Nice staff. Good location. Good breakfast. The room was simple and a little bit used up already and need repair but there were everything we needed and generally we are very satisfied with the choose of hotel.

Shower was defective. We were there in January and room was little cold during night.

Location was great, staff was really friendly, Colosseum is in walking distance. It was also clean.

Room was a bit small, bad wasn't long enough. Water pressure was a bit weak.

The location was perfect 3 minutes walk to termini,3 minutes to santa maria majiore and 20 minutes walking to trevi. Bus and metro station were 2 min walking The room was clean and comfortable The ac was working properly which was essential for the heat wave in july The hotel exceeded my expectations and we were able to explore everything on foot. There was very nice restaurants around We would return every night by 12 am and felt completely safe unlike was its said about the termini area .

We really liked the extremely friendly staff; they helped us with all our requests during our stay. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was varied (although for some cultures, it might have too many sweet options and not enough filling food). The hotel is close to Termini Station and other means of transport, and the terraces in front of the hotel are great. Overall, we were satisfied and will definitely return!

We didn’t like the elevator, which can only accommodate two people and is quite old, though I understand that it is part of the building’s overall structure—an upgrade would be very useful! Although it’s not related to the hotel, it’s worth noting that after a certain hour in the evening, there are a lot of homeless people on the street. Being near the train station, we didn’t feel very safe after 10 PM, but this is strictly a personal opinion and has nothing to do with the hotel itself. We also recommend more breakfast options, as we ended up eating the same thing every morning for four days.

I loved how close it is to Roma Termini and other big spots like the Colosseum and the Pantheon for example. It’s easy to walk to some big things.

It is a great deal for the price and location, but it is smaller than you might expect. That being said though, I would choose it again when I come back to Rome because I’m my opinion it was a good deal, I felt safe, and it was clean and the AC once in your room is good.

Excellent place to stay! Everything was very cozy and beautiful, and we truly appreciated the care put into guest comfort. Especially, I want to mention Marco, the Italian guy at the reception — he was very friendly, attentive, and professional. His warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you very much for such wonderful service! We highly recommend this hotel, especially if you want to feel at home. Everything will be fine!

excellent location to the train station, 15-20 minutes walk to the coliseum. basically everything is within walking distance. there are many cafes nearby. the reception staff is friendly. all issues were resolved promptly! the room is not very big in size, but this is not critical. for the money, expectations were met.

breakfast was not very varied, there was not enough omelette and sausages. from meat only ham and salami.

Convenient for the Termini, and transportation, the Serena is a well run hotel over several floors, served by a cage lift. Reception was efficient and friendly, and much appreciated. I stayed in a single room which, to be honest, was small, but comfortable, with a big window to the street. Good linens, pillow, very clean and pleasant bathroom. A good hotel choice!

The single room is on the small side, so not for the claustrophobic, or those with much luggage, though mine had a big window which helped.

I had an incredible experience at this hotel! The location couldn't have been more perfect – right in the heart of Rome, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and within easy reach of both the train and bus stations. Being able to walk to all the major tourist attractions was a huge plus for me. What truly made my stay outstanding was the warm and friendly staff. Their hospitality went above and beyond, making me feel right at home. I can't recommend this place enough for its unbeatable location and the wonderful people who work here. If you're planning a trip to Rome, this is definitely the place to stay!
