The location is optimal if you arrive from Termini (10 min walk) and for sightseeing too (30 min walk to the Trevi fountain). Metro line is just nearby. I can agree with all the positive reviews. Just before this stay - for business reasons- I was accommodated in a much more expensive hotel very close to Lucilla but I find this one better to be honest. The room size was bigger than I expected (booked a 13 m2 room). Spacious enough. Breakfast is superb.

The location is simply perfect, a 5' walk from Termini station (which is where the train from Fiumicino airport takes you) and the city centre. My room was very large (see pictures), comfortable, very quiet and clean, and the furniture was beautiful. There was a private balcony, with two chairs, a small table, and an ash tray. It even had a massaging bed! Air conditioning was on, when I arrived, and set to a perfect temperature. The room was equipped with everything, towels, bathrobe, slippers, and complete bathroom equipment (toothpaste, body cream, razor and shaving cream, shower cap, sponge for shoes, etc. etc.) Even the breakfast was gorgeous: I opted for bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, beans and tomatoes, but there was plenty of choice, both salty and sweet. On a final note, the prices of the minibar where absolutely cheap (for a 4 star hotel).

To be very, very, very picky about an overall perfect experience, it would have been nice to have a power outlet near the bed.

The room was small but space well planned. Everything in the rooms were neat and clean. The breakfast was excellent spread out. Since I made the room booking only, so I paid Euro 15 per breakfast - and it is really worth. The location is excellent - 10 minutes walk from Termini Roma Station.

The staff can be more smiling. There was a person at the reception [slightly aged], who was there when I arrived - he was very good. But overall it is very good place to stay.

The location was perfect. Very easy to get to any attraction by mass transit. The room was specious and comfortable. The option to store luggage before and after checking in and out was wonderful.

The design of the bathroom allowed some water end up on the floor after the shower but it is not a deal breaker

Excellent location. Staff was very nice and quick with check in and check out. The little balcony added a great touch. Super comfortable bed and clean. If you are looking for a safe place to stay and clean at great price the place is great for that.

The shower head did not work you would have to actually hold in one hand while you try to bathe otherwise the water sprayed everywhere.

Staff at the reception very pleasant. I arrived early and was able to leave my bags there. The room was nice and neat, not very spacious but fair enough for one person. The bed was very comfortable. The staff at the bar during breakfast were very nice. The breakfast was really good. Not a lot of options but the scrambled eggs were very delicious. Good healthy option with some vegetables. The fruit could be more and already cut. Overall good stay close to the train station.

The sound isolation is very poor. I could hear people from next rooms and the doors shutting very loudly early on the morning which didn't let me sleep properly.

It's a really excellent hotel. First of all I would like to mention the staff. The staff is very kind and responsive. We arrived early in the morning and should wait till 14:00 for check in but they did it provided the room at 8:00 and didn't charge for early check in. Also initially we had booked a small double room but they provided a better room (Comfortable double)without any additional charge. The breakfast was very tasty with different options. The rooms were clean and everyday they were cleaning the room. Nice bathroom with lot of different toiletries. The location is good enough and very close to the Treni station. I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends who are going to visit Rome.

To have a better shower.

I had a hard time choosing between the options in rome, i ended up choosing this one because of the bed and the proximity to Roma Termini. This is my favorite hotel I have stayed at. The beds are amazing, everything is walking distance except maybe the vatican, and the main terminal is less than 5 minutes away. They have a sister hotel that's less than 5 minutes away where they have an amazing restaurant, gym and spa, you get a discount.

The air-conditioning did not work, glad it was winter so I just had the window open the entire stay.

Very nice small room, comfortable bed, good pillows & towels. Service every day. The 16 euro breakfast was good, and certainly worth it the day we went to Pompeii. Hot water was warm enough, but hotter would have been nice. AC worked well. We would stay again, but check the lock!

The lock on our door was inoperable, in that it was always open. The latch was sticking continuously open, but the lights worked. The bolt inside worked. We didn't realize this for a day. When i reported it they said maintenance would fix it first thing in morning, but we had to inform day staff and doublecheck before it was fixed.

Customer support, location and partner offers. The massage bed was awesome after day long walking ..loved it!! Breakfast was a good spread of items to choose from! Boxed Breakfast offered since we checked out very early morning for a flight. Lovely memories and experience!

The bathroom space was pretty tight, and the drain was not necessarily pulling out water as fast from the shower - kind of clogged .. would be nice to have ample space between shower and toilet seat (note - we got a queen or double room on 4th floor)
