The location is fantastic .Very lovely small hotel. The roof top bar and the spar were both great too.Breakfast was incredible and we were spoilt gif choice with the selection on offer. The member of staff at breakfast called Julia( Gualia) was fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful to everyone and was so upbeat and friendly. The hotel arranged a taxi from the airport which was excellent they let us check in early check in and they up graded us too to a room with a huge balcony.

I could not find anything to fault this hotel and it was perfect for us.

The service was super good. The gentleman serving at reception whose name is Red, and he welcomed us with great hospitality. He was super polite and took his time to introduce us with all the facilities. He was super good and his service was top level. Really appreciate this guy. We will love to stay here again next time. Highly recommended! 💯

It was a fantastic location, very close to all the local attractions. You are very clpse to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps, with many many rsstaurants , shops etc nearby. The rooms were spacious, nice and clean. They were decorated nicely, and the bed was very comfortable! The air con worked well, and there was a fridge/ mini bar with room fpr your own water etc. Towels/ slippers were supplied too. You had to book the spa which was no problem at all, we booked it very last minute every day and enjoyed 45 minutes free with our children daily. (I think it was max capacity of 8!) The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were cleaned / fresh towels/ nespresso coffee pods replenished daily. There are toiletries there for you to use too. It was a fantastic stay all in all!

We weren’t in the hotel but in the seperate building which in less than 100 metres away so not too bad at all. It was a “block” in an apartment bulding which felt just like the hotel once inside the block. However the lift to get to the 5th floor (where the part of the hotel was) had a maximum capacity of two persons, which was a bit annoying for a family of four. Families maybe should atay in main bulding because of this. The lift also didn’t always work as the door wasn’t being shut properly, so was bit annoying having to carry luggage down 5 big flights of stairs!!

I'd definitely recommend! Staff professional, courteous, helpful, welcoming. Location excellent. Very comfy bed and super big towels! Good breakfast buffet. Roof top bar small but lovely and roof garden a great place to relax with lots of shade provided.

Small points...Instant coffee sachets in the bedroom. A machine or cafetiere would be welcome. Coffee at breakfast was not good. No dressing gown provided, and to use wellness facility it's compulsory to wear one, and there is a cost to get one. For the cost per room, a dressing gown should be included.

I love the location of our hotel. It is walking distance from Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and a lot of restaurants around the area. The staffs are friendly and very accommodating, especially Giullia, who always welcomes us with a big smile and ask us what we need during our breakfast time. She is very friendly and very hospitable. Breakfast is impressive. Thanks also to all the receptionists in Hotel 87 for their warm welcome, and for being very attentive to our needs, especially Red Mendoza, who took time to order our food outside during midnight when we were hungry and the hotel restaurant was already closed. To all the staff of Hotel 87, you deserved a well round of applause with your excellent service! God bless you all!!!😍😍😍

Nothing at all

Location is excellent. Bus stop very close to some tourist sites. Julia at breakfast was lovely & very friendly and made sure to ask if I needed anything. Elevator!! Important in Italy as some places fail to mention narrow stairs to get to rooms etc. Breakfast was good.

The bathrooms were so spacious, yet the shower cubicle was tiny!!! I’m not a big woman but was hitting the door, the taps with my arms. Absolutely tiny. I’m not sure if it was just my room on level 4… but for this reason I would nit be able to return with my husband or sons as there is no way a 6ft young man would fit in the shower cubicle. There was a bath also with the shower inside but they just make a huge mess.

**Location:** The hotel’s location is highly advantageous, situated within walking distance of numerous attractions. It is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Barberini train station, which offers direct access to the Vatican City and other attractions, including FCO airport. This proximity was a primary factor in our decision to stay here, as we avoided the need to use the bus network. Trevi fountain and Spanish steps are within close walking distance. **Reception Staff:** The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Although our rooms were not ready until 2:00 PM upon arrival, the staff allowed us to drop our bags and explore the area. Additionally, when we checked out as we had a late flight, there was a bag drop service, which saved us from carrying luggage around on our last day, which was again very thoughtful. **Rooms:** The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds and are meticulously cleaned daily. Fresh towels are provided daily, and the rooms are maintained to a high standard. The cleaning team is efficient and friendly. **Breakfast:** The breakfast selection during our stay was adequate, consisting of cereals and hot buffet-style food. The hotel also kindly provided breakfast boxes for us, as we were up early for a Sorrento and Amalfi trip. This was a thoughtful gesture by the hotel reception.

**Areas for Improvement:** * **Hotel WiFi:** The hotel’s WiFi service is severely lacking in coverage. Despite its availability, the signal is inadequate, even on the second floor. We conducted extensive testing of various areas of the hotel, but the signal remained poor. The WiFi service requires significant improvement and overhaul. If you are able to roam on your mobile network, I suggest you may need this if you wish to stay connected and contactable for messaging/email. * **Hotel Gymnasium:** The hotel gymnasium is outdated and inoperable. The equipment is not of a satisfactory standard, and it has never been open during the scheduled hours. I am an early riser, and it was never open at 8:00 AM. We were only able to complete one early workout due to the gym’s closure.

- Great location! 2 minutes from Fontana di Trevi - Staff is very friendly, Mr Red at the front desk is the awesomest guy + you can leave you baggage at the front desk after check-out - Restaurants, bars and stores right on the street - Very quiet room if you get the garden view room - Very clean

- very very very very veeery small room, you can't open the front door all the way because of the night stand. If you plan to not stay in the room very much then it is perfect, the location and the price make up for the size of the room.

The location of the hotel was perfect, less than a 5 minute walk from the Trevi fountain. The spa was a lovely add on to the trip and the rooftop bar was lovely for a quiet drink. When we arrived to the hotel on the first day we were presently surprised with a complimentary room upgrade! The room was fabulous and the outdoor area was lovely. The hotel staff were so kind and accommodating and added to the overall experience.

Our stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant. The room was clean and well-maintained with no issues whatsoever, and the shower was fantastic – great water pressure and temperature control, which made for a refreshing experience.

However, the one area that could use some improvement is the morning breakfast. Unfortunately, when I went to find a place to sit, all the tables were dirty. I couldn't locate any staff to assist, so I ended up cleaning the table myself as I didn't want to wait too long. It would be helpful to allocate a staff member specifically to monitor and clean the breakfast area during service hours, ensuring a smoother experience for guests.
