We loved the location of this property! The Pantheon was literally steps away & we had a beautiful view of it from our window. There was lots of excitement in this area, both day & night, but our room was quiet & our bed was comfortable so we had no trouble sleeping. It’s also worth noting that the A/C was great at this hotel, which we desperately needed in July! The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful. The hotel & room decor was very pretty.

We really loved this property. We liked having the option of the buffet breakfast & it offered a lot of choices but overall the food was just okay. The rooftop lounge was a nice place to spend some time but it was strange that they told us we couldn’t bring any food up there since all they serve are drinks.

We loved the location. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was huge and the hot water was fabulous.

Everything was great except the room was too hot even with the heating off and the heat/cooling couldn’t be adjusted in the room.

Location was incredible, the Whole Rome comes to you , staff were nice and helpful, room size excellent, clean , comfortable and well decorated, i definitely will stay there again when in Rome

The hotel staff was exceptionally attentive, kind, and helpful. Our room was a spacious, two-story suite with two interconnected bathrooms and double sinks, making it the best family accommodation we've ever experienced. Despite it being winter in Rome and our room being on the ground floor, it was pleasantly warm. My sons particularly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the potato pancakes. It was delightful that the hotel offered a view of the Pantheon, a terrace, and the option to sit at the tables in front. Additionally, the hotel's location was great, within walking distance of all the must-see historical sites. The small chocolates they left for us each day added a special touch, and we were fortunate to find the same brand at the Rome Duty Free on our way back.

Our stay at Albergo del Senato was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and ordered a taxi to the airport for us. The location couldn’t be better—right next to the Pantheon, with popular restaurants and eateries on social media nearby. Despite being in the heart of the action, our room was wonderfully quiet, and we enjoyed a stunning view of the Pantheon right from our window (I still can’t believe we couldn’t hear the crowds.). The room was very clean and looked recently remodeled, with modern touches and air conditioning that made our stay very comfortable. The free breakfast buffet had several options and a great added perk, making this hotel a great value compared to all the other hotel options. Highly recommend if you want to stay in the heart of Rome!

No complaints

The location was great. The Parthenon was right out the front door. We had a room in the back, so we heard no noise. They had two lifts, which was very nice. The doorman, Gigi, was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly. We did the bus tour around the city. I walked looking at several restaurants and found the one right out our front to the right. It was so good we ate there for two nights. They even brought out a table from the inside so we could have a view of the plaza and Parthenon. Ask for Alessandro. One of the best waiters I have ever had. The food was excellent and priced right. The best Gelato at 150 Flavors is just up the street a few blocks. I will stay and eat there again.

Parking—Like most big old cities in Europe, Parking is impossible. We parked at the huge city parking lot at the main city park near Harry's Bar. We had to walk a long way and upstairs to get to the street. Then a cab to the hotel. About 20 Euros. Don't try to drive in the city. There are many restrictions, and only taxis can get to the hotel.

It’s the perfect Rome location, in the center of everything, but never hear outside noise unless I open the window/balcony. All the staff are wonderfully helpful, kind, and efficient. Breakfast is consistently good. The service is impeccable. The air conditioning works fabulously, and they provide excellent amenities. This was our second time to return to the del Senato, and it’s the place I plan to always choose in Rome for the consistently excellent quality service.

The rooms are small, which is typical for Rome. The beds could use updating to a more modern comfortable mattress.

Room - we took Duplex (101), excellent but room lacks powerpoint if there are many pax in the room & had 2 floors, upstairs was queen bed & ground floor 2 single beds Toilet - had shower & tub & brightly lit Room - clean & provided slippers & enuf lighting (room tad dusty so pls do use slippers given or bring your own) Bfast - generous & tasty Location - perfect but quiet Net - free, fast & reliable Hotel pick up was Euro110 Taxi when goin back Euro50 (cash) They can help order cabs for you (paid via meter, we paid cash)

Lack powerpoint (sockets) so we had to share amongst us 4 As usual it's busy so you cant check in early BUT can communicate with Whatsapp to ask about your room (they did transfer our luggages when we were out) Hotel pick up was expensive (Euro110)

Professional staff, excellent breakfast choice, beautiful room, great design on all premises

Location was a hit and miss. Although the hotel is actually situated on the square facing the Pantheon and 100% true to the description (reason I booked was a central location with a good view) the location is overcrowded, too noisy and the whole experience underwhelming. Not a fault of the hotel, it was all great with them. I would just never choose again such a crowded place.

I'm reluctant to give this review because I'd love to keep this place a secret. But the team is worthy of a very positive review. The location is fantastic. Walk outside onto the doorstep of the Pantheon - doesn't get any better than this. The rooftop looks into the Pantheon done and watching the sunset was a highlight of my stay. The breakfast spread is exquisite - standard fare, accompanied by beautiful cakes, meats and cheeses. Plus excellent barista-made coffee. Bravo!
