Great location next to everything and the piazza. The front staff was very helpful!

We had to call front desk for hot water to take a shower 2x. Hotel had a large room deck but much to be desired...no trees, cover and outside chair n table were beaten down by sun. Also, the bed while large, the mattress was hard from the turn of the century.

The location is excellent, very close to st marks square and basilica and within a comfortable walking distance to the rialto bridge.

The beds were a little harder than I like and I was therefore feeling a bit sore by the time I went home. Also not much selection of warm food for breakfast, only overcooked bacon and tasteless scrambled egg. I could not eat any pastries due to being gluten intolerant so just had the cold meats and cheese and yoghurt and fruit

San Marco Palace is an absolutely stunning clean traditional italian hotel situated perfectly in the heart of saint Marcs square, breakfast was included in our stay which came In the form of mixed fruits, fresh yogurts, different cereals and also a basic hot plate range of scrambled egg, sausage and bacon, also on offer was a selection of pastry’s, breads with various cheeses, hams and sausage meats, there’s fresh juices on offer and two coffee machines, all as a eat what you buffet…. Very nice!

No kettle in the room when we arrived but was given one when I asked,

The staff is extremely helpful & kind seeking your comfort is their number one priority. The suite was larger than I expected with a full outdoor space to enjoy the Spring of Venezia (large enough to sit 4 for outdoor dining). The location is absolutely private and quiet with the busiest gondola station two bridges away! We are so happy to have our stay here, quiet, clean, and romantic. Thank you San Marco Palace

Little to no hot water

Nice hotel with PERFECT location. 1 minute walk and you are in St. Marks Square and less than 10 minutes to Rialto. Breakfast was excellent. Tasty and great assortment. Room was comfortable and spacious. We had a family suite and there was room for all of us and much more. The room was very clean and the staff was excellent.

Getting to the room from check in was a little challenging and unexpected. Three elevators and a few stairs in 3 different buildings to get from check into our room but we found the easy way on the street level-ask the front desk…it will make it much easier.

Location was amazing

Pillows were small and hard There was a kitchen with a microwave and cooktop- but there was no kettle, not even a spoon or bowl or plate to use, no tea bags.

Great location! All amenities in room. Great breakfast spread in the buffet. Beds were comfortable. Staff were very helpful and accommodating with directions and water taxi info and even went as far as packing us a breakfast for our very early start.

There wasn't too much not to like to be honest. They had everything we needed. The additional beds for the kids bould have a been a little more comfortable, but for the amount spent in the room it was perfect. If anything the word Deluxe may be a little bit of a stretch :)

Excellent location

The "coffee" at breakfast was absolutely undrinkable.

Location is amazing- right next to St Mark’s Square. Rooms were spacious and grand. Breakfast buffet was great.

It was quite noisy - we could hear the family below entertaining and playing music, so I suppose the walls/floors are quite thin. Would be good if staff could keep an eye on this. Also (amusingly) heard an American couple having a huge row in a building opposite across the alley. The bells are so loud but … it’s Venice!
