First and foremost the check-in went well and Domenic was very helpful. We asked questions and these were always answered. Our room had a balcony with tables and chairs. It was practically on the lake and was stunningly beautiful. Angelo who also manned the reception area in the mornings was incredibly obliging and when asked would go out of his way and beyond to make sure that when we went anywhere he would help look up confusing ferry etc. timetables and would also phone various places to make sure they were open and still had spaces etc. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Samuele who also worked at the bar and restaurant a few days was also very helpful in many ways and when asked advised us of what weather was doing when travelling by Bernina Express to Switzerland with a local app he has. I don't know the names of other staff members who also were eager to please. Apart from our room being on the lake (so to speak )so the view was magnificent, the room was furnished with lots of drawers, hanging space and shelves. It also had a small fridge and a functioning kettle and complimentary tea sachets. Everything was just right. The bathroom had a shower over the bath and the water was always hot inasmuch as the right temperature hot. Complimentary soap, shower gel, shampoo, shower caps etc were provided. The room was cleaned well everyday. There are honestly no negative points I can think of. The breakfast was also more than adequate and it is taken in the panoramic all-glass extension which overlooks the lake. In the evenings this serves as the restaurant which is also open to the public called La Dolce Vita and the food and service we found excellent. No restaurant in Bellano has this view that we saw anyway.But we did eat at other restaurants there. The hotel is only a max 15 min walk with luggage but about 10 mins without from the station of Bellano where we arrived from Milan. Many trains from different parts of area stop...

There wasn't anything we did not like. Very small point but because of its location we could not see a front door to the hotel when we first arrived and you have to walk down and squeeze past security lever/bar for cars as there is very adequate private parking past this. We had arrived on foot.

It is a beautiful old villa with exquisite interior design and breathtaking views of the lake. It has a private beach and a jacuzzi out ih the open. The food was great and the rooms were comfortable. The staff was anazing, very welcoming, warm and professional. We received a very personal treatment, information and care were at our disposal 24/7. Truly wonderful staff! If we ever return to Como this will definitely be our choice for a stay.

Our rooms were located on separate floors so it was a bit uncomfortable passing from one floor to the other, but we were a large group so it can be expected

The location (on the lake with magnificent views from every room and away from the tourist traps that other towns offer), the food (the chef delivers delicious meals at dinner and a wide assortment at breakfast), the views are to die for and most importantly the staff who cannot do enough for you and always with a smile on their face - Allesandra, Carola and Stefano in the restaurant are delightful and Stefano on to t desk charming. Last but not least - Angelo - the general manager needs a special mention - he was amazing in the run up to our holiday - helping with our itinerary, suggesting private boat companies, taxis etc. No request was too much for him. We travelled with my elderly parents and all the staff made them feel so special. What an amazing hotel - we’ll definitely be back!

Nothing not to like.

The location of this property right on Lake Como puts it in a category of its own. Our room had a big door that opened to a balcony on the lake so we could hear the water lapping at the rocky beach right below. The dining room where breakfast (complimentary) and dinner (with reservations) are served also looks out on the water. The food for both meals was really excellent. But what makes this hotel very special is the staff, all of whom are kind and attentive. It was a wonderful experience!

We booked the suite which was among the best rooms and didn’t regret as we slept with the curtains open. Amazing view of the lake and opposite village. And the sound of the waves…Angelo helped in making sure we made the most of our two days there despite the rain. Thank you 🙏 The view in the breakfast room and restaurant was amazing. We had dinner one day and the gnocchi and fish from the lake was excellent!

The pillows were not so comfortable…Body lotion could be added to the bathroom amenities. Breakfast could be improved. There weren’t fresh fruits or fresh fruit juice and i find it sad for the price we paid.

The property was located in a beautiful quiet town which made it much more enjoyable as it felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was a short walk to the ferry terminal and surrounding restaurants which made getting around fairly easy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Angelo who gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. He even offered to drive my partner and I to the nearby bus stop when it was pouring with rain. The view from our room was unbelievable, as well as having access to a private beach with daybeds where we could enjoy relaxing by the lake looking out onto the mountains. We would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying in Lake Como, and can confidently say that we will be back!

We cannot fault much at all, however the beds were slightly uncomfortable due to having two single mattresses which would separate during the night.

We loved our stay here. The staff and owner were very friendly, happy to talk and give local guidance. Our room faced the lake so we had exceptional views. We ate at the restaurant one evening which we also enjoyed. This was more than we'd normally spend on a hotel, but we expected Lake Como to be expensive. It was a treat, and we took full advantage of being able to swim from the private beach. We also found Bellano to be a great place, off the beaten track but still with the charm of being on Lake Como.

Our room was relatively small and the view slightly obscured by the large flags flapping in the breeze - we noticed some of the other residents had discretely wrapped the flags as we did.

The setting of the hotel is lovely - a short walk from both the train station or ferry so accessible to all the main locations but lovely and quiet. The room was great - a good size with a balcony right on the lake and fantastic views. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was good and the setting is ideal.

Generally nothing - the only complaint I could have was that the light in the hallway to our room was in a motion sensitive switch that couldn’t be turned off. If you got up to use the bathroom at night it meant the light came on albeit for a short time. Other than that the hotel was great
