After a terrible experience at another hotel nearby, Residenza Palline by Hili truly saved our Roman holiday. The moment we stepped into the property, we knew we had made the right choice. Everything about the space was clean, calm, and beautifully presented. The self-check-in process was smooth and easy to follow, with clear instructions provided ahead of time. Even though everything was digital, communication was fast, responsive, and helpful. We always felt supported, even without in-person staff on site. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, with attention to every detail—comfortable bedding, great air conditioning, thoughtful amenities, and a cozy, relaxing vibe. It felt more like a stylish city apartment than a hotel room, which we really appreciated. The location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from the Vatican, Castel Sant’Angelo, and many charming streets and cafes. Despite being in the heart of Rome, the room was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to rest well after long days of exploring. What impressed us most was how everything just worked seamlessly, especially after such a stressful start to our trip. We felt safe, welcomed, and instantly at ease. Residenza Palline by Hili turned everything around for us, and we are so grateful we found this place when we needed it most. Location was terrific with lots of restaurants and other conveniences nearby. Steps away from the Vatican and nearby attractions. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. Coffee provided was very nice. Easy check-in, instructions provided were very clear. Working AC was a live saver in the summer heat.

The aerator in the bathroom sink faucet needs to be replaced or cleaned. The water flow from the faucet was very anemic. The hair dryer has a plug that doesn’t seem to fit in any outlet. Would be nice if there was an iron and microwave oven in the unit but since these were not listed as available amenities this is only a suggestion to add, not a complaint by any means.

The location is great. Beds are very comfortable. The balcony was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee. The room was also very quiet.

We had a WiFi issue that took 24+ hours to resolve. It's clear that when you contact the property different people reply. So we had to keep explaining what our issue was. And different people told us to do the same thing again and again, which amounted to "turn it off and turn it on again." Only when someone came to the property (on our second day) did they believe us that it wasn't working. Also, I think the person who handles IT for the property was not working at this time. When the issue was finally resolved, the WiFi worked great.

It was soooooo clean!!! Amazing!!!!!!! Airco was working very well! Nespresso coffee machine is always very nice. Good shower with wonderful smelling shower gel!! I’m buying it as of now for my self as well. Location is TOP!!! And housekeeper is such a nice lady!! Price was not cheap but still affordable, so great!

All of the below are details. It’s really small but sufficient. Not a lot of space to hang clothes or arrange your stuff though. Apartment above has some noisy kids… but hey, they are kids. Bong, bong from the ceiling, but only during the day. No issue after 9pm. Oops, one of the night lamps was not working. But really a detail. No lift, but the stairs are very easy.

Location is superb, right next to St Peters Square and the Borgo Pio run of restaurants and bars. Apartment is secure and down a quiet side street so very little noise at night. Kitchenette is perfect for city breaks, with a small fridge and the coffee pod machine. We stayed in the room with a shaded balcony which overlooks the courtyard and was lovely to sit out and have breakfast in the mornings. Host communicates via Whats App and Booking.com and was very helpful organising private transfers for us.

Air conditioning in the bedroom was not cooling the room efficiently so was difficult to sleep in the 30deg heat, which we didnt expect in October, but they were looking into fixing it! Was suprised that there was no safe / secure box provision in the apartment.

Great concept of sharing the kitchen and the entrance hall with other two rooms. On the other hand when a privacy required, you do not hear any voices or sounds from the other rooms 👍Kitchen is fully and well equipped, cleaned everyday. Everything at disposal, the fridge, the iron… the aircondition was priceless, very easy to operate and very strong if needed. The owners were always at disposal when necessary, very kind. Location just fantastic in a quiet street. Just 100m from St.Peter square, Colosseum and Fontaine de Trevi reachable in 20-30min of a nice walk. I definately recommend !

Nothing serious to complain about

Very nice, comfortable and cozy room. Right next to the Vatican (3min) at Prati neighbourhood, 6 minutes to the neareat bus stop for the city center. Everything was in place - felt like home!!!!! Would recommend that to all friends coming to Rome. AND best price 😉

Great location, close to the Vatican city and there's some retaurants and bars nearby. The host is very responsive and communicative. Facilities in good condition. The size is perfect for couples and the balcony is beautiful. To sum it up it's a very good value for the money and I definitly reccomend.

The AC had a rough start. The one in the bedroom is not strong enough to cool down the room, but once you also turn on the one in the common room it's good enough. The place was clean enough but they could put a bit more into it.

It was in a great location in the heart of the historic centre. It had everything we needed and it was also very quiet. We slept really well because it was so dark and quiet with the shutters closed. I liked that there were lots of plug sockets and there was a mirror in the sitting room, as well as the bathroom. Simona, the host, was very friendly and helpful.

It was easy to forget about the sloping roof by the bed on the mezzanine and bump your head.
