A wonderful accommodation, the landscape is fabulous, surrounded by mountains. The room is simple and clean, most of the furniture is made of wood. There are shutters on the window, so the temperature inside is pleasant. A small refrigerator would fit in the room and would be a great help to the guests. Secure parking is available. The staff is kind and helpful. If we visit this place once, we will definitely return.

I had a very pleasant stay. The garden is wonderful to sit outside and the room is clean and nice and comes with a balcony or terrace. Also perfect to sit outside in the evening or dry your running clothes. I had a room facing the street so it was a bit noisy from the traffic especially in the morning. There are also rooms on the back of the building with should be more quiet. The breakfast is nothing fancy, but there is definitly enough stuff to choose from. Coffee for breakfast is do it yourself from a fully automatic coffee mashine which is the only thing I did not like. I missed a good italian cappucino from a portafilter machine in the morning. But the automatic one was still all right. Can recommend this hotel for a couple of days when passing through.

This hotel was a gamble, approx. 40 minutes of our travel along Lake Como to get to Lichtenstein, but the drive there was fabulous. Proper bendy country roads straight up in the mountains. There is not much to do around, but the dinner in the restaurant was very reasonable priced and it was a lovely steak. The view around the hotel is spectacular, rooms have been recently decorated/refurbished ( need a couple of covings, but but ). I woke up early next morning with Deer grassing on the field just outside my room :-)

Parking, they don't have a big car park

I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was good and the food was nice. I also appreciate how helpful staff were, since they helped me resolve a parking problem at another municipality. The location is nice to visit nearby mountains. There are several hiking spots not far, accessible by car or motorcycle. The towns at the lake coast are also easily accessible.

Our room, with a balcony was excellent. The onsite restaurant was excellent. All staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The lift was a great bonus for my elderly parents. We found it easier at times to use the stairs. My parents had access to the large balcony on the 2nd floor, so my family of 8 gathered there in the evening and enjoyed the magnificent view. We loved our stay.

Lack of real milk for cereal, but that's a cultural issue and not a problem.

Everything was just great! Our two rooms on the first floor (4 and 5) shared a terrace with deck chairs. Wooden furniture in clean, spacious rooms. Everything was great . We really liked it! thank you!

Lift to upper floors, good WiFi, parking for our motorbikes, good breakfast very helpful and friendly staff especially the young lad who translated everything into English. Shuttle service to cable.car,

Spacious room and plenty of free parking. The restaurant was excellent as was the included breakfast. Beautiful views from your own private balcony. Great hotel for travellers with cars/bikes, nice road up to it from the lake!

Rooms can be a little noisy from passing cars and rowdy football teams! The road noise is not constant though.

We stayed in Sassi Rossi for 3 nights with my husband, and it was one of the best stays on our trip. The place is calm and charming, you feel at home, and at the same time, you can quickly get anywhere in the Lake Como area from there. The restaurant is really good, we ate there every evening and everything was delicious. If we decide to go to Northern Italy once more, we definitely return to this hotel.

I loved waking up to the dawn chorus- incredible birdsong! Also the cat was a welcome addition!

The breakfast was ok but not great- too much cakes/ biscuits/ sweet stuff. Could’ve done with more fresh fruit, yogurt and good bread.
