Great location, walking distance from Pisa airport and also Pisa central train station. Lovely big room with large bathroom. Complementary coffee and bottled water in room. Great hosts, very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to leave our luggage there after we checked out so that we could walk around Pisa and then returned in the afternoon to collect our bags and use the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

The only thing which perhaps was missing was breakfast but we knew this in advance and it wasn't an issue for us. Would have been nice if it was provided though 😊

We had an early flight and needed a good place near the airport. Willa Matilde was a perfect fit for us to enjoy the day in Pisa and get to the city center by walk. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was just perfect. Even though there is no breakfast included, you can find some snacks in the morning downstairs in the kitchen. It is also possible to make tea and coffee at any time there. Paper-cups for a take-way coffee was nice. We made some early to drink on our way to the airport. The host sent us very good instructions how to get there and met us on our arrival.

Walls are thin, but we were lucky to have quiet neighbors. There was a bad smell in our bathroom. I believe it's because of a drainage, because everything was just spotless.

Property was a 20 minute walk to the Airport which is why we based our stay here as we had a very early flight the next day. Very clean, had everything you needed for your stay including fresh towels, shower gels, shower cap. Loved that Netflix was provided in English and other languages as the main tv channels were none English Air conditioning in room Felt safe at night as door locked with a key Coffee machine and tea/coffee facilities were provided in the kitchen. Croissants provided at breakfast Free WiFi which was strong enough and reached our room upstairs in room 4 Quiet night which was a bonus I would definitely return as me and my Daughter found it value for money

Nothing disliked about the property except got a little cold in room at night but blanket provided in wardrobe (I feel the cold easily)

What interesting architecture in this accommodation! The host works very hard to make things comfortable and accommodating! The building is in the process of renovating in the other section of the building. However, if the host had not told us, we wouldn't have even noticed. There is a variety of coffee and water available. Our room was on the second floor. With beautiful marble steps leading up and a beautifully tiled bath. I would be curious to see pictures of the original building!The room is comfortable with a lovely courtyard view. The water was hot and plenty of it for us to each take a shower. Pressure is also great. Towels are plenty. The location is a lovely, safe neighborhood with the best pizza shop in the world at the end of the street. By the slice, if you prefer! Always found parking, Would definitely recommend it as it is a great value!

Can't think of anything that was negative!

We were staying for just one night as part of a transit from Italy to another country so the proximity to both the train station for our arrival and the airport for our departure the next morning was perfect. The room was spacious with a large shower and toilet en suite too and the member of staff who met us was helpful and thoughtful.

Like in many places there was the additional city tax charge we were asked for on arrival rather than it being included in the price. The location in terms of getting to the town centre isn't great, it is over a 30 minute walk, so not the best spot if you are there for actually properly visiting Pisa.

We loved staying at the Villa Matide,it was like home away from home. Carlo and Maria were superb hosts helped by little Matteo!❤️Room and bathroom were so spacious and a fabulous shower with constant hot water. Location was equidistant from the Duomo,airport and train station so ideally situated.Tea and coffee facilities were also supplied as well as complimentary bottled water and toiletries. They also allowed us to check in at 11.30am which we really appreciated as we had a very early flight from Cork.Definitely will return if and when I'm back in Pisa.

It was very clean, staff was super helpful and polite, everything was newly renovated. We got complimenrary coffe and tea and simple breakfast(bread and spreads + croisants)

The prices of rent are just getting ridiculous, we didnt give lower review because of that but just wanted to say while the experience we had was positive, the overall value didn’t quite match the price paid.

The location is good if you want to walk to the airport or the train station. It's a bit further away from Pisa Tower and the old city centre, but you can still walk there in less than one hour. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable; Good communication with the manager. The place is a family house renovated to have some independent rooms on the first floor. We'd stay there again.

Feedback for "room 2": The bathroom is quite big but the shower is small with no place to put your toiletries inside. Other than that, not much to complain. You have to climb a set of stairs in case that's an issue for you.

Villa Matilde is in a great location, about 10 minutes walk from both central station and the airport in a residential area. The room (1) was large with a window onto the front courtyard and had wooden shutters which kept the light out for sleeping. The room was fairly quiet considering how close it was to the airport- heard a couple of planes but that was it. Didn’t hear any noise from any other guests. The gentleman who let us in was extremely pleasant and helpful. It appears to still be a family home with 5 rooms let out. The location was a bit further away from the sights than hotels on the other side of the station but it suited us fine as we wanted to be near the station and airport - we had already stayed in central Pisa at the start of the week and we’re returning from Cinque Terre. We would definitely stay there again if returning to Pisa. Ate twice at Fratelli D’Auria - delicious pizza - book in advance as it was pretty busy. Walk to airport was straightforward forward.

The shower in room 1 leaks onto the floor. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom dripped onto the floor after being on for a while.

Excellent location for both airport and train station. 15 mins easy safe walk from airport. With back to airport, walk forward under viaduct and continue straight. The road to hotel is on the right just after roundabout. Train station is about 12 mins walk away-- again safe and easy walk. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Allowed us to leave our luggage overnight whilst we visited Cinque Terre. Room small but comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic pizza restaurant-- turn left out of property and just 2 minutes walk. Superb value and quality. Easy walk into centre of Pisa and shops and restaurants.
