You are walking distance to the beach 🏖️. And yes, there is plenty of space to walk your dog and they have the poop bags/trash cans to throw away and there is a Benihana Restaurant across the street and on Poinsettia Lane if you turn left I saw people coming back with grocery bags, so there much because plaza or grocery store near there that is walking distance from hotel 6, if you turn right from hotel 6 on Poinsettia Lane go over bridge you are going towards Coastal Highway 101 and then you are at beach.

There is microwave or refrigerator but that's ok with me. They do serve coffee in the morning, besides gets up to go to breakfast. All is was great for me.

This property and the staff were accommodating to my needs without issue. I was having an issue with my vehicle and I was pleasantly surprised upon resolving my issue that took a couple of hours to do at the property, they had no problem with my doing so! I am truly appreciative of their understanding on my situation . Thank you Motel 6 Carlsbad!!! I was happy everything and everyone at your establishment and highly recommend to anyone reading this to stay here, it's the best!!!

Not one thing I did not like.I slept well. It was very clean and comfy. Lots of parking available as well. It

Rooms were clean, they DID NOT SMELL BAD, beds are comfy, they were raised so you could actually put stuff bellow the bed, ac was on the top and away from you which is also good. and most importantly it was quiet, it was not loud its pretty peaceful.

only thing we had issues were the keys, they gave was one it was working but we needed two we went back, they made another one but came back it did not work we went back again, they made two and disabled other two. both of them worked for one day the other day one key was not working and disabled. but not a big deal we were never locked out of the room

The property was clean and super close to the stores and beach. This Motel 6 was simple and basic which I like if your staying a few nights. I had no problems with my stay. Inside the room there isn’t much just bathroom, bed and TV with cable :)…….so you know I put on back to the future #3 (channel 37) and ordered ramen down the street. highly recommend if your looking not to spend to much. Definitely bring your own blankets and pillow. If you want to sleep like royalty. They had some sheets but I’m high maintenance I like to sleep like a king. but I will come back :D p.s they had a vending machine so I got B4 (SunChips )

This is one of the best motel 6 locations I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to so many recently. Every staff member was so polite. You’re right next to the beach. They accommodated us from the beginning with a 1st floor room. Place was clean the manager actually walked the property as well. Security at night was nice.

The washers are a bit janky but that’s such a small issue.

Friendly and helpful staff. Tried to accommodate all requests. Lobby open 24 hours. Hot water always available.

Dark room, barely sunlight. Curtains are either closed for sleeping or if you open them, everybody can look inside. Would have liked to have more privacy without closing the blackout curtains.

Great location. Very busy area so prices were high but I guess usual for that area. Basic but overall clean ish. Just looked kind of old and some curtains need repair look like could be replaced. But good. We needed a place to put our heads and this was good. Wouldn’t stay here for long but it is good.

Some things looked outdated and could be repaired. But everything worked:)

Staff were super nice, even letting us go into the pool for a bit when it was closing. The room had everything we needed, but everything was cheap feeling -- bad pillows, cheap towels, etc. Good for a quick stay.

Very thin walls, and we could hear everything in the parking lot. Still, not a bad place for a quick stopover.

rhe ubication was so good and zone was very nice, the facilities are not great but are enugh good to stay and sleep

inside the room was not tissues or enough towels to take a shower, we ask for a room for 2 adults and 2 childs and the room was for two (yes we have beds por 4 people, but supplies are only for 2)

I liked that they accommodated my request a non smoking room near the pool. They also provided me with enough additional sheets, toilet paper and pillows for my stay.

The bed on the left had a dent in the right middle side which made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep on.
