the station, but the acoustics were poor; we could hear our neighbors.

This is a 2 star simple hotel near the central station. We picked it for its location and reviews. Its not fancy and its not luxurious however our room and ensuite were very clean, well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The reception team were exceptionally helpful giving us very good recommendations on where to eat and what to do during our short visit to Pisa. We arrived about 1:30pm ie before checkin time and our room was ready which was great.

Great family run hotel with very friendly, welcoming and helpful owners. Excellent location within walking distance from the airport (15min) and the train station (2min), as well as the main Pisa attractions (20min). Our room was spotlessly clean with a private bathroom. Breakfast included coffee, pastries, yoghurts, cereal and juices. Ideal place for short stays. We stayed one night and thanks to the luggage storage we could explore Pisa luggage free for two days, even before/after check in/out. AC worked perfectly well (in 38C). Thank you very much for making our stay in Pisa so nice.
