I had a 'Double for Single' that provides just enough space for one person, though the bathroom in comparison is spacious, all lined with marble. (the room could be upgraded by a wardrobe and a safe locker, but these are minor deficiencies) The shower was in a condition like new. The bed allows for a comfortable rest. Maintenance of the room is done thoroughly daily, everything is well-kept. I left my valuables in the hotel safe, which is always possible due to 24 hour concierge service. Situated in the heart of Rome, 'Palazzo Cardinali' is a most convenient starting point to explore many places in Rome by foot. The area including Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, Via del Tritone is within walking distance. For shopping, you may find the store 'Rinascente' across the road, other shops with famous brands are found around the corner. All of the staff at the hotel do an excellent job on servicing. The concierge at the desk are permutet among the B.ZAR-hotels, they care about Your stay and are always open to questions. They are knowledgeable about history and art objects worthwhile to be visited and give You background information about Roma. Either exact information how to get there is given to You or alternatively, calling a Taxi is a matter of a few minutes. To mention names, I want to give my thanks to Gabriele, Alexandro, Leonardo and Alice for their invaluable advice on Roma. For the breakfast buffet, they present a rich and fresh assembly of ingredients that meet your taste in every way. Thanks to the cheerfulness of Jasmine and Veronika, who care for the breakfast buffet with both profession and love, I always left the breakfast table in an invigorated and uplifted mind. I was highly satisfied with my sojourn at 'Palazzo Cardinali' .

Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Rome! I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is simply unbeatable—right in the heart of Rome, within walking distance of all the major attractions, charming cafes, and excellent restaurants. Whether you want to explore the Colosseum, the Vatican, or simply stroll through the beautiful streets, everything is just a short walk or an easy metro ride away. The hotel itself was impeccable. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic Roman charm. The staff was incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with recommendations and ensure a seamless experience. Breakfast was delightful, with a great selection of fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee to start the day. The attention to detail throughout the hotel truly made my stay special. Everything was nice, wifi wasn't stable in our room but it didn't matter that much our phone had good service. Tissues in the room and toilet would have been nice

EXCELLENT! I would highly recommend this hotel. From Gabriele at the Front Desk and all the staff, and also Veronica at the Breakfast Café, for our Americana coffees, all were so friendly and helpful. Room was clean and made every day. We picked this hotel because of the reviews and the location, and I was VERY HAPPY that we did. Within walking distance to a lot of attractions, such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon. Definitely wear good walking shoes. If we were to return, I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located centrally among all the main attractions, while being on the quieter street with some retail shops. Staff are exceptionally friendly and they even offer free tours as part of the BZAR group. We had lost our luggage at transit airport and they were in contact with the airport to make sure we receive our luggage with timely updates. Could not appreciate them enough! In particular a male staff whom we forgot his name, who helped us with check in at 11+am on 1 May, was so helpful and patient and we would totally come back to stay with Hotel City just for his hospitality!

We had a large group of nine and ended up reserving all of the rooms, which made the entire experience feel like a private resort just for us. Every single space was stylish, cozy, and incredibly clean—exactly what you hope for when traveling with family and friends. Whether we were relaxing indoors, gathering together for meals, or enjoying the surrounding area, everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The attention to detail, the ambiance, the seamless check-in process—it was truly flawless from start to finish. Staff worked very hard to help with our problem. They were very kind. They moved us to another room to accomodate the issue. We were very appreciative of the staff's professionalism and dedication to making sure our stay was comfortable.

The air conditioning was not working in our room. The temperature was 95 outside and when you returned from a full day of site seeing you NEEDED air. The staff worked very hard to get the air conditioning fixed, and when they couldn't they moved us to another room for more comfort.

All the staff were good and they made us feel special. This is the principal aspect of the hospitality industry. My family was pampered, greeted well and all information provided, whether it was for nearby attractions, taxis etc. Special thanks to Gabriela, Anjelina, Luisatho, Houssane and Veronica. The room was big and clean. We were very happy with everything. Breakfast was good. We were given breakfast in boxes as some of our tours were very early. Centrally located. I would recommend it to all. Spanish steps and Trevi fountain are very near. This hotel has a history. Kindly know about it.

I love this hotel, rooms are so simple but comfortable. Beautiful building located so close to many attractions with great bars and restaurants nearby. If you fancy to nice top of after breakfast there is a Trecaffe literally at the doorstep of the hotel, fabulous place, I can sit there for hours. Overall I highly recommend as well for such welcoming and attentive hotel staff. Can't wait to come back there.
