I had the best experience at Boutique Hotel Galatea. From start to finish the service was 5* - the staff truly went the extra mile to ensure I felt special on my birthday. They even set up balloons in my room and gave me a bottle of Prosecco which was the sweetest surprise! I also think it’s such a lovely touch that the staff refer to guests on a first name basis - truly better service than I’ve had at much more expensive ‘luxury’ hotels! Special shoutout to Jasmine on the front desk. The room itself was nicely decorated and well-equipped with great air conditioning and an extremely comfortable bed. The shower was always perfect and as someone with long hair I very much appreciated the powerful hairdryer! I can’t fault this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. I will certainly be returning on my next visit to the city. 10/10 all round ⭐️

Perfect location - central, yet peaceful, in a quiet courtyard. Most sights, the metro, and Termini station were easily reachable on foot. My single room was cozy and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh. Coffee delicious! The staff were outstanding—especially Alice who was always friendly and welcoming. The hotel also offers tours through partners; I joined a night photo walk to the Pantheon which was a true highlight.

The rooms were a bit noisy which can happen in city hotels (if you are a light sleeper, don’t forget your earplugs). The tea bags in the room weren’t automatically refilled during my stay. Also, the air conditioning had to stay on which I personally don’t prefer when sleeping.

The stuff was friendly and helpful. The place is clean and comfy. Great location.

If you are a light sleeper, this place is not for you! It seems that people do not realize that when they walk along the corridor to their room at midnight, or even at any other time, they need to wait until they reach their room, and not talk loudly in the corridor. Especially calling someone through the door... Other guests may have a rest in other rooms and we have to respect each other. The soundproofing in the hotel is 0, the doors are like paper. In the morning at 7 am, the staff starts talking to each other, preparing breakfast, rattling plates, the smell of frying scramble in the room (even though my room was the very last one in the corridor). Speaking of the breakfast. It’s not worth buying, there are a bunch of good cafes in Rome.

Hotel great! Very nice and friendly staff. Mega helpful. Smiling all the hotel staff! Ladies at the reception desk as well as people working at breakfast - revelation! Room cleaned daily - new towels every day - cleaning ladies perfect! Location - great! Everywhere close! To the largest and most popular sights up to 15 minutes walk. To the Vatican 40 minutes walk or 4 stations by metro. Repubblica metro station 6 minutes walk from the Hotel - metro line A - to Ciampino airport 25min to Cinecitta station + 520 bus under the airport terminal.

Cozy, beautiful hotel in the heart of Rome. Staff was very friendly, the atmosphere and interior of the hotel was really nice, looked like it was newly renovated. Easily accessible, very good neighborhood and many amnesties around. Both Trevi and Coliseum are just couple of minutes away to walk.

Wifi was very weak even in the lobby of the hotel but from the room it was literally not accessible, so i had to use my mobile internet for the entire stay. Overall i'm still happy as the location was top and the hotel was clean and comfortable.

Everything was excellent. It is a great little hotel settled on the 3rd floor of a building, you get your access code to enter through front gate and then go through little yard and on the left side is entrance B and there is an elevator to the 3rd floor. Hotel has really good location, it is 50m from one of the biggest shopping streets Via Nazionale, close to metro station but my recommendation is to go by foot everywhere you can, the city is so lovely and beautiful. It is 12min walk to Fontana di Trevi, 16 minutes walk to Spanish steps, 21 minutes walk to Panteon, 16 minutes walk to Termini station. In front of the hotel there are few restaurants, supermarket, bakery with pizza (EXCELLENT pizza), bar with also some pasta and great sandwiches. At our arrival we and our friends were upgraded in rooms, which is a lovely move from hotel stuff. We got a room 307, a spacious room with 2 + 1 bed (one large for two and one single bed), spacious bathroom with toiletries, slippers and everyday changed towels. Hotel is clean, beds and pillows are very comfortable. There is a room safe who was working perfectly. Hotel stuff ia amazing, very helpful, polite, friendly, they are such a wonderful asset to this hotel. Breakfast is very good with lots of sweet and savory varieties and the coffee that stuff serve to you is to die for. All in all is is a hotel with fantastic value for the money and we will gladly come back and so would our friends who were in Rome for the first time and are stunned with everything.

The location is perfect and the hotel itself is lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful , every request we had was handled quickly and efficiently. We truly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were super clean.

The rooms were lovely, just a little dark — not much sunlight coming in. Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge at first (you have to go through a coded gate and figure out which building it is), but once we got there, it was totally worth it.

Excellent location, comfortable beds, good shower and overall a very welcoming hotel. The location couldn't be any better since it was within a short walk of the centre of Rome, while also being quiet. The staff at reception were all young, welcoming and eager to help - a shoutout to Abigail (if I remember correctly) who was truly great, professional and polite. People like here make one feel at home when staying at a hotel. Funnily enough I've stayed both at Glance in Rome and at Boutique Hotel Galatea, which are both run by the same company and share a building. My general impression is that Glance in Rome has more spacious rooms with antique furniture, whereas Galatea has smaller but more modern rooms. For ambiance I preferred Glance in Rome, but I found Galatea a tiny bit more comfortable and quieter at night.

My only minor complaint is that the Internet provided was quite slow. At times it worked great but at other times - maybe when many guests were using it at the same time? - it was terribly slow. Not a massive issue but there is certainly room for improvement on that front. Another minor criticism is that the lamps next to the bed were quite bright. I usually like reading at night with a dim light in order to unwind after a long day in the city, but the lamps were much too bright for that purpose. It would be great to have slightly less bright - or, even better, dimmable - lamps next to the bed.

The Boutique hotel Galatea where I stayed is in a great location and meets all the needs of a city hotel. The hotel organizes wonderful themed excursions around Rome with a guide every day for its guests, which is great and highly commendable. The highest praise goes to the hotel staff, who are very professional, pleasant and kind. I especially thank you for the wonderful surprises for my birthday. I am delighted. Thanks for everything.
