Great place on island. It is a family run business, so you feel bit like "at home" or on a visit. There was a nice view from balcony to the lake. Also during the breakfat you have marvelous view on the lake. You can reach this accomodation quite well - it is not far from the port in Peschiera Maraglio.

There is not much space in the room to put you things, but generally you don't go there to stay in the room. You have to count to pay parking in Sulzano and be ready to take all your stuff with you on the boat.

Perfect location next to the lake. Very close to the Ferry terminal. The room is very neat ( cleaned every day and towels changed), a window and a balcony overlooking the lake. The food is amazing. Breakfast is sumptuous with home grown fruits, home made cakes and marmalades. They use olive oil of their own production. Nicola and the staff (family members) are very generous and kind. The best accommodation to make you want to come again n again.

No elevator to the second floor. But Nicola n his staff helped us carry the bag upstairs.

The location was brilliant! Open the shutters of your room or walk out on your balcony for an amazing view across Lake Iseo. Breakfast was also amazing - croissants and pastries cooked inhouse. Waking to the smell of these cooking in the morning was amazing. Only a short walk to one of the main ferry stops with lots of shops and beautiful church. This family run hotel was the best stay of our Italian holiday.

The room was very pleasant especially with the balcony which had a lake view. The breakfast was very good, the room was spotless and the staff most helpful. Nico helped us plan our route to Sarnico as the ferry schedule was not as we expected. The journey by boat provided a very scenic tour of the island. We loved watching the grebes caring for their young on the lake. We would definitely return to La Foresta.

As we were in the end of June, there were mosquitos so we couldn't enjoy the view from the balcony. There is a restaurant on ground floor and it seems to be popular, as it was fully booked at dinner time, so make the reservation in advance. The tables have fantastic lake view. The town is small and there are few other restaurants. The breakfast is Italian, do not expect the variety :)

The location is stunning with uninterrupted views of the lake. It is also a short walk from where the boats drop you off at Peschiera Meraglio. The rooms are squeaky clean. Imagine.... falling asleep to the sound of the water lapping against the outside of the boat and waking up to the sound of birds.

I didn't miss not having WiFi or TV but having a minibar in the room would have been nice 😊

I loved the family vibe of this hotel. There are no flash rooms, overfilled with stuff not needed. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the view was amazing One of the best restaurants in the island. Sitting on your baloney with a chilled glass of white wine....perfect.

Staff were amazing- very helpful and friendly: the kind that care about the family establishment. Dinner was surprisingly good with beautiful view. Close to the town but just far enough away to be quiet.

Room was simple but clean and had a balcony with shutters.

Being on an island gives it extra charm. Easily accessible by ferry. Local minibuses can be used to explore the island. The hotel is located right next to the lake, where a nice promenade of olive trees begins. We had a lake view room which was very nice. The hotel has its own restaurant.

There are only sweet dishes for breakfast, but this is typical for Italy.

The viu was outstanding. Food in restaurant was emaizing little expensive but good food deserve good pay. Owner and staff really friendly and welcoming. Definitly will be back

No kettle in the room. That was new to me.
