It was enjoyably quirky, very different from a chain hotel. The breakfast room with endless coffee and a balcony was only a few steps away and a real boon. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The Wi-Fi was good. The location was brilliant. We were able to leave our bags safely on our last day until we wanted them. The communication was friendly and helpful.
It was a little difficult to locate when we first arrived. It would be a good idea to show the front door in the hotel description.

We really enjoyed the location: we could reach a lot of stuff by foot and there was a bus stop just next to our door. The breakfasts were nice. The 24/7 free coffee machine was a blessing. The view from the breakfast balcony—amazing. Stuff was very welcoming and they let us leave our luggage on the last day and even let us use the bathroom. The room was nice, cleaned every day and the AC was working.
If I have to say something, the mattress was very hard, not to our liking. I would also get some chlorine to wash the black mold from the shower stall (although I scraped a lot of it off mechanically :D ). The bathroom could use more hooks and shelves

Excellent location. In a walking distance from everything important to see in Rome. Bus station infront of the house. Spacious room. Cleaning every day. Friendly staff. Quiet air conditioning.
Shower water pressure low - only extremely hot or cold water, so hard to wash my thick hair. Walls were from paper, first 3 days had little kid next door - so impossible to sleep in the morning as soon as she woke up. Limited breakfast choices… for 9 days.

Great location, very convenient for the Centro Storico and the airport shuttle. Good breakfast, very friendly helpful staff; Gabriele was very accommodating about early checkin and the one time we had a minor issue (air conditioning remote control needed new batteries), he sorted it very promptly. I'd never had a room with outside bathroom before but it was our private bathroom with our own key, so it was fine. Great historic building and central location but also all mod cons (Lift, air conditioning, etc) plus onsite breakfast which, trust me, is not that common for accommodation in central Rome. A noisy street but with double glazing and shutters and air conditioning, it was quiet and cool. Definitely recommended.
Nothing. Just be aware it's self-checkin but with clear instructions sent via booking and staff are on site every morning during breakfast if you need one-to-one contact.

Stylish room in a stylish building. Very clean. Good WiFi. Great breakfast. Great location, especially for Vatican, Piazza Navona, Castel Sant'Angelo, Pantheon and more, but everything you want to see is between 5 and 30 minutes walk. If you've not been to Rome, everywhere you look is a sight! Gabriele is a great host, very easy going and flexible. Check in was easy and he was in contact during the 24 hours prior to check in. Btw, free coffee machine and also chilled water all day and night. The breakfast room has a nice balcony to eat and chill and watch the world go by. Its a busy street but once your bedroom windows are closed you can't hear street noise. The room is cool even in hot weather, plus good aircon if needed. Bus stops outside if you don't want to pay the ridiculous taxi prices 🙈 There's thousands of accommodation options in Rome, and alot of good locations but we was very happy we chose this place and location, we felt like we was in the epicentre, and the price was reasonable. Would highly recommend 👌
We didn't like leaving Rome, that's all 🤷♂️

The location was very convenient and in proximity to major landmarks. If you want to walk and explore the city, it would be an easy walk. But if you were tired, there is a bus stop at the front of the hotel and a taxi line nearby. They have the cutest dining hall and served some good breakfast. Croissants, danishes, eggs, yogurt, tea, coffee, juice, etc. It was a good selection for breakfast. The staff is very friendly.
The shower was separate from the restroom. It was a good thing I was with my husband. If I was staying with someone else, it would have been awkward. There was foul odor coming from the restroom. I understand because it’s an old building, it could be the plumbing.

The location was perfect and we could walk everywhere to our place of interest. Rooms are also clean and you get housekeeping services daily which was great. The staff, especially Gabriele was also truly one of the most helpful and loveliest person we have met. There was a national train strike going on when we were leaving Rome for Florence, and we were afraid that our train will be affected. Feeling confused, we reached out to Gabriele and he responded immediately and helped us check the train schedules, making sure to give us the information that we needed to catch the train in time. It was truly a great source of comfort to us and we will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Rome!
Toilet was a little small but it was clean

Absolutely loved the location! So central, almost walking distance to all places we wanted to see. There's a bus stop right outside and a superstore at the corner turn. Many good restaurants around, we were recommended Osteria De Memmo, a restaurant in the back lane of the hotel by the staff, it was one of the best pastas and chocolate mousse we had in Rome. The building is vintage, unique and beautiful. The lift is gorgeous, and spacious as well. Initially I was scared about the old-style metal open door lift but soon figured it was fast and sturdy, not scary at all. We got the corner superior room overlooking the city, it was a beautiful room with painted ceiling. Gorgeous vintage furniture, well-spaced bathroom. Amenities were provided and very soft towels. Refrigerator was good and cold, functioned well. Not noisy at all despite being in such a central location. Breakfast was minimal and same every day, a little variety over 4 days would have been better. The friendly staff was the best part about the place! Had an amazing amazing stay!
The safe was too tiny and could only keep our passports, it would have been good if we could put our laptops etc in as well. The toilet flush water kept running so we had to manually pull the plug every time it was used. Water bottles in the room would've been a good touch. Lighting in the bathroom was amazing, in the room it was too yellow and slightly dark, so couldn't get makeup done in room. These are just some suggestions, nothing big to ruin our stay. We would definitely be staying here again when we visit Rome.

My contact, Gabriele, was exceptionally helpful. Getting us to the property even though it was very late and a frightful night. Then making dinner reservations and changing the twice to accommodate our delays. His choice of restaurants for each night was exceptional. He organized our taxi to the airport. He sorted out the repair to the constantly running toilet. Nothing was too much for him. The location was excellent- fight in the center of the sites. Just excellent
It didn’t have a kettle for making tea and the room was a bit small.

Amazing central location, you can walk to most tourist attractions. The best is beautiful, the ceilings are high and painted, we felt like we were sleeping in a museum or a castle. The breakfast is terrific, it was the best cappuccino out of a machine I've ever had, I'd easily mistake it for Barista made.
Parking is super tough but that's not their fault. Just don't come with a car to Rome. Check in was a bit confusing because we arrived late but they emailed us instructions so it all worked out.
