The location is superb, few minutes walking from the central station but also walking distance to Vatican City. Room was renovated, very clean and comfortable. The staff was professional and helpful.

The breakfast was great, very varied and delicious. The breakfast room is a little bit small, however, there is a larger room, but the food is available only in the smaller space. The staff was very nice and friendly, they helped us when needed. On the first day, the receptionist gave us a map, showing many restaurants and famous places to visit. We've been here before, and we were totally satisfied, that's why we came back to this hotel again. I recommend this hotel for spending a few days in Rome.

Unfortunately, the walls are a little bit thin so the noises can be heard from the other rooms. There was a big group of people who stayed in the hotel and made a quite big noise in the evening, and the staff did not notify them. That was a little unpleasant.

The hotel is located at a very good location. You can go walking to different main monuments of the city and also is close to rome termini. Staff was kind. They gave us a room in the next door to the hotel, which was weird, but since i read it in other reviews, it wasn't unexpected. They save our luggage before check in and after check out Our stay in general was good!

The air conditioner wasn't working properly, the room barely got cold, although the place was fresh. The elevetor on the building next door (where we stayed) was pretty old, and we got stuck there once... little bit scary

The hotel is in the middle of everything. The room is huge. We're 3 guests in 1 room and we can open all our luggage at the same time. The bathroom has a huge space too and there's small room for your clothes. The choices of their breakfast buffet was also great too. You can leave your luggage in case you have a late flight and they can also arrange you an airport transfer.

There's a leak from our shower that seeps to the sink. We did not report this though since it was just a minor thing for us. ATTN TOURISTS!!! Beware of your bus rides in Italy. You have to validate your ticket the time you get on the bus at any cost! We got ticketed for not validating our ticket for 54 euros each! We could not validate our ticket the time we got in because the bus was full of people and there's only 1 machine where you could validate your ticket. Inspectors target tourists and will never hear your excuse. They could at least give at least a warning to tourists and hear them out.

Fantastic find of a hotel. Excellent location for the train station & hop on hop off bus stop. Close to the Trevi and Colosseum. There is a small but well stocked supermarket at the end of the tunnel to get all ur shopping. Hotel room was spotless, beautiful and very large (we are a family of 4) Fantastic large shower with big fluffy towels and toiletries. Had a kettle and minibar (the minibar prices were really reasonable). You could also use the fridge for your own drinks etc. Nice fresh breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, danishes, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, and cereal.) The staff were all very pleasant, friendly, and approachable, could not have been more helpful and gave lots of recommendations of things to do and how to get there. Would highly recommend a stay here, loved it!!

Great location - close to Roma Termini, there are a lot of nearby restaurants and a handy little supermarket at the end of the street. Our triple single bed room was clean and comfortable and provided as we requested. The daily room cleaning is done well and the front staff are welcoming and helpful (e.g. booking taxis for morning flights and providing maps and directions). The bar fridge is a good size for storing fruit and dairy in from the supermarket. The hotel tap water is drinkable with no problems, wifi was fine. Great value for money.

This is my third time in Rome, and this has been the best accommodation so far. Friendly staff, all the amenities you need during your stay, and a location just 10 to 15 minutes from all the major landmarks. The breakfast offers something for everyone's taste. I haven't felt this comfortable in a hotel in a long time. I especially want to highlight the cleanliness of the hotel—if there were a rating higher than 10, I would choose it. Hoteliers should come here for training to learn what a truly clean hotel looks like. Thank you for everything—I will definitely come back again!

Absolutely everything! The staff was friendly and helpful! Dino walked us to the sidewalk and gave us perfect directions to dinner. He called for taxis and helped store our luggage. The rooms.. beautiful and clean but did I mention spacious!!! The location was perfect for us. A walk to the Trevi fountain, colosseum and shopping. But right outside our hotel doors is wonderful dinning, even a gluten free bakery! I was sad to leave, but will be back again. Thank you to the staff of the Virgilio, you helped make our first family vacation a memorable one.

A little loud construction in the courtyard early in the morning

The staff was very attentive and helpful. The location is excellent, everything important is close or easy to reach. Good places to eat are nearby. The room was right on the main level, so no elevator needed, perfect. The only thing is that the main entrance has some inevitable steps, but I understand in old buildings there's no way around things like that; had to carry the luggage up and down those steps. Nice, spacious bathroom with good hair dryer.

Not a lot of space, apart from the one occupied by the bed. The bed was good sized and very comfortable; a good amount of pillows was available. Didn't love the shower door. Hate those little paper tissues some places use instead of rolls of toilet paper. The shower didn't have any shelf or place to put the soap or any bottle, had to put everything on the corner on the floor. There was no rack in the room to place the suitcase on, nor any hooks to hang anything, such as clothes, umbrellas, coats, etc.

The hotel was great in a good location and we were able to walk everywhere. Some places were more distant. We stayed in room 602 which was on the same level as reception with a nice sized bathroom. and would stay in that room again. Breakfast is optional and ok. We arrived in Rome by car and had to park out of the ZTL zone of Rome in a carpark called Saba where I took out a mini subscription and it enabled me to park for 3 days for €50 (payable only by card - no cash) instead of the €88 offered by the internet. To get to the hotel we caught a taxi that cost us about €10.50 from Piazza di Spagna, Porta Pinciana exit from the car park to the hotel.

Overall it was good just under the bed was a bit dusty.
