Short before coming to Venice, we went to check again the hotel, location etc, and came across all the reviews - they freaked us out… the first time ever we regretted booking something and literally got scared to stay there. In fact, we tried negotiating to cancel for free but they refused so we said ok, let’s go and if it is really that terrible, we are gonna leave and find something else. Happy to say that our stay was wonderful :) When checking reviews, we were sure that 7s and 8s in scoring are given by hotel staff or fake accounts lol but here we are, leaving a 7. So, giving my feedback based on things we were scared about due to existing reviews: Room size: yes, rooms are quite small. But they are totally large enough to feel comfortable for a short stay. Cleanness: I saw lots of comments on this but our room and bathroom were absolutely clean, and no bugs, insects or bed bugs. Sheets were changed daily and were clean and soft. Breakfast: yes, there are not as many options as in a 5 star hotel but they had everything you need in reality - eggs, cheese, ham, bread, yogurts, cereals, juices, coffee and the best fresh croissants!!!! (I had 4 during one of the breakfasts lol) Btw the breakfast is now served in the same hotel, downstairs! Staff: suuuper friendly!! Especially the lady serving breakfast!! Going extra mile for us :) Noise: yes, walls are thin. Maybe as it is not the season yet, we did not hear noises from people. The only thing is that we could always hear water running through the pipes, however, it did not in any way bother our sleep! Location: unbeatable. We saw people saying about the terrifying tunnel with drug addicts so what we did, not to test our luck, we took a bus from Mestre to the hotel which meant not going through the tunnel at all. Also, the bus to Venice is only 1-2 min away from the hotel, across the road. If staying on the 4th floor, you get a nice city view from the windows!! Overall, for this price, it is great!

It was in the perfect location, buses to Venice stopped across the street. Great value for the stay. The place was clean and I am glad I chose this hotel rather than just listen to the negative comments.

The receptionist was helpful however he could have been friendlier. The room was clean, a bit strange how the room was arranged, maybe this can be fixed, if they put 2 small bedside tables on both sides of the bed, 2 single beds were pushed together and the mattresses were sliding. I would say more or less small and positive critics to give.

Very close to Mestre station (5 minutes walk). Comfortable beds, clean room. Shower worked well and was hot. Air conditioning worked well. Decent breakfast buffet (served across the road at Hotel Mondial).

Arrived at about 1pm and wanted to store luggage until check in opened. The doors were locked, no one was responding to the bell. Fortunately a maintenance man was nearby and directed us across the road to Hotel Mondial, where we were able to complete the check-in paperwork and store our luggage for €1 per piece. I didn't notice until the next morning, but the air-conditioning had been slowly dripping water Unfortunately, I had placed my open suitcase underneath. Woke up to find wet clothes. Some water damage in the bathroom, including a patch of mould on the ceiling.

The location is excellent, there is a bus stop right in front of it and also a train station that goes straight to Venice.. The price was also good, considering that was the cheapest option, including breakfast. The breakfast is basic but with all the necessary things included (all very good), and yes, we had to go once to the hotel in front (just across teh street), which was not at all a problem for us. The air-conditioning was working great! The staff were friendly and helpful with all we needed.

The shower is super small, and because the door was broken, it ended up leaving the bathroom wet and slippery. The beds were separated (but we knew that already before making the booking). There is no fridge or wardrobe.

Location was great, the room was clean and (a bit too) warm. The room was a bit small, but had every amenity, hairdryer included. Excellent value for money, especially during carnival.

My room was a bit noisy with open window, and a bit too warm for keeping windows closed.

Pleasant experience - neer to train station and cheap shop, friendly staff, room with a/c and shower/toilet, decent breakfast, perfect for experiencing Venezia and stay in this hotel just overnight for rest.

We would appreciate a small fridge... but probably it would be a different star hotel and price...

Location was nice, in 1 min from direct bus to Venice. And way will take only 10 min. The breakfast option have no variety and repeatable. Served in the nearest hotel. The room is small but good for few nights. The bedsheet and bath towels were perfectly clean.

Excellent location, 2 minutes from the train station. The reception lady was nice and helpful. Very good value for money.

The window blinds only closed halfway, with lots of light seeping in. If you are light sensitive, bring a sleep mask. The shower gel is very little. Bring your own.

it was really good for price for this hotel it was 2 mins from mestre train station. they change sheets and tovels every day. and it was pretty clean

It was a good location for the train station so caring trains into the heart of Venice was very easy and cheap. (Make sure you buy train tickets)

You get what you pay for. Furnishings old and not super clean, bedding was clean and comfort was not bad.
