The view over the town is absolutely stunning - highly recommend an ocean view room as waking up and going to sleep to that view was just wonderful. It was really nice to be away from the bustle of the town to relax in the peace and quiet - I especially loved lying in the hot tubs for hours reading. The free shuttles are really easy to use and book, and are an experience going down the super steep and narrow roads from the hotel! Luigi is fantastic for any issues you have, he could not have been more helpful. The lunches and dinners are delicious. They are slightly pricy but no more than what you'd pay in a nice restaurant in Sorrento, and it is all home cooked freshly for you! The highlight was sharing a whole spiegoli fish with my husband as the sun set - literal magical moment of the holidays with the best fresh fish I've ever had. And of course, I cannot go without saying what a good boy Guido the hotel dog is - the most lovely and friendly boy who just wants to say hi every time he sees you! Overall we had such a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

Although the free shuttles are brilliant, they run on a set timetable which means you do need to plan your schedule around them. We found that fine but can imagine it wouldn't work if you wanted the flexibility of wandering out into Sorrento whatever time you wanted. It is a compromise of getting more peace and quiet out of Sorrento (and a nicer hotel for the price) for more planning of your schedule.

Beautiful family run villa. With stunning views. The family were lovely and accommodating. If you want authentic and feel like you are staying with family and want quiet and lovely views this is the place for you. Had a couple of dinners at the villa that were lovely and a lot home grown and cooked.

The restriction of the shuttle - although very accommodating and happy with a whatapp if time needs to be changed. I felt I was on a time limit all the time as most places are an hour away by train or bus so had to leave places at 15.00 or 16.00 to get 17.00 shuttle back to get ready for the 19.00 back in for dinner, otherwise it would be the 19.00 back and out to eat at 21.00 or stay out all day. Just something to be aware of if you like dressing up for dinner and freshening up. Breakfast was ok and the same every day.

Property was very nice. Wonderful bed and breakfast. Great view down on Sorrento. Luigi and the family were wonderful hosts who couldn’t do enough for you and helped arrange travel plans and any other needs. The shuttle was a must as the property has a very small entry road that is inaccessible by taxi. Home made dinner offered was delicious and great quality. Rooms are quaint and clean. Overall had a great experience staying here.

Nothing that we didn’t like. Travellers need to be prepared to ensure use of shuttle down to Sorrento and lunch and dinners prepared at the property.

Villa Pane is a very special place. You could pick a fancier place than this one but you’ll never get the warmth, the welcome, the kindness and the opportunity to be served by the owners of the hotel who make you feel like part of their family. They make the food they serve, they have fresh fruits, veggies and herbs they cultivate themselves and the main ingredient in all they cook is authenticity and love for what they do. Yes, there are a few details here and there but nothing to important that could change our fantastic experience. The shuttle service is a must. We purchased 2 bottles of their own home made olive oil to take back home. Their golden retriever Guido is super cute and docile. Miriam, Luigi, Ana Maria and Giovanni: Thank you for your hospitality!!!!!!!!

The view from the room balcony is beautiful. We were able to watch a beautiful sunset.

The location is hard to find and reach. Extremely narrow road to access their parking. Only recommend by the host if you have a really small car, like a fiat 500. We rented a fiat panda and managed to get there but it wasn’t easy. As even the host mentioned to us, only do it if you are a good driver. We were driving downhill and we weren’t able to see the sign to the property, maybe it’s easier to spot it if you were trying to get there coming from the opposite direction. We also didn’t have a chance to use the outdoor jacuzzi as they close it at 19:30 and only opened at 10:30, it was a shame as the view from the garden was stunning and we could have being just chilling in the water watching the sunset.

This lovely hotel provides classic Italian hospitality: great food and wine, kind staff, comfortable rooms (and pet-friendly - bonus!). The view is spectacular, and we loved having our own terrace (even in February).

Having a spectacular view means that you are up high, so the roads are a little daunting for a Canadian from Ontario. It was also a little tricky to find, tho the directions and photos from the hotel were very helpful, once we oriented ourselves within Sorrento. We found it helpful to use Google maps to find the restaurants along the route, and then follow the hotel’s directions thereafter.

A lovely accommodation with very helpful hosts We stayed at villa pane for 4 nights in May, a great location away from the busyness of sorento town, great views, surrounded by countryside. Hot tub and chill area in the garden. Guests will need to be organised with arranging the shuttle service into sorrento and back (provided by the accommodation) and factoring it into your day, however this was extremely helpful and easy to do and if runs several times a day. We had one evening meal which was all fresh produce from their garden and farm. The staff are all very accommodating and friendly and willing to answer any questions you have about the area. Friendly dog Guido. We wish we had more time to spend here!

The hotel greeter was an extremely friendly Labrador. I'm guessing this is a family run business, and it felt very homely. Dinner ingredients included lots of herbs grown in the garden.

Possibly because I didn't read the instructions, I wasn't aware of the shuttle service. Luckily our taxi driver was a relative of the owners who took us up to the very narrow road leading to the property and called for the hotel's narrow minibus to complete the journey. The hotel is a bit remote, but the regular rides offered compensate for that.

Liked the location, a very calm area above the more hectic city center. Also we had access to a garden with sun beds which was very nice. The staff were super nice and helpful. Felt like you visited friends.

You depend on the shuttle to and from the city center. It is not possible to walk from the hotel. The shuttle goes quite often though so it wasn’t a big problem but something to take into consideration. Also you could hear through the walls easily, a bit annoying sometimes.
