Location is very good room is comfortable and specious. It warms up very slow despite high temperature outside so it is possible to sleep whole night with airconditioning switched off.

Room we got was on 2nd floor without elevator we got confused regarding address and we had to walk from other location

Location is amazing - easy to find considering it isn’t an “obvious” hotel entrance, taxi from airport got us straight there. The street it is on feels safe and it is very near to the Spanish Steps. There are lots of food places nearby but far enough away that it doesn’t feel “busltley” on the way out. The hotel / room felt like a lovely spot to return to everyday, was clean and fresh and the air con is fantastic. Was perfect for returning to after being out in July Rome heat! The lady on reception was really welcoming and friendly. She gave us a map to show us the ropes and recommended some restaurants across the city to try. Explained how the minibar worked. Check in felt really relaxed and was a great welcome after travelling most of the morning.

We were on the 4th floor so the steps every day were an exercise challenge to say the least 😅 but that meant we were on the same floor as the steps to the gorgeous rooftop so was a positive! Even though the room slept three, it wasn’t the most spacious and only having one bathroom meant waiting around at times, but we managed just fine as didn’t spend much time there due to being out most of the day. It is just a room, no facilities at this particular building - worked for us but worth noting if you wanted a bar, restaurant within your hotel. There’s plenty around and well within walking distance.

the radiator/aircon is broken, so one of the room is very warm, it was broken on 24 degree but it feels warmer than that; and the room is next to the road so cannot really leave the window open when sleeping. The reception is in a really high floor, the lift only fits 1 person with 1 suitcase. if you are travelling with lots of bags/suitcases, its too difficult to get up there.

The rooms were bigger than expected and recently renovated. The pricepoint was very fair considering we travelled in easter.

We were a bit suprised that the apartment and the double room was almost 1 km. walking distance from each other.

Lovely stay! Just returned from a perfect 2 night stay at Tritone Top House. First time travelling alone with two young children and found the location was excellent. There is so much right on the doorstep of this hotel from beautiful cobbled streets awash with restaurants and shops to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon just a few minutes walk away. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to the Metro Station and the hop on / off bus stops. Tritone Top House is on the 3rd floor of an old traditional building that can be reached by stairs or a small lift. Check-in was seamless, we were greeted by a lovely lady (sorry I didn’t catch your name) who checked us in and offered a safe place to leave our bags until our room was ready a short time after. We were extremely grateful for an early check in after a very early start. Our room was clean and modern and the beds comfy. There was a small drinks fridge with reasonably priced minibar options and a selection of biscuits and pastries for purchase. There was also a kettle and complimentary tea & coffee. The Shower did take a few minutes to warm up & then the temperature could be a little temperamental but this didn’t cause us any issues. Just a heads up really not to jump straight in! A folder containing useful information for your stay and the tips on local area was a helpful a guide. Whilst this hotel doesn’t have a 24hour reception we had no issues in communicating with the hotel prior to and during our stay. The Reception office was open from 11am until late afternoon so bear this in mind before you arrive and you shouldn’t have any issues. We will definitely be back to visit the beautiful city of Rome again one day (soon I hope!) and I would definitely consider another stay here.

The inside entrance to the hotel (main corridor off the near the downstairs lift) did feel a little unloved and could do with freshening up to create a more inviting impression.

We stayed here during our recent trip to Italy and truly appreciated the warm, authentic experience this place offers. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything We needed—from offering local tips to arranging transportation. Their kindness made our stay even more memorable. The location is fantastic—perfect for exploring the city after a day of sightseeing. We loved being close to all the action, yet having a peaceful place to return to in the evenings. The charm and character of the building really give you that classic Italian feel.

Too hot to stay in the terrace, no way to sit. One thing to keep in mind: as is common in many traditional European buildings, there’s no elevator. After a long day of walking through beautiful Italian streets, the stairs can feel like a bit of a workout.

Tritone Tophouse is the perfect location for a couple even family to base themselves in Rome. A short stroll to Fontana De Trevi , Spanish Steps to name a few. A pleasant walk to the Colessium and many , many Tier 1 boutiques. I suggest you research where to eat but this was not an issue. The rooms are fantastic , clean and moderately spacious enough . The highlight was opening the windows to take in beautiful ROMA.

Whilst wet weather can dampen your spirits and the train can be dodgy , there was no real space to dry out the wet stuff. Umbrellas are pretty poor from the vendors.

Very good service from the staff. Communicated via Whatsapp instant messaging. They also arranged private transportation from the airport to the hotel, and the hotel to the port for us.

City of Rome is having a water issue I heard. Try to take shower fast, and don't waste water, if you have a large party in your room. The hotel staff tried to accommodate us as much as possible though. No issues with water after we cut down our showering time to no more than 5 mins per person.

The location of our apartment was so perfect! We were about 5 minutes walking distance to Trevi Fountain and all the busy central part of Rome. Absolutely fantastic to be able to get around by foot with ease. The apartment was very clean and large so we had plenty of room for our group of 8 people. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

The elevator was small and only 2-3 people could fit in. But I'm grateful there was an elevator because we were on the 4th floor and those stairs would have been too much to handle with luggage and the heat of Rome in the summer.

The staff was very nice and polite, the locations was really great and wonderful views aty night. we honestly had a great experience here. The Air con was Ice Cold which was a blessing in 39 degree heat. the rooms were very clean, fresh and modern.

The Hotel was brilliant, really was a great place The one thing i would say about the area is to watch out for the tourist tax, we had food in one place which was over priced, also had 3 cakes and 2 bottles of water which we were charged 45 euros for. We did find some really great places if you walk up from the hotel which were at normal pricing, my advice would be to check prices where ever you go if your ordering anything.
