We arrived late at night after an exhausting hike to the summit of Mount Le Conte in Tennessee, followed by nearly 7 hours of driving. Thankfully, late check-in was available and went smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel also has an elevator, which is a nice plus if you’re carrying heavy bags. The next morning, we hit the road early again—Shenandoah National Park is about a 40-minute drive from the hotel. After exploring the park, we continued our journey all the way up to Niagara Falls, NY. Since we were on a tight schedule, our stay was short, but everything met our expectations.

Overall, it’s a decent place to stay. Like many hotels, though, it suffers from poor sound insulation. At one point, I heard a man sneeze and thought he was in my room—it gave me quite a scare until I realized it came from the room next door! Footsteps and stomping from the floor above were also noticeable throughout the night.

The best and quickest check in and check out we ever experienced!!! Walked in and said our last name and if we wanted the charge to go on the credit card I used to make the reservation. Said yes please. Our room key was immediately handed over to us and off we went. Took about 60 seconds total. And had cookies at the desk and popcorn in the corner!!! Price per night was great! Bed was comfy and towels were plenty in the bathroom! All that will keep us coming back!!!

Breakfast choices were just ok. Eggs were not desirable at all and the coffee from that big dispenser machine was terrible. Very weak despite using the ‘bold’ button. Self made waffles were good of course. Not too many choices for bagels or pastry. Cereal and other choices were fine. Little bit of mildew staining in the shower.

Modern and clean accommodations with everything we were looking for. Beds work very comfortable and rooms came with refrigerator and microwave. Bathrooms were cleaned and stocked well including a blow dryer.

The elevator sounded and felt like Tower of Terror at Disneyland in Florida! It shook and squealed as it passed the third and fourth floors. Unfortunately the microwave in my room didn't work. We were traveling cross country and I have a knee injury so every place I stayed I needed a microwave to warm my gel pad.

Liked: Hotel was clean. Disliked: I had to stay due to a snow storm in the area. However several customers, myself included, were trapped for several hours the next day (in the hotel parking lot), because the hotel didn’t have any rock salt to melt the slippery surface in the sloped parking lot. The storm was forecasted for several days in advance, and to not have any rock salt on hand is astonishing. After several hours, a worker finally went to a nearby hotel and got some of their rock salt

It was a nice place, sorta easy to find, lol! The receptionist was semi friendly and didn't give us a wake-up call I requested, but it's ok. We sat an alarm to be up and out. I work in customer service, and the guy just seems like he needs to loosen up some, have fun with his job, talk louder and just be a little more outgoing. But I also understand 100% how hard it is to do this with some people. He did have a few hasty/mad oldies over no breakfast, and in his defense, it was 645, and it clearly stated that breakfast is open at 7am, so they were at fault, not him. He still gets an A in our book. 💗 and he did offer to carry the 13yo beagle up 4 flights of stairs for me. 💗💗💗

That we couldn't stay longer and enjoy things better. We were late coming in and had a schedule to stick to.

The staff were extremely kind. Breakfast was great and very clean area. The bed was amazing, pillows were the best. I could have lived in the shower for the amazing water pressure. I had the best little refrigerator, it was one of the few that kept everything amazingly cold. The hotel is close to everything you may possibly need and the staff will be glad to help you find anything special. I will definitely be staying here again!!

Nice touch with the popcorn 🍿. Clean and quiet. Location is good.

There was an "iPad" used at the front desk, which I believe customers will log in for their loyalty program, that kept displaying guest information after the transaction was done. Front desk staff can't see this happening or being displayed it is facing the other way. Iron kept licking water.

elevator was out, we were supposed to be on an upper floor but I am having a problem with stairs right now so the clerk relocated us to the first floor. I believe the elevator has been out of service for some time now :( It would be nice if breakfast could start at 630 instead of 7, there were several people waiting for it.

Very nice and clean. The bed was super comfy

The elevator was dirty; I think they should clean the area around the buttons because there were a lot of fingerprints. The breakfast was served a little late. It starts at 7 a.m. We were leaving early for Virginia Beach, but we had to wait so we could have breakfast first.
