Breakfast, good enough, fruit, pastry, fresh juice

Old building, with small spaces, old and shabby steps, smell of tobacco everywhere. The entrance that in the picture you think is the "Sistine Chapel", is actually small and with banal drawings. The elevator is small for a maximum of 2 people. The rooms are relatively small, with wooden windows so you can hear all the noise from Via Nationale. The bathroom is stupidly built, the shower that should be a daily pleasure, is a concentration not to slip in the bathtub that was installed by a weak plumber, even stuck to the wall. You have no space to move and it is dangerous, to slip. It is not that close to the tourist attractions, Trevi, Navona, Vatican, Colosseum. It can't be! The attractions in Rome are also dispersed. In no case ....do not make 400 Euro or more/day!

What an absolutely beautiful hotel this is! The staff are so friendly and helpful in all aspects of the hotel. The reception staff are always ready to help. The restaurant staff were helpful and kept up with the cleanliness of breakfast. The breakfast itself was phenomenal. There are so many options to choose from (their croissants and fruit being my favourite). Our bedroom was beautiful, clean, and also cool in temperature, which was definitely needed in the 34°c heat! The beds were quite possibly the comfiest I've had in any hotel I've stayed at. The location was also perfect. It was an 18-minute walk to the Colosseum one way and a 20-minute walk to the Trevi Fountain, etc, the other way. We weren't in the heart of the city life but close enough to get to most places on foot. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations, and I will forever recommend it to anyone I know travelling to Roma. Thank you, Exe!

There is nothing I didn't like.

Good location, with plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Walking distance to most key attractions. ( Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps all within approx 20 minutes. St Peters / Vatican a bit further away 40ish minute walk, Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice for Breakfast including eggs /bacon, cold meats etc, cereals , yoghurt , fruit, cakes & pastries. We were upgraded to a suite, so the room was very spacious. It overlooked an inner courtyard (so no view) but was actually pretty quiet for a city hotel.

The only negative comment I have is that whilst the WiFi in reception/ restaurant was ok , in the room it was poor or non existent at times.

The hotel is ideally located for shopping enthusiasts. On one side, you'll find a Mango store for clothing, and on the other, there are beautifully branded Italian shops. We had a wonderful shopping experience right in front of the hotel. Convenience is key, as there’s a bus stop nearby that takes you to various attractions, along with a supermarket just steps away. The rooms were not only nice and clean but also comfortable and, most importantly, safe. We booked two rooms: one with three beds, which was a perfect size for my children, and a double room for my husband and me. Each morning, we were greeted with a refreshing detox drink and fresh apples at the reception, adding a lovely touch to our stay. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

The location of the hotel is ideal. In the city centre easy to go everywhere. The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean.

I was one person travelling for 2 nights so the size of the room was fine, but if I had a bigger suitcase or we were two persons staying it would have been very tight. Additionally, I would not recommend a room from the front side especially on the lower floors as the road in front of the hotel is very central and it can be quite noisy.

However somebody entered our room and stole our money. The hotel management said that “It is not the first we hear such an event and go to the police”. YOUR MONEY MIGHT BE STOLEN. DONT STAY THIS HOTEL. If you will stay, don’t leave your precious staff in the room.

At the reception, we were met by very polite staff, who offered a very nice room on the first floor, but it was practically the second floor overlooking the main street. There were double-glazed windows and it was hushed. The room was large, bright and cozy. And the bathroom was huge. The breakfast was excellent. The location was excellent, all the main attractions were within walking distance. There was a bus stop in front of the hotel. nearby there is a cafe L'antica Fraschetta, Via Venezia, we tried a lot but it a the best pizza in Roma ! There were several brand stores on National Street. we will return to this hotel I recommend it !

Breakfast had everything and it was really good! The staff in general were very nice but the ones at the breakfast were soooooo good vibes and gentle. We loved them! You can see that rooms are old but very clean and well maintained. Piazza di Spagna and Fontana di Trevi are the closest attractions and you have all the Hoop On Hoop Off bus close by which is very helpful and the best way to reach the ancient part of the city.

We were 2 people and asked for a double room. They gave us a room with 3 beds (occupying a lot of space). I had to sleep in the small extra bed cause the mattress of one of the double was old and uncomfortable. Our window was directed to the avenida so sometimes it could be noisy.

Staff were very helpful. When leaving/checking out Gary saw us carrying suitcases down the stairs and took them down for us and checked us out of the hotel. Bed and pillows were comfortable, kettle with tea bags and coffee in room. Mini fridge. Large closets to hang clothes. Bathroom amenities shampoo, conditioner in shower. Soap and lotion at sink and hair dryer.

The shower was very small. Other than that, there wasn't anything to complain about.

Location and the room allocated was magnificent! We had a large sized balcony with good views! Room was a decent size and quite spacious! Hotel is located in a great area central to most landmarks. We had concerns about security of personal items based on reviews but locked everything in the safe and locked bags before we left each day and had no problems. Even if we hadn’t I feel everything would be fine. Staff were great!

Air condition was temperamental and had to have it liked at twice over 7 days but maintenance attended to it immediately.
