Beautiful, quiet location with a view out to a garden and canal. Very comfortable and spacious apartment, newly refurbished but maintaining character of the original building. An excellent cafe/pasticceria nearby and a short walk to ferry stops. Giudecca is lovely and peaceful and away from the large crowds of tourists.

We could have used better directions/instructions to reach the apartment, but we should have asked! Google maps was not at all reliable - has no idea about ferry stops. Using the Venice public transport app was necessary and better. Count on around €10-€20 per day per person for ferry fares. A 75min ticket is €9.50. You can buy passes for several days. Getting to and from Giudecca takes a bit more effort and dining options on the island itself were more limited. But easy enough once we were more familiar with the ferries.

My only complaint is that I thought I was getting a view of Venice from our apartment. (As shown in the photos) Instead we got a pretty view of the private canal. An incredible storm came in over Venice and we could not see it from our room.

The apartment was spacious and as shown in the photos. It had views of the water and quite close to the water taxi.

The check in process was difficult when you are an older person and are not familiar with Apps that need to be downloaded. When I phoned the manager for assistance he was a little abrupt. The kitchenette was good but a toaster would have been handy. Tissues in the bathroom would have been nice. The owner could have provided information on getting around using the water taxi system as the property is not centrally located. It is difficult when you haven’t been to Venice before. Information on restaurants and supermarkets would also have been helpful.

The location is great—just a short 10-minute boat ride to Venice’s main attractions, yet far enough to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds. The island itself is charming, with a few local restaurants and cafés that are not only tasty but also much more affordable than on the main island. After check-out, we could leave our luggage at their partner hotel on the main island, which made exploring the city much more convenient. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for a mix of easy access to Venice and a quiet place to relax. I’d happily recommend it to other travelers.

My stay at Al Redentore di Venezia was truly exceptional. My family and I had the pleasure of enjoying a marvellous accommodation. The apartment we stayed in was spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. The communication with the staff was outstanding, especially with Elisa, who was always readily available to address our requests and cater to our needs with remarkable efficiency and kindness. The hotel is situated in a peaceful and safe area, conveniently located near public water transport stations (vaporetto or water bus), making it easy to explore Venice. I highly recommend Al Redentore di Venezia for anyone seeking a comfortable and memorable stay in this enchanting city.

In a quiet location on Giudecca, close to Redentore and Palanca vaporetto stops. The apartment has a high standard and is tastefully furnished. There are several good restaurants, cafes and bars in the immediate vicinity, and a number of small bakeries and other shops. It was very easy to get to Giardini and Arsenale for the biennale, and the vaporetto to the railway station of Piazzale Roma was easy and frequent. We have stayed in Venice many times, but this was our first time staying on Giudecca and we would certainly recommend it.

The only negative was that some of the kitchen equipment was defective, but we informed the management and it was replaced promptly.

The apartment was lovely, a great size, great layout. Loved the bathrooms. Views better than advertised. Nice and quiet area. Quite easy to get to with vaporetto stop nearby. Good shop nearby to stock up on food supplies. Overall an excellent apartment and IS very recommended. Loved the nespresso machine too. Absolutely lovely member of staff. Head out and towards guidecca Palanca 4 mins away and there's a great cafe bar. The opposite way and a handy pharmacy.

Front room sofa needs cleaning. Chipped cups and plates need replacing. Better, clearer reception instructions needed for arrival as we didn't have access to Internet at the time so didn't gave "door key" thought we might be stranded. And we didn't know the nice lady was meeting us or we'd have waited outside the property as we thought we had the wrong place. Reception needs opening a little earlier. Even a note on the door would have helped. Apartment needs to bare in mind that unless you have an international sim you dont havd access to the internet immediately for the door keys etc. You need waterproof shoes in this area. Not really accessible as had to clamber over the main doors watertight defence a foot high every time. Hob tripped fuses, has been reported tho.

The room was exceptionally specious with 2 bathrooms (didn’t know before). Comfy bed and sofa bad. Air con was perfect. Even not in main island, location was good just a few minutes walk from boat pier and supermarket. Quite a few good restaurants nearby. Peaceful and close by canal. Even though the place has no reception but it’s great that we could leave luggage and rest around in the lobby of Hotel Ai Reali (located in main Island) where the staffs were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The room has quite high level of moisture. Couldn’t dry out washed cloths overnight.

Great Location away from the busier areas of Venice, easy Waterbus to all the main attractions. Staff were incredibly friendly - bag store option was perfect for our last day. Gave us a whole additional day exploring without our bags. The apartment had great view and good cooking facilities. We would 100% stay here again.

Nothing really - Bluetooth key entry was a bit faffy its a very small criticism ' just make sure you have enough battery on your phone.

Location- so close to the main attractions (a short boat ride to St Marks Square), located on the beautiful island of Guidecca where you can find a small selection of restaurants, The Hilton Hotel and an amazing coffee shop/ deli called Majer, there is also a pharmacy and small supermarket. Many of the restaurants look across the water to the main attractions… such a beautiful view when enjoying your meals… such a peaceful location. Enjoy!

This apartment is accessed using an online app “Openow” which you access using your smart phone. It is a little tricky to use and it may be difficult for travellers who are not confident using this type of technology and prefer a key :)… it took us a few attempts to enter the property but it worked eventually.
