From the moment we arrived, we were captivated – this hotel is even more stunning in person than in the photos! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the very start. We were absolutely thrilled with our room. It was beautifully appointed, featuring stylish furniture and every comfort imaginable. The spacious bathroom was another highlight, and everything, everywhere, was immaculately clean. The room featured exceptional soundproofing and blackout curtains for truly restful nights. Breakfast was a delight! The buffet offered a wonderful selection of diverse and fresh ingredients, all served in an elegant setting. And the location? Simply unbeatable! The hotel is situated in a beautiful area directly on the lakeside, offering breathtaking views. Exploring the city was also a breeze, thanks to the convenient public transport nearby (ticket included in the tourist tax). I can't recommend this hotel highly enough – it truly exceeded all my expectations!

I couldn't name a single annoyance.

The location is perfect by the lake. The property is very clean and very well maintained! There is an underground parking and plenty of parks on the property and around should you be with a dog.

The property has several buildings and we assumed we will stay in the one presented on the main picture but we didn’t. We stayed in a building like a block of flats where long term residents stay as well. So while we expected and looked forward to stay in the amazing old and well restored buildings we stayed in a new one . The room was perfect but the issue is what you get VS what you expect. And there was no mention anywhere of I would have wanted to choose in which building to stay. Is a an accommodation lottery . Secondly they offer parking for 30 chf but they also mention there is a pay per hour parking on the port. You end up paying 25 and walk around . Not sure why they even mention that parking, choose the one they have

Excellent location, staff at hotel reception was very courteous and helpful. The room was very spacious and beautiful.

The restaurant was overrated and extremely expensive. The waiter we had told my husband he didn’t have Prosecco but offered to make him a Bellini. He served him less than half of a very small flute glass for 15 euros, probably 2 ounces, maybe less. We thought that was excessive . The food was also served in very small portions, looked very pretty but didn’t taste so good. My pasta was too al dente and my husband’s vegetables inedible, so tough. overall the restaurant was too pricey for what they offered.

Fantastic balance between classic design and architecture with modern facilities. The rooms we stayed in had been recently upgraded with modern pastel colors, beautiful wallpaper, and a modern bathroom. The grounds were also excellent, including nearby parking and the reception, plus the pool area. Additionally is the top quality service!

Very minor points would be the gym (equipment fine but in a bit kf a dungeon) and the pool size (could be doubled)

I liked the location a lot. The lake was directly accessible and the city centre easily accessible via tram. The tram station is a 3 min footwalk. Everything was fine regarding clean facilities and service.

Buildings to operate, such as sleeping rooms and breakfast restaurant buildings, are not connected. So when coming with kids, you must dress them weather appropriate just to get to breakfast. Spa wasn't really a spa.

The location was great, nice to be by the water and away from the centre of Lausanne. However, the metro was around the corner from the hotel and was very easy to use. The hotel provided a free metro card for our stay. The pool was lovely. The room was spacious and from the outside a very beautiful hotel. There are plenty of eateries nearby. There is off-road parking if needed.

No hotel lounge or bar to relax in. There were two sofas in reception but very open and not suitable plus no drinks were available there. The lift broke while we were there. The bathroom sliding door was temperamental, it really needs to be replaced. The rooms could have been a bit nicer given how beautiful the hotel is. I think they need a refurb.

The staff were helpful and pleasant. The room had a side view of the lake and a view of the pool. The location is excellent only a 1-2 minute walk to the lake side. Secure on site car park.

The room was not what i would expect for a 4 star hotel. I think the grading is because of the hotel's location in relation to the lake. The restaurant was a bit on the expensive side so ensure you have deep pockets if eating there.

Incredible lakefront location, close proximity to restaurants and activities, delicious breakfast food (but very expensive breakfast). Huge room size, huge bathroom, all very spacious and clean, and great housekeeping service each day. They thought of everything in the rooms, even room-darkening blackout shades and very comfortable beds and air conditioning.

The breakfast was confusing - many of my friends had it included in their room booking for free, but I did not, so had to pay 40 Francs for a breakfast buffet (crazy!). If you're going to have an included breakfast, it should either be complimentary for everyone who books, or paid for everyone, no confusing split policies.

Amazing setting, very clean and stylish rooms and surroundings, super nice cleaning people, best location, grocery store in a minute walk.

Moving around at the property with a stroller is pretty difficult since there are lots of stairs. Also only narrow revolving doors at the reception building which makes it complicated with a buggy.

Our rooms were spacious and quiet with good quality beds and aircon so we slept well. The hotel is perfectly situated opposite the lake and very close to the metro exit. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Having the swimming pool was a delight in the hot weather. We didn't use the spa or facilities in the sister hotel across the road but for some that might be a nice option. All in all it was a lovely stay.

We had made a couple of special requests ahead of time which were agreed by the hotel. One of these was met after we chased them up several times, but sadly the other was not met at all. In addition, during our stay the teas we consumed were not replaced and it would have been nice to have some herbal options provided. Again this was requested but never materialised. We were surprised and somewhat disappointed by these things given this is a 4 star hotel where we anticipated an extra level of attention to detail.
