The property and rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond make us feel comfortable and feel like we were part of the Italian heritage. The decor was beautiful, and very meaningful - you felt the presence of God everywhere you looked. As part of the stay, you are given mass readings as well, making you feel very well informed of the church services. The location is perfect - it’s a few steps away from St Peter’s basilica, restaurants and souvenir shops. There are also other church building a few steps away. If you get a chance to visit Rome, please do. It’s also located in a safe area. I definitely felt safe waking around at night. The hotel is happy to organise a taxi ride - which makes your life so much easier. Plus, they will arrange airport shuttles - to and from the hotel, should you wish to use this form of travel.

+: Extreme proximity to the Vatican and St Peter’s Square which ensures safety and security for female solo travellers. English Mass available at the church on Sunday that’s right behind the Hotel. Hotel is clean, well maintained. -: Sound proofing - on my last night, some guest complained me and my friend were being too noisy in the middle of the night even though we were just talking normally. Also the second floor is literally almost at the street level so you can hear every car and loud outbursts from random street strangers. Not a problem for me as I’m a heavy sleeper but I can see why some people find it an issue.

This was a great hotel. Fantastic location right beside St. Peter's Square. Within short walking distance to restaurants and the sights of Rome. The staff were lovely and friendly. Room spotlessly clean. Plenty of towels in bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay. I applied for two tickets for Wednesday General Audience with the Pope through the hotel and they were given to me on Tuesday afternoon. Hotel arranged transfers which were on time

I can't really fault the hotel for the cobbled streets which can be a bit noisy. Honestly, we found the hotel great

First of all, a fantastic location - the closest hotel to the magnificent St. Peter's, this is just extraordinary. You can also easily take the opportunity of coming there earlier in the morning and avoid crowds (especially important in 2025, since it is a Jubilee year). The building itself also has a lot of history. The patio is beautiful, the inside is like a museum. The breakfast was rich, with a variety of options. The staff were probably the most polite and welcoming people we have ever met.

The rooms, of course, are not all new and shiny, which is completely understandable, given the age of this place. It can also be a little noisy in the evening (it is a very, very touristic area, after all), but neither of these were a problem to us - we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Fantastic location! We walked to all attractions. Very friendly staff, great breakfast with plenty of choice. Easy to access, 10 minute walk from metro station. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Difficult to think of much. The shower took a long time to heat up, but always got warm in the end. The garden area has a small round pond which is too small for the fish inside and I think they should be in a bigger pond, this was quite upsetting to see. We missed having a kettle and coffee making facilities in the room, but breakfast did not disappoint and we filled up on coffee there.

Location is superior. Staff very accommodating. Rooms very clean. Breakfast very good. All in small fridge was available to us at no charge. Arranged dinners at restaurant and arranged our taxis. Elevator convenient. Room temp can be regulated. Request a room above first floor to avoid street noise.

The only recommendation I have is to replace the pillows. They are very thin. I had to use 2.

It goes without saying that the location is exceptional but the real highlight of the stay was the way you were treated like a guest of the house and not just a customer. You are seated in the comfortable reception area, more like a large study, with a wonderful lady who checks you in and then escorts you to where the breakfast will be, explains that there will be black coffee available at the buffet but if you want cappuccino, etc., you ask the staff and it is freshly made. This wonderful lady then takes you back to collect your luggage , asking if you need assistance, and brings you to where the lifts are and explains were your room is and that there is always someone available to assist you, which they absolutely were. The room was well appointed and very comfortable with a well stocked fridge and coffee machine. We awoke each morning to find a sheet of beautifully headed paper with the readings and Gospel of the day printed on it, we thought that was a lovely touch.

A jewel inside Vatican City. For peregrins like me, and because I travelled with my elderly mother, this place is phenomenal because it is just a couple of steps from Basicila di San Pietro. Also, several restaurants are nearby, and places to buy souvenirs and a couple of bookshops. The palace is beautiful and quiet. The breakfast had a nice variety of choices and good coffee. Every morning, prayers and psalms were left under the door <3 And they gave us all the information about the services and mass dates/hours during our stays. They also offered information about tours and other activities in Rome.

The room was a little run down; a fresh up to the walls and woodwork was needed, and the walls were so thin that I could hear the neighbours.

Michela, was at the Front Desk when I arrived for check-in at almost 9 pm and hungry. She was so friendly and so sweet; she called a good restaurant nearby, that was still open, to reserve a table for me. It was indeed a good restaurant, where locals go. The location of the hotel is the best! Room is perfect, in terms of size and cleanliness. Despite located in a busy area, it's quiet inside. Breakfast has good variations to choose with excellent coffee.

The location was the best! Located just a few yards from the Vatican, the view right out the door is amazing! The breakfast selection was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was reasonably comfortable, though small.

The pillows were completely flat, but we didn't think to ask for others. The shower may have been the smallest I've ever been in, but it worked great. The room was small, but had what what we needed. The location and charm of the hotel more than made up for any deficiencies.
