Hotel Giolli Nazionale was our choice for one night in Rome and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the city's attractions on foot. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. I also appreciated the convenient luggage storage service, which allowed me to enjoy my last day without the hassle of carrying my bags. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in a prime location!

I wanted to mention that the water of the shower came out. While everything else was great, the leak was a bit inconvenient. It would be helpful if this could be addressed for future guests. Thank you!

The staff and accommodations were good, but unfortunately it is an old building with a tiny elevator that could not accommodate the two of us and the luggage at once. This required that I run up two flights of stairs while my wife rode up the elevator.

Breakfast was reasonable; however, breakfast service did not open until 7:30am. We skipped breakfast two mornings because we had excursions booked starting early in the morning and could therefore not enjoy breakfast prior to departing the hotel. In all my travels, I have never encountered breakfast service starting so late. I recommend that management consider starting breakfast service at 7:00am.

Clean and quite spacious room for four. A/C worked well and it was nice to return to the cleaned room at the hotel after walking around the city. Kind service from the staff, thank you Margherita, Federica, Riccardo, Ali, Tara and Cecilia! Easy to walk from this location to Fontana di Trevi, Colosseum, Termini, metro stations. Bus stop right in front. Nice restaurants and shops closeby. Breakfast was good but only tried it once. Room was quiet but some traffic noise occasionally. Hotel very calm in the corridors.

Via Nazionale is a bit loud with heavy traffic and noisy. Hotel has only a small elevator so maybe not accessible. Did not affect our stay as we’re fine with stairs.

The staff at the hotel were very polite and helpful. Rooms were small but clean and serviced daily well. The location was excellent and close to some great clothes shops, and local trattoria restaurants serving authentic Roman food. Distance to the centre was alittle far and about 9€ one way by taxi. I would recommend this place for your next visit to Rome as it was well priced too. There was a lift which was convenient.

Breakfast was good but would suggest changing at least a few items on the menu every few days.

The location is amazing, the room had everything we needed and the breakfast was perfect.

The furniture and overall decor is really aged. Although the room was always cleaned throughly it didn’t look the best. Definitely needs some renovation. The elevator is extremely small. You can barely fit a person and a baby stroller inside. It tales a bit of work and it’s always on high demand so there is always a wait.

Service was perfect, price was ok. Has a small fridge. Location excellent, 15 min walk to Termini, colosseum, Trevi fountain, a little longer to other places. Very connected through the bus stop that is across the street. Only hotel where I stayed that had AC when traveling through Paris, Italy and Germany

We stayed in the most basic room for a couple but it was very small! Bed was small but usable, felt a bit tight overall. If my wife was laying on the bed across with her feet out I had to ask her to move them so I could walk from one side of the room to the other.

Good location not too far from some nice restaurants and transit.

Very clean but the bathroom plumbing had a bad odour coming up through the toilet. Sounds like it was more of a city issue with older plumbing/sewers

The hotel has a fantastic location—centrally placed, making it easy to walk to key attractions and enjoy the local atmosphere. It truly adds to the convenience of exploring the city. I also want to highlight how clean and well-maintained the rooms and common areas were. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout my stay, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Overall, the cleanliness and location were definite highlights of the experience

The breakfast was surprisingly disappointing for a hotel that presents itself with high standards. As someone who values a hearty and well-balanced breakfast, I found the offerings quite underwhelming. What surprised me the most was the complete absence of olives—something I would expect even more from a hotel in Italy, a country renowned for its Mediterranean flavors. A few basic Mediterranean touches like olives, fresh vegetables, or even some local cheeses would have made a significant difference. I hope the hotel considers enhancing its breakfast menu to better reflect the culinary richness of the region.

From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us warmly, provided clear information, and gave excellent recommendations that made our stay even better. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The combination of the hotel’s prime location, excellent service, and Margarita’s genuine care made our visit truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city — we’ll definitely be back!

Location was very good with access to all areas and attractions by walking/bus/taxi. The room was very comfortable and the hotel was really clean with good attention to detail. Breakfast was continental - adequate but not exceptional. No variety day to day but excellent staff and perhaps limited by kitchen arrangements.

The building is lovely and extends to 5+floors - the lift can best be described as quaint, functioning but very small with reasonable capacity at 2 persons only. Staircase beautiful but challenging if on the 5th floor! It would have been really nice for the hotel to produce a compilation of local information - area map/local attractions and distances/recommended eating establishments/things to see/do/shops etc. The Hotel should provide mugs for use in bedroom with tea/coffee facilities - paper cups are really not on.
