Amazing terrace overlooking St Peter’s Square, watched the Pope deliver his message on Sunday, from the dining terrace. Building was temperature controlled beautifully, and housekeeping was perfect! Dinner was delicious and the quality of the food was very high, served by Francesca, who was a model of professionalism. The desk was responsive and kind, and willing to help with anything we needed or wanted. The entry is controlled and so even though the Jubilee was there, we never had any trouble with any people in the building who were not staying there. The elevator worked flawlessly, and the whole week was an A+.

I had the room with a view of St Peter's square and Basicila and was blown away by how close it is and the views! Very exclusive experience to all Vatican city fans .

The breakfast bag they gave me wasn't hardly anything good to eat! I had to leave early for non-stop flight to Dallas.

Everything. You have to have dinner on the terrace. The lady who serves you is one of the best waiters I've ever experienced. She couldn't do enough and the food was amazing. You don't get many staff like her.

The location of the hotel is exceptional—just steps away from Saint Peter’s Basilica and within close proximity to all major attractions. The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile, with special recognition to Fabio and Jhay for their outstanding service. The hotel was impeccably clean and well maintained, contributing to a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the offerings from the mini bar were equally impressive. The kitchen staff were courteous and hospitable throughout my visit. I sincerely appreciated the warm hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome and the Vatican.

I recently stayed at Rezidenza Paolo VI, and I had a wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the lovely lady at the reception who truly made my stay memorable. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter filled the lobby with a positive energy that was simply delightful. If I could wish for anything, it would be for all the front desk staff to share her incredible aura and genuine spirit. She has a way of making guests feel welcome and valued, and her energy spoke volumes before she even said a word. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and inviting atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team, especially to that wonderful lady at the reception for making my visit so special!

I couldn't have been closer to the Vatican. It was a 15-second stroll to the side entrance to the square. It was safe, clean, friendly, and welcoming. I will stay there again and I'll recommend it to family. The food was good, prices were more than reasonable, and the included breakfast had something for everyone and plenty of it. The terrace dining was a pleasure. 5 minutes from the Vatican post office (the way out of St. Peter's) found me at the entrance. And that at a stroll. This hotel is literally right there. A complete relief after all day walking. The Vatican museums were on the other side of the square, but not that far away. The Castle was a lovely morning walk straight away from the square. Even I didn't manage to get lost. And there is a wonderful little public garden where everyone brought the pups for meet and greet.

My small single room was plenty big enough for moving around and packing/unpacking. The cabinets for hanging/storing items were sufficient unless you brought the kitchen sink. The shower in my room was a small corner unit. If you are a large person, you will want a room with a full shower. The rest of the bathroom was just fine.

This hotel was perfect for our first nights in Italy! This was my parents first time in Italy and my Dad can't walk well because of a previous illness, so being close to the Vatican was a must for us for the tour. This is literally on the Vatican's steps and was so close to everything we wanted to do. We also loved that breakfast is served early at 7 AM so that we could book an early tour of the Vatican. The breakfast has a lot of offerings as well which we enjoyed.

The only con would be the AC in the room. Even though it appears that you would have full control over how hot or cold the room is, the thermostat only goes so far. We were a bit sweaty at night to be honest.

Wonderful stay at Residenza Paolo VI! The location is unbeatable—just steps away from St. Peter’s Basilica, which was perfect for our elderly mother. We were able to attend Mass and a papal audience, making the experience truly special. The breakfast was very good, the reception staff were warm and helpful, and the cleanliness of the toilet was excellent. They even added a stool in the bathroom. The Terrace restaurant offers breathtaking views of St. Peter’s, adding to the charm of the stay. However, we’d suggest a couple of improvements: adding coffee or a kettle in the rooms for added convenience and enhancing the food quality at the Terrace restaurant. Overall, a fantastic experience that we’d highly recommend!”
