This was an excellent choice for visiting Venice. 10 out of 10! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) Great Location: Very close to the main train station, just a 7-8 minute walk away. 2) Very Welcoming and Friendly Staff: They met us at the agreed time, explained everything, and showed us to our room – all very efficiently! P.S. A special thank you for letting us leave our luggage for 5 hours after check-out, that was hugely appreciated! 3) Lovely Room & View: The room was very pleasant with a stunning view of a blooming magnolia from the window. It had everything we needed (mini-fridge, kettle with coffee and tea supplies, shower, safe, etc.). Housekeeping was done well and every day. 4) Clean Shower: The shower was compact but clean – just what you need. 5) Nice Breakfast: A pleasant breakfast with all the essentials was provided (we were very glad it was included!). Plus, a special shout-out to the staff member who treated us to a fresh batch of croissants straight from the oven! 6) Great Base for Exploring: The hotel's proximity to the station is also fantastic for day trips. During our 3-day stay, we easily managed to visit both Verona and Padua thanks to the frequent high-speed trains (running roughly every hour or two). If you have time after exploring Venice, we highly recommend venturing out to these nearby cities – P.S. Verona was stunning! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our overall impression of the place is fantastic. I honestly can't recall anything we didn't like. It's an excellent place!

location is great! just a few minutes walking from the station of Mestre, which is only 10 minutes away from Venice. Also buses pass every 10 min just across the street to Venice

the room is just OK, nothing special, looks better from the outside. From the inside decoration is dated (there's a difference between dated and historical)

The Villa is in a very good location, 3 minutes away from the Venezia Mestre train station and in a quiet area. Valentina was a very friendly and helpful host. We had an issue with the heating in the room and it was solved very quickly. Breakfast is good and the rooms are spacious are beautifully decorated. We did not manage to connect to the Wi-Fi though, but that was not such a big deal.

Maybe during the winter, quilts would be better instead of several overlapped blankets. The rooms are equipped with air conditioners for heating as well and they must be kept on during the night or else it can get extremely cold. The only disadvantage is that they make a small noise, but I suppose one can get used to that. Also, the shower cabin is quite tight. We did no have a problem with that, but it may be uncomfortable for those who prefer more space.

The staff was incredibly friendly and readily available whenever we needed them. They provided us with all the information we required, making us feel right at home. The hospitality was exceptional. A map of Venice was available, which was very helpful. The room was spacious, well-decorated. The breakfast was not in the traditional Italian style, but rather a generous and well-assorted continental breakfast. It provided everything we needed to start our day. The location, just behind Mestre Central Station, is comfortable This place is highly recommended, and we hope to visit again in the near future.

Brilliant location! It took 5 minutes to walk to the train station taking us into the centre of Venice in less than 10 minutes. Price was a fraction of what we would have paid in the centre. Decent value restaurants and takeaways nearby. Room was very spacious with high ceilings and a balcony just outside of the huge bathroom. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice enough with plenty of choices.

This is NOTHING against the place, but all down to OUR silliness- we left the window open overnight and my husband got absolutely savaged by mosquitoes. I'm just putting it here so that hopefully no-one else does the same.

First of all, transportation is very convenient, 300-400 m from Mestre Train Station, about 5 minutes on foot. You can easily reach the center of Venice and the airport from the station. As for the hotel, the lady who welcomed us was very polite and had good communication. The rooms were extremely clean and smelled nice. They made requests if we wanted to clean it every day. The breakfast was very good, filling and fresh. In short, it was an extremely nice experience for me and my wife.

Good location for visiting Venice. Villa is 3 minutes from the train station and it takes ~10 min to get to the Venice. There are some tasty restaurants nearby Room was spacious, way bigger than I expected Breakfasts are typical - bread, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, cucumber and tomatoes. Also some fruits are available

I'll recommend to bring your own shampoo, because the one that is provided is not really good (but I didn't expect it to be good considering price for the night). Hair dryer is also old and it'll take ages to dry long hair

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Villa Gardenia. Its proximity to the station made it incredibly convenient for transportation, while the quiet surroundings ensured a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The climate control system worked perfectly, adding to the overall comfort. Without a doubt, this hotel offers the best value for money in the area. Additionally, the convenient on-site parking, which was a great bonus. I highly recommend it!

It likes a small hotel with 24hrs reception. It is not a new one but renovated and colourfully decorated. Comfortable beds and very good aircondition system, you can control the t of your room. Rooms and bathrooms are specious, there is a large parking of the property. It is 5mins walking distance from the villa to Mestre train station and 15 mins to Venice by train. The breakfast was rich. We found a nice local pizzaria Al Calesse, at a walking distance, which we warmly recommend -perfect pizzas and pasta and cheap prices. Very polite staff of the villa! Valenina gave us a map of Venice and recomended us a quick walking tour in Venice. I recommend this property!

The garden outside could be better maintained

For the price point, you really can’t go wrong! The hotel is clean and comfortable, and location is perfect. A bus stop is literally opposite that gets you across to Venice within 15 mins. There are a flurry of tabachi shops to get a bus pass in the immediate surrounding. The gentleman host that looked after us was extremely helpful providing a map of Venice, top spots to see, how the transport system works and decent food in the area. There is a private yard for parking all inclusive. I was worried because I had a BMW and well like any popular tourist destination, thieves, but everything was fine!

This isn’t a problem of the hotel per se, but the area is a little dodgy. Not wildly bad by any means, but definitely a little sketch. It’s fine during the day
