The room was amazing. Old vintage building sectioned into rooms and the ceiling and floors were original which added to the charm of the room. The bathroom was large and updated with a great shower and vanity and all the amenities. We appreciated the attention to detail. Rachelle was a fabulous contact, very responsive to all of my questions. She provided detailed directions to the location with after-hour check-in instructions and also provided assistance with reserving a taxi to the airport the next morning. Breakfast was included and delivered to our room on a tray at a pre-selected time. The location was perfect. We had stayed in Rome before, but this location opened out to some streets we had not been on before which had numerous well-placed and well-attended restaurants. Not far at all from the main plaza. It was a nice surprise.

We had trouble with the lock to the room (using a key). I forgot to mention it to Rachelle, or I'm sure she would have addressed it. Everything else was great.

The hotel is ideally situated near the Piazza Navona, making travel convenient throughout Roma. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the staff was professional and responsive to any request. When I arrived, MJ provided maps and beneficial information to make my stay perfect. My room with a balcony was the ideal place to enjoy a morning espresso and listen to the church bells. As a solo traveler, I appreciated how safe I felt with the added security in the building. The breakfast each morning was delicious, too!

A very nice, beautifully maintained and decorated boutique flat of 6 guest rooms in the heart of Rome. Extremely clean and tended to. Modern bathrooms. Beds very comfortable. Excellent made to order breakfast served in your room. Rooms are fairly small. Not a full-service hotel but has most amenities one needs. Desk is manned only in the morning by MJ, a jewel. Location is prime for sight seers surrounded by restaurants, caffes, bars, shops and people. However, not noisy by Roman standards. This is an excellent choice and we would definitely return.

The listing makes it unclear that this is not a traditional hotel, but that is something to remember in future bookings on this site.

We stayed at the AMAZING Le Suite del Barone for our 10 year anniversary and if I could give them10++++++ stars I would! Paoula and Arthur made us feel like we were royalty and went way above and beyond to make our celebration the most special experience ever. To say that this was the best stay of our two week trip in Europe would be an understatement! Everything from our arrival to departure (didn't want to leave) was nothing short of FABULOUS!!! Staying here was an absolute dream and completely blew our minds away. This is saying a lot because I am a self-proclaimed hotel snob and have stayed in some incredible large and boutique hotels around the world. Le Suite del Barone is a true gem with the most amazing hosts. I cannot wait to go back and stay for even longer next time! <3

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

We loved this hotel! It is on a quiet street right next to Piazza Navona, so the location was great. We had a room with a balcony. It was clean, well decorated, and had a super comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and brought us breakfast to our room every morning at our requested time. We will stay here again when we return to Rome.

The location is excellent. We were at walking distance within a mile of major places. The staff members are very helpful and obliging. The breakfast was simple but very good (eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruits,…) This place is located on the fourth floor. When the taxi driver dropped us off in the alley and pointed to us an unmarked modest door, I panicked- I was expecting a hotel or at least an establishment with an official sign/logo . The door led us to a narrow unwelcoming hallway, which led us in panick hoping to find a lodging place. There is a lift, but you would still need to climb one floor.

No sign or logo of this establishment I wasn’t expecting to climb up to the fourth floor to find out that we found a right place to stay. If I were better prepared that this is b &b on the top floor, I would have been better prepared.

We had a great time! The location of the hotel is excellent, right opposite it there is also an extremely pleasant restaurant. In the hotel, cleanliness is at a very high level, and the bed is so comfortable! But, best of all, MJ, our receptionist was so nice and welcoming! He shared valuable information about Rome and answered any questions we had. I recommend this hotel to anyone who would choose a small hotel with a personal touch and attention to every guest!

Amazing location and Paola was very helpful with the sights to see and helping us get transfers to the hotel and to the airport. Our room was really beautiful and clean. My husband and I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony.

Unfortunately the AC was not working properly, there were two power outages during our stay, which is not the hotels fault but I think it did something to our AC unit. Rome was very hot during our stay so having very reliable AC in the room would’ve been much better.

Comfortable quiet near all the sites! Room service for breakfast with menu and time selection was an unexpected pleasure!

Not really seven minutes from piazza Navona— more like 15 minutes. I find you always need to double the time. Europeans tell you it takes to walk.

The room was a nice size, with a nice modern bathroom. We were worried it would be noisy being in a busy part of Rom, but it was very quiet. The breakfast was really good. Great options and plenty of food. I liked that they ask you what you'd like so as to not be wasteful.

The stairwell of the building is dimly lit and grungy. But that's probably typical for the old building. Once on the floor of the boutique hotel. all is very nice.
